MTNL Mumbai — Inconsistent Triband service | |||
I am paying a premium to MTNL for the internet. I have a 2Mbps line and according to fair usage policy, i should get 1/8th download speed. that brings it to around 200Kbps. But for the last 2 months, there hasnt been consistent service from MTNL. if i dial 1500 or 1504, 7/10 times the person on the other side would speak so low that I have to disconnect or ask them to speak loudly. the remaining 3/10 they arent aware why I should be getting inconsistent service. 1504 is tech support and if they have no idea then its a shame. A significant number of times they have just that some work is going on. When it will be done or why is affecting me, no ideas about that. One incident the lady even told me to write a complaint letter and submit in the office to the head. It is totally impractical since the operating times start and end within any normal office times. Lunch times mostly they arent available. Height of shamelessness is when we angrily tell them that we would switch to much professional services like reliance or vodafone, they asked me to go ahead.
