Today, I purchased a Nikon S3100 camera from a mall in Rajouri Garden from 'The Electronic Store" outlet. I paid INR 8500 for this camera.

After coming back to home, I checked the Nikon India website and they have mentioned that INR 6,950 is the Maximum Retail Price of this camera.

It means that shop cheated me INR 1550. What should I do now? How to get my money back?

    Dear Concerned Authority of Nikon Customer Care India /Asia

    I had bought new NIKON camera L 120 from the store (Impact Retail Private limited) at INDIA- Pune on 22nd May 2011. Service warrantee card number 70131534. Along with the camera memory car is received. Store sales man mentioned that this authorized 4 GB memory card is given with each new NIKON L120 camera.
    On very next day, I had visited the store & explained sales man that photo is not getting clicked. But salesman demonstrated that if the ‘Click button’ is pressed with lot of pressure then the photo gets clicked. Though the excessive pressure was required to be applied to click the photos, sales man mentioned that there is nothing abnormal with the CAMERA & excessive pressure must be applied.

    After about 8-10 days, I had again visited the store to complain the same issue of photo not clicking. Once again the salesman of the store demonstrated that photos can be clicked by putting the excessive pressure.
    On 15th July , I had been to EUROPE for FAMILY tour. I clicked about 600 snaps ( which includes few video files ) by putting that excessive pressure. I was facing another problem .In one click, two photos were getting captured. BOon 5th day of the tour, I realised that only 40 photos can be viewed in the preview of the camera. At the same time photo’s were not getting clicked at all by the CAMERA. It was really disappointing because all those memorable moments captured in hundreds of photos were not visible.
    After reaching INDIA, I checked if the photos can be viewed by inserting memory card in LATOP. But I could view only 40 photos in LAPTOP, which were shown in preview of the CAMERA. Remaining files were in some unknown format & those were not getting opened as images.

    Finally I visited NIKON service centre of Pune. I desperately wanted to get those remaining 460 odd photos recovered. But service centre informed me that they cannot recover those photos. They also informed me that because the CAMERA is not working they cannot find out if this issue is due to ‘defect in CAMERA’ or ‘defect in memory card’. ( You can refer to Invoice no 8100196 from Nikon Authorized Service Center Pune – India )

    • When I raised this as a major concern with the NIKON Service centre manager , he gave me a contact number of service centre of memory card & asked me to contact them.

    • Service centre of Verbatine memory card had explained me that this issue is due to embedded system of the CAMERA, but they would try to recover some photos/video file. They had send the card from to their main service centre which is at Delhi. . Please refer attached scanned copy of receipt given by the memory card service centre.
    After about 10 days , service center of the card could recover almost all snaps but the video files could not be recovered . I was very happy & impressed with the help of service centre of memory card
    In this case, I would request you:
    - Please check if above defect is generic for L120. If yes, please take appropriate actions in your manufacturing & support centres so that NIKON customer satisfaction & image will not get impacted.
    - Please train the NIKON service centre manager ( Jatin Surana ) of India- Pune, to be knowledgeable , sensitive & sincere towards the issues reported by NIKON customers. I found him absolutely insensitive & casual towards the customer issues. I feel like cheated particularly from the behaviour & attitude of Jatin Surana .

    - Since my CAMERA is not working & the problem had been reported with the store on very next day of the purchase , I request you to provide replacement of the CAMERA.

    Sir in the month of Jun 2011, I purchased a coolpix camera from Muzafffarnagar (Rawat Melody Palace). After one month use, its screen got some black spots. I immediately contact customer care and representative advised me to send the same . As I am serving in remote area of North East Sates hence I send the same to shop keeper. i.e. Muzaffarnagar (UP) in the month of Mar 2012. The shop keeper returned me the same in the month of May ensuring that the problem has been rectified. But when I started to use the camera I observed that the problem is still exist.       sir;
      for a long time i had been saving the money to buy a camera. It was one of my dreams that fulfilled when i bought it. i have paid more than rs.5000 on bought on electronic camera named NIKON L 22 ( serial[protected] on 29th november 2010.after one week the system got strucked.so i have gone to the particular shop and enquired about the reason.they have told me to that the display of the system has some damages.They have asked me to contact the head office 19th december 2010.But no replay is found from the head office.I was totally dissapponted because the company asked me pay the service charge.The system has got the warranty period till one year.I dont expect such kind of decision from the authority.It was an expected decision.still i have great faith and hope in this company.
      Hence kindly listen to my appeal and do an approppriate action.

          I had bought a VGS-701 Mobile through times internet ltd. Though the company mentions you can download phone suite from the net its not been possible till date . I have sent them a mail before but no reply for that also.           my mobile VOX kick k7 display screen got blurred and there is no sevices available in karnataka .Can you give the service numbers in and around hubli to my email such that my problem is resolved

          Company call center service is very poor don't have courtesy to attend call and after attended without listening costumer call discontinued. My sub order no[protected] product received by company is faulty company says go to service center and repair the product is this is the policy of company, wasting my time money I think I should do it legal way

            THEY HAVE GIVEN ME ORDER BOOKING # [protected] ON THE SAME DATE & TIME AND ASSURED ME THE DELIVERY WITHIN 13 DAYS.

