[Resolved] Mobile Phone - Videocon - V1655 — Touch screen of phone not working

This is a brand new touch screen phone of Videocon model V-1655. This problem started from fifth day of purchase. Touch screen becomes ineffective after 30 seconds and then phone is of NO use. (i) Many times option of 'Restore factory settings " actioned, however problem sorts out mometarily, but again occurs. (ii) Tell if any action can be done at user level, if not then nearby service center. This handset was purchased by me on 09 Mar 2010, with no mishandling till date. Pls expedite as it is affecting in my daily job work. Your toll free phone no as well as noida phone no which is supposed to be 24 * 7 is unanswered or busy. contact me on my e-mail address. Yes I do agree ...

I also purched the same product videocon 1655 ...
1) FM is not at all working
2)back light is not working... continously glowing
3) VideoCon claims it has 2.0 MP camara... but not evevn good as VGA
4)Battery life is just average
5)screen clarity is not good

company service center is worse ... even they don't respond .

yes even my touch screen is not working sometimes. its good to take it to the service center within the guarantee period. for me videocon hurt ed me a lot as this is my first first hand mobile that i purchased and it really broke my heart.

even i have brought the same mobile on jully 2010...i am facing allot of problems with this mobile tochscreen is not gud diffucult to msg also the glasss on the top of the screen is coming out and even headset is not working moreover the main sim slot is not working...every month i have to visit to service centre for da sake of this mobile...i request videcon people to stop this kind of products because o[censored] people the end user is suffering allot...please don't buy this mobile(V1655)...I don't have any idea about other products...

company service center is worse ... even they don't respond ...for every thing they ask us to go to service centre they don't even give a proper info also...I[censored] call to tool freee number they will service centre address and nothing else will be done...waste of calling to toll free no also...

Guys, Same prob with me too...in every 24 hours, the handset hangs on its own. Even it gets hanged while taling on phone and get switched off. Looking at earlier feedbacks, I feel it is no use talking to customer care and service center.

PLKS BE AWARE OF THE VIDEOCON PRODUCTS . THEY ARE GUD FOR NOTHING. BETTER TO PUR SOME MORE MONEY AND GO FOR NOKIA.
OR MICROMAX / SPICE IS BETTER OPTION.

Videocon — voice is not coming from 1st day of purchase of brand new phone

I purchase brand new videocon mobile from nanwani electronics ,sangli. .from 1st day m not getting voice of person from other side. The main function is nt working. When i shown it to shop they are not ready to replace the phone as the shopkeeper is taking very rudely and told me tht wil show to service center as its manufacturing faulty peace.
