But don't be silly enough to make statements such that some people are living because of your mercy.

My dear friend, even if you are not broad minded & peace loving, then also if I want to live in a city in India, I will do it. Do you think you can stop me from that? Are you threatening?

My dear, in my home city also there are so many kannadigas settled for food & shelter. We never think of driving them out because we know that it is meaningless to think like that.

This is India and all o[censored]s are Indians. Change your mind and start thinking as an Indian.

It is not wise to show off your ugly smartness in public forums like this.

Bangalore people love to speak in english, do u know hindi is not a national language? learn indian constitution u fools! so y should we learn hindi? we r cosmopolitan and we speak good english.I[censored] donot know how to speak english n think u can get on with ur mother tongue in bangalore, then u r the one who suffers!

Even auto drivers, waiters, shop keepers know good english. Have u even tried to speak in english with them?

do u know that APJ Abdul kalam being a muslim in Tamil nadu doesn't know Urdu??He is a devout Tamilian.
The same goes in Kerala.

We donot have a history of Terrorism in Karnataka, like LTTE, Naxalites.Nor we beat up North Indians like in Mumbai-but i[censored] provoke, u will get beaten.
Even in Delhi, places like Connaught place, posh, swanky resturants or food chains, the waiters doesn't even speak in english! Here in bangalore, knowing good English is must i[censored] want to be even a waiter!

Only in Bangalore u wont find people spitting paan every where(except marwaris, gujratis n other north indians).Go to any state in India(especially in North), u see paan stains literally everywhere! yuk.
Kannadigas like Infosys Narayana Murthy have started the IT revolution in Bangalore, not some paan chewing, hindi speaking guy!
Where would u guys be if we didnt start the Engineering/medical colleges and MNCs? u guys would be in deep ! I know India very well, i have been to all the places in India, and it really sucks!
I was shocked by the unhygenic conditions of people in North india when i first visited the hindi heartlands. People really shouuuuut at the top of their voice there.Poverty is rampant in North India and is clearly visible.no wonder the trains to Bangalore are filled with immigrants from ur place!DO U KNOW WHTS THE FIRST THING U SEE WHILE ENTERING DELHI THRU TRAIN FROM BANGALORE?? And ofcourse how can we forget the criminals and dacoits turned sadhus who become sadhus in order to avoid arrest from police.(DO U KNOW HARIDWAR IS FILLED WITH SUCH PEOPLE AND THEY ARE GIVING REALLY HARD TIME TO POLICE)

Jammu & Kashmir- no need to say about it, as everone knows whts going on there.

West Bengal - Dirty people, on the river beds - example in jalpaiguri. Bengal is a very populated state, poverty is rampant.

Gujrath- Crazy psycho people killing innocent Muslims.
Dowry, and HONOUR KILLING is famous in North Indian states, no doubt about it! They dont even allow two lovers to marry peacefully there.
And finally, which state can beat the weather of Karnataka?(majority of districts have a pleasant weather)
I see in news, that people are dying of extreme Cold as well as extreme Heat in North india.God how can a man survive in such a mess?

Many Northies who have put comments here seem to really uneducated. They might have tech degrees. But are still uneducated. Just because they remain ananymous behind their comments they say ' watch out, we will do this, .. do that." . Well, what have they done to north India, rape -3 foreign tourist every day, Delhi is the rape capital of the Country. They made Bihar a hell and now are here to teach Bihari culture to the rest. They think going to pub - not temple is Indian culture. They always say their car was on the right track and others came from wrong side ( who is here to chck whether it is true?) Who kill in road rages? who put wives in tandoors? shoot waitresses for not serving liquor after 12 PM ? Whose main business is kidnapping for ransom? I do agree, most of the auto rikshaw drivers are rude, if not paid whatever they charge. But all other incidents are suspect, and tell about the bad bringing up of the narrators.

Hi, I am Vijay from Hubli City its in Karnataka, I came bangalore in 2006 for the past 4-5 yrs, I worked in Pvt Ltd Company as well as in BPO & now in MNC, I made many friends in this Bangalore City (Out siders & localities) but one thing I have observed from this localities (50% to 70% people) they take interest in others life, even if he is ignorant to them, they may give comment towards him by observing his body language so that he should get disturb of himself.. Okay bye… I am in hurry now….

