[Resolved] Indian Railway / ATVM — After validity refused to recharge the Smart card | |||
Dear Sir, On 30 Dec 2011 My ATVM Card (NR 0060019) reflect that the card validity is 3rd Jan 2012 and balance is Approx Rs 200 then i go to the recharge counter of ATVM of PF -1, Hazrat Nizamuddin, there was no one to make it recharge, for 30 Min there was no one came because i have to catch the train i move on. then again i reach to the same counter on 28 Jan 2012 to make it recharge and validity, the person sitting out there have told me that my card got expired and i cannot redeem my balance and the deposit money.whick is approx Rs 250. request you to kindly suggest on this context, what should i do now ? You can lodge your complaint on http://www.pgportal.gov.in/ as after expiry of the said period one month grace period is given by the Railway Board for the refund of Smart Card. You must get balance of Smart card and security deposit after deducting of Railway Charge. Eventhough your Smart card is unreadable you are entitle for the refund manully through Chief Commercial Manager Northern Railway. As there is no fault on your side. Do not leave the money lodge the complaint and demand for the refund.

Dear Sir,
On 5th Dec 2014 My ATVM Card (NR 0109384) I have approx. Rs. 450 in my card and when I tried to use the same at New Delhi Railway station, machine displayed in valid card / expired card.
I went to the counter to make it recharge and validity, the person sitting out there have told me that my card got expired and I cannot redeem my balance and the deposit money.whick is approx Rs 500.
Request you to kindly suggest on this context, what should i do now ?

On 22nd Dec 2017 My ATVM Card (CR 1125145) I have approx. Rs. 100 in my card and when I tried to use the same at Andheri, Mumbai Railway station, machine displayed in valid card / expired card.
I went to the counter to make it recharge and validity, the person sitting out there have told me that my card got expired and I cannot redeem my balance and the deposit money, which is approx Rs 100.
Request you to kindly suggest on this context, what should i do now ?
