[Resolved]  Kannada People In Bangalore — Behavior of kannada people

I am a North indian...generally termed as Northy by some ppl...guyz how can we indians be so narrow minded to fight among themselves just becoz have different ...if a south indian decides to be simple and not wear costly clothes then its his choice right...dn forget that gandhiji had only a piece of lungi and a sheet of cloth to cover his body...gus we are their gand sons and daughters... Also on the other hand ppl from south have to stop treating other state's ppl as outsiders...for gods sake dn be another Raj Thakre...we are indians and not hindi walas or tamil or kannadigas...these are just languages for communication to express urself to the other person...a thought cannot be hindi wala/kannadiga/tamil right...we shouldnt fight like monkeys over superiority of language and tradition...History and aggressions has lot more to make different regions, traditions and ppl as they are now...be it north or south or west or east...but that was before Britishers became the cause to unite ppl across this country...Stop returning to the era before british rule...its going backwards dear...Accept that literacy rate is high in south today...but dn forget that all different great saints who educated ppl from all over world and whose name ppl bear in gothras like bharadwaj, valmiki, pulast, atri etc had their ashramas in north india which was the centre for education since vedic period...even shankaracharya's guru happenned to be from Gujrat...god chose some part of this country to be born...I dn claim that credit belongs to any specific region...its a achievement of every country men...every region has its own fragrance, colour and beauty...just respect it and dont fight for supremacy...now I realise that national politics is very much important to be present in every fragment of this country...we simply call them states...

Gandhi ji wore a single cloth only buy that was for the welfare of Indians and society and moreover he never accumulated wealth for him... pls understand and dont compare things unnecessarily..
and every indian shd think that we are indians.. trust me, so many autowals, subzi wala, bus driver and condutor behave badly with northindians... please do something so that they shdnt differentiate..

To resolve such situation why don't you learn the local language. Learn a few sentences at least which could come handy for negotiations at least, that could do the wonders in emergency situations rather then expecting the people to communicate the way you want . I don't think there is any harm in learning any language where you stay. Make sense..Lets not have debate about such unwanted issues, when we have the solutions with in ourselves.

Yep thats right...I am from Kerala and I have been working here in Bangalore since the last 3 years - I have now learnt Kannada - Its not tough to learn Kannada...Brothers, its all on the attitude...if our attitude is "WE DONT WANT TO LEARN/COOPERATE" then there is no solution ...I am born and brought up in Dubai and I have seen people from across India living in perfect harmony out there...In Dubai there are no Tamilians, Kannadigas or Northies, all are Indians so these problems doesnt arise...to the person who said that he had intercourse with Kannada girls I must say that it is indecent for anyone to say that...you also have sisters and a mother...how ashamed your mother or sister will be to read your comments...Dont ever tell bad about the girls out here...I have seen how good and cultured they are...there are a lot of Kannadigas in our office and I have been invited to their house for lunch and dinner on many occasions ...I havent had any bad experiences with any...yes, the auto drivers and the street vendors are a bit rigid and I also have had bad experiences with them...its not becuase I am from another state...my Kannada friends also have had the same experience with the auto drivers...thats how they are...its the law enforcement authority thta have to deal with these kind of things...anyways lets not fight like this and lets live peacfully with everyone as long as we are destined to live here

Really Kannada peoples excluding professional people are really sick. They are really lusty and really stupid. Most of these south indian movies are just have so much of exposure and also like most of those bad A grade movies are of south indians only. Yesterday only I came across such a incidence two kannada people were going and they touched one girl on her breast portion directly. When she shouted the Police cop come up also started favouring the kannadas instead of tht innocent girl. Really that incident made so ashamed of out community and specially these [censored]ing kannada low class people and [censored] on all kannada police force also.. If there is someone from bangalore, please don't take it personally but these lower class people are really of dogs.

Sorry to the guys whose feelings I hurted alot. I should not told like this but some incidence make feel like ashamed of humanity itself... really this was a bad experience but I also have some good experiences being in bagalore but towards girls I faced many incidence its comparatively worst attitude of kannada peoples than other part of the india. really lusty people...

Hi RS160919.. Ok your North India is heaven for girls. And many north girls don't like heaven and come to hell in bangalore for job and education... why ?
If you dont like low class bangalore move to high class patna/lucknow

I will give u the answer. Bangalore is in India and that is why they are coming to India. Nobody want permission from you kannadigas to come to Bangalore. This is part of India. Every Indian has the right to live anywhere he likes.

When I say Indian, we are not considering kannadigas as Indians because you have your own flag. Since Bangalore is a part of India, you kannadigas are living here as refugees.If you say Bangalore is a hell it is only because of kannadigas. But we Indians want to make it heaven. For that if we are forced to push you people to a corner, we will do it. Yes I mean it.

