[Resolved]  Mts — Security Flaw in MTS Database

I am a customer of MTS Mblaze and have purchased an MBlaze on 28 January 2010 from a certified dealer (Mr. Bhavesh Solanki, Kensha Mobile, J M Road, Pune [protected]) in India. My MTS MBlaze was working perfectly fine for about 2 months with above-average speed. Then on 26 March 2010, I recharged the MTS MBlaze. Ever since, it stopped working.

Since then, I have been following up with the MTS India Call Center No. [protected] for a resolution, because when I tried to connect MTS Mblaze Internet, the pop-up says the user is not authenticated on the server.

Till date (17 April 2010), I must have made at least 20 calls to MTS for my problem, but it never got resolved. It is so frustrating, because even the supervisors (Spoke to 3 Supervisors at the Call Center - Names: Sujo, Randeep & Rohit) at the call centers were clueless on how to resolve my problem and have been giving me only empty promises since 26 March 2010. The problem they say was that my MTS MBlaze No. does not exist in the MTS Database!

What surprises me is that if my records never existed in the MTS central database system, how could I use the MBlaze for almost 2 months - isn't it a gross security flaw, given the stringent laws in India lately on usage of internet?

Each time I call the Helpline no., the only response I get is - "Sir, our back-end technical team is looking into the matter and we PROMISE that we will revert to you with a solution. Promises, EMPTY PROMISES is the only thing I got from them. This is the most unprofessional organization I have interacted with in the last decade - even the state run BSNL is not such a bum as much as the back-end people at MTS!

What's also surprising is that I even sent a mail on the India MTS Customer Care ID [protected]@mtsindia.in on 29 March 2010 and a follow-up email on the 30 March 2010, and have not heard a word from them yet!

Also, the dealer has given me a number of his, which he never responds to! Nobody picks up the phone. The dealer is as pathetic as the MTS MBlaze device!

Poor Service along with an extremely Lax Attitude is the feedback I have about MTS India. In case, anyone from MTS is taking this up seriously can please reply your comment on this with contact details and I will get in touch with them.

right absolutely right ... and i was thinking that mts is responding like this only on me.
i purchased mblaze also and getting bandwidth of only 55-100kbs (5-10 kbs downlonding speed) . and i thought mlaze is giving 3.1 mbs of bandwidth lol...

tuck mblaze .. . this company isn't going to last very long bro. if this problem persists.
good guys, you are atleast getting 55-100 kbps, but i am getting speed of 27 kbps, so you can imagine, how much i will be cursing MTS company.
MTS customer service is very bad and do not followup the customers and don't maintain proper customer records.

I am Prasanna from chennai. I purchased the MTS Mblaze from Rege enterprize -chennai delivered by mohan [protected] on July 31 2010. Actually mohan said that MTS as launched rs999 plan now and in their outlet this offer is special like until 30gb the speed is 3.1Mbps. Actually when I enquired with other dealers and customer care on the same day thay said that 3.1MBps is until 15gb and after that it will work at 144kbps. I asked mohan regarding this and also asked for demo, he said that our product work great when compared with our competitor like tata photon+ and reliance. Then the time is now 7pm and its too late and the offer is only valid until tonight so it is not possible to show demo and then if we need demo means the will not be no more valid on tomorrow. so he forced me to purchase that day itself.

Then after 15GB me spped ent down and working at 55kbps only. I enquired regarding this with that same person and he said that he will check and call back me shortly. I followed him and asked again about my issue he keep on said for more than 5 days he will resolve the issue and he had spoke to correct person to correct it but issue is not resolved.

I my selft contacted customer care and informed about this but they said there is no such offer so i asked them to transfer to higher manager. The agent said that manager is busy and they will call after 2 hours but they have not at all called me. Again I called after 2 days and said about my issue and regarding the call back but they have no records about my call. the customer service agent is not to professional and have technical idea.

Till today my issue is not resolved and that dealer Mohan is still saying the offer persists and he will resolve or correct it shortly.

Make sure before purchasing the MTS Mblaze from dealers are authorized and check the website before buying.
I am kannadasan from Bangalore. I bought MTS Mblaze on sep 2nd 2010. Fisrt problem is Activation, I kept on follwing up for 2 days to get it activate. I called to customer care of MTS minimum they take half an hour to reach them. secondly the speed. Previously I used dial up connections with airtel and Vodofone, Now MTS broadband is lesser than those dialups.. this is really pathetic.. When I call them up for the speed complaint they tried consoling me by telling to delete temp files, Clear cathce.. (all known by a basic computer user). I still kept calling.. finally after few days they disconnected my service on sep 14th.. After long time i reached them again telling my service was disconnected they told my dealer didn't submit my documents so you cannot avail the service.. I am again running behind the dealer now.. simply MTS sucks..
I have bought the MBlaze on 17th October 2010. within 1 week the shorcut on desktop stopped reading the Mblaze.exe file. i uninstalled the program from the contorl pannel and tried installing again. the error message appeares that, the file cannot be copied..it is by use ina another program. I called the customer care and they replied that the issue is not with modem. its with my brand new laptop which i bought a week ago.
Its been more that 45 days that I bought a MTS coonection, but still I havent received the Reebok shoes that I was supposed to get . And its very to weired to hear that ther is shortage from the Reebok side.
My experience with MBLAZE is horrible.

The service that the company provides is really very bad.Very poor service.I find lot of time wasting in speaking with the MTS Customer care executives and the resolutions each executives provide is different.


I have already thrown out a connection and by july when my balance expiry reaches, i have decided to throw away the second connection too.

Dear All,

My data-card speed is also pathetic now. Actually MTS BTS ( Base Trans-Receivers) are very limited in numbers, so every BTS have to cover a big area and so a large number of customerr, so the limited bandwidth with 1 BTS is divided among the users.

Now their customer base has increased to a big numbers, to they have to decrease speed of their old customer, to provide bandwidth to NEW customer. so nothing is wrong in it.

Worst customer care services.

Guys. I have met lot of issues once I bought MTS Data card. I do not have words explain my problems. My best suggestion is... Please do not buy MTS Data card...
