[Resolved] Indian Railway — change time of Shalimar-Baripada intercity

SIR,
The people of Baripada traveled to Kolkota mainly for marketing only for business purpose , so
suitable time to traveled to Kolkata is at night after finishing business work and suitable time for marketing at Kolkata is in day time .
Therefore, departure time of Salimar-Baripada intercity should be at Kolkata in between 17pm to 20 pm and departure time at Baripada should be in between 23 pm to 2 am , otherwise passenger will be poor in the train.

You are 100% right. And we have already taken up this matter with the Railways Authorities. The timings of this train no. 8007/8008 Shalimar - Baripada - Shalimar Intercity Express will be changed soon to the benefit of the people of Baripada.

The departure time from shalimar could be from 17pm to 20 pm, as suggested before, but please the departure time from baripada should be from 3am to 5 am, otherwise the departure time would be very odd.Please look into the matter.
