micromax mmx310g usb modem can not connect bsnl2g sim to pc.it show red light and suddenly disconnected.please tell me the sollution.---d.r.k

i bought before 4 months,
I have been facing so many like other posted so far, Now that is worthless.
I could not reach the customer care centre

Connect the modem at the back side of the cpu, where usb ports are directly attached to motherboard. Dont connect the modem at any side or front ports. It will solve the modem detection problem, generic host problem and network problem. In my case, it's solved.
But, I am facing another problem. Network gets connected, but after one or two min, not opening any page. I first thought it might be network problem, but at she same time I used my laptop, and everything works just fine.
So, anyone???

I am Ssntanu Kumar, from Joda ORISSA. I am using bsnl 2g sim with 99 gprs PACK with mmx 310g data card. When I click connect it connect only for a few second and autometically disconnect and comes dial fail. 2ND time connect it comes "starting dial up" and constant. I can"t access net . So plz help me.

Hey guys actually i have the ultimate solution for this problem...actually the problem/defect is not in your mmx 310g usb modem neither in the sim you use...okay so lets get to the solution.
NOTE:THIS SOLUTION WILL ONLY WORK FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO GET A ERROR MESSAGE LIKE THIS "Generic host process for win32 server has encountered a problem and needs to close" before their internet connection gets disconnected .
So we have to disable this error message, so that we can get connected with mmx 310g for a long while

Solution:
(1)You have to just go to the following link and download the application and run it .

(2) After you run it it will show you a message like :Generic Host Error Problem has been fixed.
(3)You have to restart your pc/laptop and see if the message has gone or not ...If it hasn't then do not worry ...

NOTE :IF YOUR PROBLEM IS SOLVED AFTER THE RESTART .PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT THE 4TH STEP.THE 4TH STEP IS ONLY FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO STILL GET THE ERROR MESSAGE AFTER THEIR FIRST RESTART.

(4)After you have restarted your pc/laptop and have seen that the message hasn't vanished just run the application(which you have downloaded from the above site)
again and restart your pc/laptop.

And believe me If you follow the steps correctly the whole message will be gone :D

I purchased mmx 310g on 27th March'11 and when I noticed that every time the error message appeared, my internet connection was disconnected . But after solving the problem I continuously surfed Internet through my mmx 310g for 3 hours 38 minutes and 48 seconds ... isn't that great .? ;)

PLEASE TRY TO SOLVE THESE KIND OF SMALL PROBLEMS BY YOUR SELF .PLEASE DO NOT PUT UNNECESSARY COMPLAINS .THIS WOULD NOT ONLY GIVE MICROMAX A BAD NAME ...EVEN THE PEOPLE WHO WERE GOING TO BUY MICROMAX PRODUCTS, WONT BUY THEM AFTER READING THESE SILLY COMPLAINS

Micromax — disconnection of usb

hi i have bought a new micromax 3 g usb.i'm using airtel sim it disconnects in few seconds only pls suggest me what to do.

I hv connected the mmx device in computr but it shows no device. So plz anybody solve my problem.

i am also facing same problems -
1- NOT GETTING FAST SPEED
2- AUTOMATICALLY DISCOINNECTION
3- DOWNLOAD SPEED ALSO SLOW
4-VERY VERY IRRITATING SERVICE

i also have micromax 310g modem i m using it with bsnl 2g sim it shows 3g sign and 'h' a and after connected it shows 416 kbps speed but i get only 20-30 kbps data downloading speed and after 20-25 min i disconnect automaticly and when i insert bsnl 3g 128k sim it always shows intializing and after that shows no device please help, thank you, sorry for my bad english

Your Modem is showing correct ...there is difference between bits & bytes .
1 byte = 8 bits .

I have purchased MMX 310G with bsnl sim...when I connect it to my laptop the red light glows for 2-3 seconds but after that it goes off and nothing shows on my laptop. Shopkeeper told me that it supports autoinstallation but neither it gets detected nor the sound which comes from laptop that indicate that a device has been connected to pc. What should I do?

I had recently bought micromax bsnl usb modem mmx 310g .I spent 2,300Rs on it,and i am very sad to say that my money is wasted.i get a maximum speed of only 10kbps,and it usually gets diconnected after ever 10 minutes.i am unable to see videos and download softwares
