[Resolved]  MTNL Mumbai Trump Mobile Service — Siphoning of Trump Talktime

I had sent a complaint to MTNL Vigilance through the Website on[protected], 00:07:15

"My Trump Balance was reduced by about Rs.50 on Mar.5 between Noon and Midnight, without being used.
I booked 2 complaints Nos. CC[protected] and CC[protected], but they were both closed as resolved!
I suspect MTNL employees of diverting funds from my account to theirs. Please Investigate."
The complaint reference number is 78232 for tracking above complaint.
Obviously, I do not expect MTNL to cheat its customers.
I am writing to you though the amount is small, as it could be part of a much larger Racket, and request you to ensure suitable action is taken at the earliest."

When I did not receive a reply, I sent email copies with a reminder to :
1. Shri Peeyush Aggrawal, Chief General Manager (LS)
2. Shri Bhim Singh, General Manager (Vigilance)
3. Shri Rakesh Tumane, General Manager (Finance)
4. Shri Satyapal Singh, General Manager (Central)

I finally received their clarification as under:

"From the attached logs, it can be seen that the subscriber has opted
for the bidding service for premium Dolphin/Trump numbers. For this
the user had logged on our homepage (http://mtnlmumbai.in/ ) and
selected the link for premium number bidding. After this a validation
key is sent to the subscriber on his mobile thro SMS. When he logs in
again with his username and validation key as the password, a sms from
[protected] is sent to deduct Rs.47/- as the charge o[censored]sing this
service.
Therefore the amount of Rs.47/- was charged to him for the usage of
bidding for premium numbers.

The matter rests with my clarification as under:

"I DID NOT BID FOR ANYTHING AT ALL, CAN YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?
You state:

I DID NOT LOG ON WITH USERNAME AND PASSWORD.
YOUR LOGS SEEM TO BE FABRICATED! I WOULD NOT ESCALATE AN ISSUE FOR RS.47, BUT I CANNOT ACCEPT SUCH DECEPTION!

my mobile no. is [protected] ; on 02-05-10 at 11.49 a.m. I made a call to no. [protected]. the duration of call was 41 seconds; the call cost was deducted by Rs. 9.20. It is sad and surprising, heartening to note the same. I . I want to put my grievance and complaint on record. Pl. refund the excess charges collected by You.

As per the information you have given, You made a call on [protected] on 2nd may 2010 at11.49 am from your mobile [protected] duration was 41 sec and you had been charged 9.20 rs for the same call, We would like to inform you that we have checked in our system it shows the dial number was [protected] which was eleven digit number that is the reason why you had been charged 9.20rs for that call.

I would like to say that i am almost 6 years old cutomer of MTNL MUMBAI .i and and proudlu saying thet MTNL MUMBAI is the best mobile and land line ide service provider in over all mumbai.
but face one issue from last thre months that is, i not able to talk with cutomer care to solve my query. first is there are more dely to accept cal from customer care.
i have recevied call cost of browsing internate in every minuite but sill i am not bowsing internate. why are you dedact my balance in every minite while iam not browising intrnate. please stop this dedaction of my balance as sson as possible.

1 Mtnl cutomer service not provide proper solution within customer reqired TAT

2 there are old and aged executive handled the all call without any knowledge.

3 toll free number are any time busy and disconnected automaticly

4 every execuitve have attitude that he working in goverment service thats why he not to need to understand our problem. he have talk less, un helpfull, attitude, and workingless. and also not making proper solution by them how this possible without any confirmation and such a knowledge.

5 every one executive depend on each other . he transfer every call to another executive to solve during customer call but customer not have any time to talk with them with his own and proper issue.

6 every solution must be done by only call executive and also he must have all knowledge of mtnl services.

The proble which have face all of customer of MTNL customer i have also face this problem.
