Hi I have received an message from TA- [protected]@ from the contact no. [protected] stating that i have been awarded a prize money of 700000GBP and the person Mr. MIKE JOHN asked me to remit an amount Rs.36000 INR to SHRI KRISHNA ENTERPRISES AC/NO.[protected] PAN .NO. AIXPV3615M.AT ICICI BANK. Mr. MIKE JOHN contacted me at every hour and remind me to remit the amount . He told me that, he is waiting at Indra Gandhi airport Delhi to coming to my place for delivering the prize money Now i am terribly confused to solve this problem .Kindly let me know the above information is correct or not. If we are getting somany Messages and calls I Really want to take a serious action on this we all wanted to know wether it is a True message or a Falfe Message Was this information helpful? | |

There are misleading messages being sent to customers of various Banks stating that funds need to be credited to their account with respect to some lottery / inheritance/ job offers / international funds transfer.

No legitimate company will offer to send you a cheque/transfer funds to your account subject to your sending them some money. Such scams are a global phenomenon and a challenge to all banks.
