I bought a pair of Mochi footwear three months back. Its hardly been used as i have other pairs of footwear. Still, it didn't last long. The sole came off and can't be used now. When you buy expensive footwear, you expect quality.

Mochi (mumbai) -the brand it self carries so much of prestige and comes with quality, recently i bought myself a pair of mochi ballerina's and seemed all nice and pretty well fitted but the day i wore it ...i got such severe shoe bites. the back covering of the shoes are so hard it has literally scraped of my skin from back while i walked i thought it usually happens whn u wear a new shoes, but never expected such horrible bites and zero wearing comforts...i hav dumped my shoes in the rack and shall never purchase any shoes from mochi...as i believe they lack in quality of making.
I bough a pair of Mochi footwear from their Hyderabad outlet in Sale. I did not use it immediately since I had other pairs. After about 6 months when I took it out for wearing, the upper layer came off. I somehow managed for full day in office but by evening the sole itself came off. So, my footwear did not last even for a day.
The price tag (still on the bottom) says its for Rs 890. And I bought it at 50% sale, so it costed Rs. 445 to me. My question - Is Rs 445 not enough to get a footwear which will last for more than a day?
Attaching the picture. So, the outside dark brown border is what is left from the entire brown base which came off today on first use. I wish I had taken before picture of this footwear.
But I do have a few more new pairs from Mochi. Will be careful to take before pictures before I start to use them.
I am a big fan of Metro shoes. Just for a change I tried Mochi, but the experience was really bad. Worst part, I have 3 more new pair of Metro shoes with me :(
