[Resolved] Indian Railways — Unsafe Practice by AC Coach attendant
Railway Safety Organisation, Indain Railways I travelled in train no 18606 (Jaynagar- Ranchi Exp) between Darbhabga and Ranchi on[protected] in A1-coach bearth no 30. In the night I found 2 doors near seat no 46 pad-locked. This was highly unsafe as then there will be only 2 exits in case of any accident or fire and in such situation many passenger may run towards these locked exits and get trapped. I tried to locate the AC-Coach attendant but failed - later I noticed he was not in uniform and was wearing a striped red T-Shirt without any name badge. He was totally discurteous and quickly picked up and arguement once this unsafe practice was pointed by me. He finally opened the locks only once train reached Bokaro Steel City. I donot know if he lied but he told his name as Chandan Kumar. I request he may be repremanded for such un-safe practice and action taken against him. regards Amitabh Kumar Sinha Was this information helpful?