I feel bad that some one is complaining about Bangalore in relation to the North and even TN in south. I am from TN originally, today I am a Bangalorean and I stick to it.
If culturally someone cant digest Bangalore culture I will suggest
a. They leave the place, we dont need crowds o[censored]nwanted folks from outside.
b. They are mad as they are unaware of the rest of India or they are just fanatical.
I can tell even though I have been a Chennaite till mid twenties, I will yet think Bangalorean culture is superb, decent, non intrusive and gentle compared to Chennai. Chennai is angel in comparison to most parts of North India. In south I will rate a Kannadiga as the best behaved person on the average. In India south indians are the most refined and better behaved.
So if somebody is biassed to crib about Bangalorean culture based on some silly Auto driver (he might be a Maharastrian, there are MH autos in BLR or he might be a tamil guy settled here or a malayali or a telegu guy, or maybe a recent Bihari migrant who drives an auto in addition to his other Bihari duties...ooops I dont want to get into the details! then why complain about Bangalore.
The only fault I have ever found with Kannadigas, and I hope they listen is that they are so DAMN TOLERANT that others can sit in their home and misuse and abuse it and yet they talk sweetly. Why dont you learn to talk Kannada? If in TN you will have to talk tamil and no fella understands anything but Hindi in the Cow belt.
Finally in which part of India do you expect all auto drivers to be honest?
Comeon Bangaloreans if you waste your breath fighting such guys you will go mad. Though I dont thing SAM (solpa adjust madi) is needed here, you cant reform those who cant reform. I am forced to give a line from a Tamil film song

Same way, if Fanatics come and crib about Bangalore we cant fight them, since it only hurts us to throw a stone at (la. Fanatics!). The person who wrote this post and that too claiming to be in a hurry seems to be either a fanatic or mad. As somebody posted above, if you can find a good job in your home town why will you drift to Bangalore?
Analogically if Bangalore can progress and not your home town then something is wrong with your place and that means with your mentality and that means with you too!

We need to go for a strike that the people who are in karnataka are eligible to stay unless until they learn kannada and speak... These come to Bengaluru to earn their their living and also works in all respects to settle down in Bengaluru but still don't respect the local culture. Their attitude itself shows that they are dishonest(don't respect the land and culture which has provided them food and shelter) people and they themselves prove that they are not fit to be here.

Dear one,
Karnataka is the only place there is no localize racisim. In all other cities, if don't speak local language or Hindi then they wont reply to you. In Karnataka, where ever you go, if know Hindi or English or Kannada they will help you and guide you. I accept that Auto reksha people take more money because of out-sider, they pay what ever they ask and dude this their mentality become that.
Even for Karnataka, Bangalore localites they are doing the same. For only silly Auto reksha's person don't dare to blame Karnataka. This is the only place in India you will get everything and every state people live peacefully. Bangalore become, every person come from other state they will settle here, bangalore has that kindness, un-like other state, if you speak in hindi/english they will help.
If you taking only rAuto reksha's problem then its not acceptable.

Before showing finger at others, you must correct yourself. Many northies, they need karnataka to stay, they want each and every facility but they dont respect the lands culture. In spite of that they are blaming the local people. Who told to stay here in karnataka, If you are unhappy with the situation, just go and sleep in your home town. For enjoyment and all you need Bangalore? Someone in above post written about talent of northies against kannadigas. If you were so much brilliant, why you people are begging here, Your brilliant ancestors would have opened many big MNCs like Infosys, Wipro etc. Why you are begging here? You came here insearch of job. You didnt got job in your home town? Why ?

I am also against charging extra amount to auto rickshaws. But it shows how you are familiar with locality. simple step to avoid that is to learn kannada and talk in kannada instead of rubbish English or your Hindi...

Mr krishnanand you said rightly they have come all the way to bangalore in order to get rid of their family and do stupid stuffs.We local kannadigas are very soft thats the reason they are able to come here one day we should have a war to make them go to their home town.They get good jobs in their home town yet they want to come and die in bangalore.They speak so bad of bangalore and kannadigas, they are rude and horrible people
Cost of living and living conditions has become worse in bangalore because of these outsiders especially north indians they are very very rude and arrogant people.They abuse the local bus conductors and bus drivers.Why they cant go back to their native.All trees are cut down in bangalore because of these non-kannadigas .Friends we should teach the non-kannadigas a lesson they should be sent out of karnataka all the way to their state.
Even in software companies these nonkannadigas rule and they treat the kannadigas so badly really we still have not got freedom we need to now fight against these non-kannadigas.
What a peaceful city our bangalore was now its only full of these non-kannadigas coming and settling down here.Totally frustrated and diasappointed i have become with these non-kannadigas.
