Dear sir,
I elder brother of Huzefa Palitanawala who had applied for the new passport application last year having the said file no F009390 has been closed without any prior notice or information. Huzefa had submitted the PP form to the officer(Mr. Azad in-charge of Taltala Area) of passport official few months back after being asked to submit the PP form. After submitting the PP form, huzefa waited for few months then enquired the passport office at 4 Brabourne road .The person at the enquiry counter intimated that huzefa will receive the passport in few days. A few days back on confrontation huzefa was flabbergasted to hear that his file was closed.
So I would like to know that what has happened to the case that the file has been closed after submitting the PP form & what needs to be done in order to complete the remaining formalities so that things get sorted out .Hoping a positive gesture from your side with advisable solution to do the needful at the earliest without getting anymore harassment & delays.

Thanks & warm Regards

Respected Sir,
I would like to inform you that, i had applied for passport on 11.12.2008, vide file no; A 092256 and i was faced police verification on 27.01.2009. During the verification DIB Officer were asked me to deposit some documents, than i were on 30.01.2009 submitted all required documents to the DIB Office at Chandannagar, Hooghly. The DIB Officer were sended my file to District DIB Office, Chinsurah on 02.02.2009, and till now my file is pending there.
I don"t know why the Chinsurah DIB Office are halting my file, even i am staying in Bhadreswar, Hooghly area and it is just about 32 K.M Far from KOLKATA and in my opinion the passport should be despatche these area in maximum within 3 month of application.
I am surprise that 4 month from passport application has been passed and in passport Enquiry site is only desplaying my file number, that the police report has not recieve.
So, i would request you to enquire the matter and try to provide passport as soon as possible. Thanks.
There is some serious problem with the DIB office at Chinsurah. My in law's police verification was done by Seerampore Intelligence on 11 March and they had forwarded it to Chinsurah immediately. When my inlaws (both sr ctzn) met DIB Chinsurah on[protected] he proudly informed them that he was a busy man looking after many important affairs and his office will take six more months to send the documents to passport office. There were many other people suffering the same agony.
