[Resolved] Kenstar Air Cooler — Broken and noisy Air cooler | |||
I bought a Kenstar Air cooler at JP nagar Croma on 16th April. Bill number SDF 02A[protected], amount paid by my son Ketan Tilak Kumar. Complaint: At Croma, they said they did not have the Air cooler in stock and that they would deliver the next day. We had no option of checking out that piece which we will be buying. They delivered a faulty piece of Air cooler. (It was either Croma or Kenstar people). It was making really Loud noises-yes...3-4 different kinds of noise.. After number of calls, the technician came home to check it out and said that the blower was broken; though I insisted that I do not want repair but want a new proper piece he said they will not give new piece but they will only repair….(???Why…) He put another blower and it was OK for 1 day. It again started making very loud noise. No normal person can sleep thru that noise. Now he says the motor is broken. They do not have the clamps or whatever... Now Kenstar people are cutting off my calls. Everyday , even without repairing or solving my problem, they are closing the complaint and everyday I am registering the complaint again saying that nobody has come and repaired or solved my problem. I must have made more than 100 phone calls from the time we bought it., ie from 16th April and the technician has come only twice and not even able to repair it. I paid full money without even getting the machine on that day thinking that Croma/Kenstar is reliable and I am getting this faulty machine. Why??? I have registered my complaint at Croma too. I have not recd any calls from them. Buying this Kenstar Air Cooler has caused me lot of pain and agony. I am a doctor by profession and I am spending so much of my valuable time in Just calling these people, daily, not once or twice but more than 10-15 times everyday. They don’t pick up my calls or they cut my calls after 2-3 rings. This leaves me only option of going to Consumer court. Was this information helpful? | |||

Kenstar Air Cooler — not deliver
hi i ordered a kenstar air cooler in may last, its have been so long what happen to my order my order no is IOF-[protected]. the amt charge to me is 8575 INR. u r not taking any intiantion this is my second reminder to u i[censored] dont have item availablity so pls refund the my money.49%

kenstar/air cooler — Faulty machine delivered
I got the air cooler CT 9924 on 12 APR 2007 at 7pm from Viveksbangalore, upon switching at home I found it is making high Noice.
gave the complaint next day I demanding the replacement but the company sent the service engineer after 24days after many follow ups. after repairing blower, again same problem occurred with more noise after running for 30min,
Again after 12days service engg came and replaced the blower.
Recently this year the cooler swing stopped working. I complained requesting free service as It is kenstar who is at fault for delivering the QC failed machine. The service manager Mr. Subramany bhat gave promise of looking into mater.
After many follow ups and complaints the service manager
not available. No one in the office gave me proper responsible
answers.The web site is also not available.
The ditto is happeing with my Kenstar washing machine, the service engg from videocone had come and promiced to come next day with proper spare but after 2 weeks nowhere to see,
If call the call center they promise but noting happens.
So It is very irresponsible both at quality control and service aspect. Once you buy you have to bear with their faulty machine and irresponsible service.