Excuse me who so ever you are. You are right. This is India and every one has the right to go and stay wherever he/she likes, but please refrain from using such provocative statements as refugees and other stuff in such forums, which may lead to issues. Because of you other shouldn't be at risk. I'm a non kannadiga and I do respect their sentiments. And taking about pushing them out, just try and see you will no the consequence. Learn to respect the people and the culture if you can't just keep your trap shut rather then blowing trumpet from your @#@$ Kindly refrain from spreading filth. This is forum and so maintain some dignity rather then spreading disharmony. Don't underestimate the Kannadigas, they are good people, its just people have adapt themselves. i was travelling in a bus from domlur to kammanhalli...

i told the conductor that i usually pay 11 rupees...

now dis guy who otherwise seemed to be a good person...

suddenly started asking me to get down 2stops before...

i asked him to take money if the fare had risen...

dis obstinate fellow even after having extra money,

which i am sure was an undue demand...

started babbling rotten words...

i was explaining in d most polite manner to him dat

i didn't know if dere was a fare hike...

he continued babbling rotten and den even i became hot...

and den a good kannada person came and advised me not to

argue with the idiotic conductor...

Dear Kannadigas now a days non kannada poster are posting in public place even in temples also, No one is asking for that even kannada sangha or political people.

For information:We are not fighting with no kannadigas but we have rights to save our Kannada language, If you come to kormanagala side you will observe posting other state languages ADS, banners in public's area and also in temple, for name shake they are putting Kannada words in small fonts..like this we are losing our Kannada culture

Why whats happening to kannada people, why no one is asking,
If Non Kanndigas are so much interested to post their state languages in Bangalore or other city's in Karnataka, why our Kannada people are not stopping for that,
i am not telling to post a ADS in other state in Kannada language, If you have guts to put our Kannada word in Neighbours state then i will be happy for that, why i am telling "GUTS" boz other state no one will allow to post other state language boz they love their state heartly..

I think this needs to be reported to rakhshan vedike and other bodies. This is absurd. Tear the poster and banners down..Its high time to wake up and kick the butts of these non kannadiga;s SOG's to repect the culture. I'm not telling all there are few good ones. Hello Non-kannadigas staying in Bengaluru.. I[censored] people have so much of prob wit our state, why the hell u people are here n makin our city a hell to live in? V hav no probs even i[censored] people leav this state n though it doesnt improve.. But v want to get rid of mean minded people like u all.. u are stayin in this Godly place and talking cheaply abt the place which is providin u the food n job.. We will find both good and bad ppl everywhere.. I don think it's correct to generalise anythin lik tat.. And look at the comments made by one of the North Indians about Kannada girls. It shows his culture, how morale, how ethical he is! But do u think it's right if I generalize n say that all North Indians r cultureless, don't have ethics??

In the same way, there might be a few ppl who may take advantage o[censored]r lack of knowledge abt Kannada language, but that doesn't mean all Kannadigas are bad. And what's ur problem in learning Kannada? Are u so narrow minded? One should first learn to respect others' culture, language.India is a land of diversitites and have broad mind to accept all cultures and respect all languages.

You don't know the spelling of "What"(Not Wat) "Mistake" (Not mistak), "Take" (Not tak) etc. But the worst thing is that you don't know the spelling of your birth place. "Bangalore" or "Bengaluru" (Not banglore)

I have a kind request to you. If you want to blame others you can do it.I don't have any objection. But please don't kill English (Universal language). If you are not able to write in English, please write in your so called great language Kannada.

request to kannadigas: please go to otherstate and work for 1 year really if you guys have guts, and come back and comment here in which state that people are treating other state people as outsiders.

I worked in most of the cities like hyderabad, chennai, pune etc. no where they bothered about calling people as other state people. hyderabad is a pleasent place to work and most of the people in chennai dont even care about you kannadigas.

request to so called other state people: as a educated persons you guys should try to develop you state also not simply come and settling in other state and arguing like this. work here for couple of years and request that you are looking for job in hyderabad, chennai or pune. automatically companies will move out from karnataka and set their offices in this cities. Then you guys take a revenge on this kannadigas, they have to come to your cities for something, that time kick their asssss.

i am a north indian traveled to kerala via tamilnadu, i saw a banner in kannada near to a famous shiva temple. And lot of kannadigas visiting that temple and most of the boards are written in kannada also. so do you want tamil people to go and tear the banners in kannada. tamil people no body bothered about that banner. what you say for this.

Dear friend, I am sure that a good educated broad minded kannadiga will never be bothered about banners in other languages. I am living in Tamilnadu (Chennai) & came across so many kannadigas in my life.I had very good experiences from those people. I have so many kannadiga friends also.

You have mentioned that u have seen kannada banners in Tamilnadu.Have u visited Sabarimala? You can see banners in 6 languages. English, Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu.Can u believe? If any Malayali raise his voice against this, can u tell all malayalees are language fanatics? No.

We don't need to care about these barking dogs like Girish.What they can do is only barking. Those people can't stop you from staying anywhere in India because India is a secular country.

And one thing is evident from the above posts the inferiority complex of some like Girish, ralph22, narmatha, kiran etc. I don't think there is no difference between these people and street dogs.

I am living in Chennai and these kind of street dogs are there in Chennai also. But I don't care. I used to ignore them and make friendship with god people. Good people means those who understand human values and those who are proud to say " I am an Indian".

So any where you go make friendship with these good people and ignore these street dogs like Girish, Ralph etc. What they can do is only bark, they will piss off in front of a real INDIAN.