              I had brought a Nikon L10 Digital Camera on 15-AUG-2008 from Big Baazar, Panipat. This product came with a warranty of 1 + 1yr . I have given the product for repair since the camera went dead.Because i have few warranty time now.

              REDIFF.COM , Nikon L 16 Camera — Faulty Camera

              Dear Sir,
              I have purchased Camera L 16 ( nikon ) near Diwali, Date 23 /10/08, Invoice number 08/s26 throug hcredit card . The camera delivered to me was defective . I have retur the camera to comany ( its agent Mahavir Computer ( KK CAMERA ZONE), 586/16, Lokhandwala Bldg, 2nd floor, Station Road, kurla(W) Mumbai, mobile number [protected]) The agent was very harsh in word and refuses to replace my camera . I have paid the amount and return the camera . Now i got harrasment .

              Nikon Camera — Efficient sales and defective products in EZONE

              E-Zone Manager at Milan Mall (Mr. Vijay Chavan ) is not a man of words. He assures you of the product and after payment does'nt bother to check if the product has reached the customer on the said date.
              On 26th Jan I had pucharsed a 32 inch LCD Panasonic and 2 digital camaras( Nikon and Kodak).
              LCD TV reached my residence at 11 PM while I was asleep after 4 days...( after making several calls for 4 days) Nikon camara Tripod stand was defective that reached me after a week of several complaints.

              On 28th Feb I wanted to redeem the Voucher ...on selecting a Item and getting to the counter, the sales staff says that I have to purchase a single Item of Rs 2000/- to redeem 1 voucher of Rs 500/-.
              This was not told to me on the day of purchase. On the day of purchase Mr. Vijay chavan (Store Manager) told me that I get a benifit of Rs 500 each on each product and so I purchased the same . This is how you get cheated with sweet sales talk and hidden cost. (I was not told that the vouchers has to be redeemed against purchase of Item on payment of Rs-2000/-) So beaware on purchases of schemes in EZONE.
              I will never Buy any product in future from EZONE also inform others of the same.

              Nikon Camera - L10 model — Service Complaint

              I had brought a Nikon L10 Digital Camera on 21-Oct-2008. This product came with a warranty of 1 + 1yr ( the second year warranty is only for labour cost and parts replacement is charged). I have given the product for repair since the camera went dead. The service centre guys after analysing the camera have said that the Main PCB is damaged and the replacement cost is 7000 Rs approximately. Which is absolutely illogical considering the camera cost me only 4500Rs. The company claims that 4500/- was an offer price hence should not be considered for comparison. But my argument is how on earth can a mere PCB cost 7000/- and the company is taking the customers for a ride. And this is absolute daylight robbery. I do not have any problems paying for the spares, but the cost is absolut frivolous and needs to be attaended to.
              Please do the needful.

              For a long time i had been saving the money to buy a camera. It was one of my dreams that fullfiled when i bought it. I have paid more than Rs 5000 and bought on electronic camera named NIKKON L 22 on 29th nov 2010. After one the system got strucked. So i have gone to the particular shop and enquired about the reason they have told that the display of the system has got some damages. They have asked me to contact the head office. Hence i wrote the letter to the head office on 19dec 2010.But no replay is found from the head office it was totally disappointed because the company asked me to pay the service charge . The system has got the warranty peroid till one year. I don't expect such kind of decision from the authority. It was am unaccepted decision still i have great faith and hope in this company

              Being professional artist I have been using nikon camera from my college days i.e. since 1983. Myself purchased nikon coolpix 510 dizital camera last month from chandigarh and appricaite the product but the case supplied with the camera is not worthy. It, s not convenient to carry the camera alongwith this case. The cemera did, t easily fit in it and one have to carry two belts all the times one with camera and other with the case.

              As a reputed company yours and looking positive response i have to say that i have purchased a nikon coolpix camera L-22 from Daltonganj on 19.05.2010 . The performance and quality of picture was very good but i regret to say that on 14.06.2012, while taking picture the battery exhausted and the camera did not shut down properly and the shutter remain open . After that i charged battery and again wanted to take picture but the camera did not work as there is no signal of power on in the camera and shutter remaind open .

              I approached the authorised service centre of nikon at Ranchi on 22.06.2012 but they refused to repair the same by asking that the particular part is not available at our centre and the cost of repairing will come about Rs.3800/- . I think they have no idea about this kind of problem .

              I have purchased a Nikon coolpix Camera No 70119846 dated 30/Jan/2010 from your dealer Nanthilath G mart Thiruvananthapuram Kerala India with 2years(1+1) warranty. It is used below 10 occasion as an amateur purpose like my daughter dance program photography and handled by me only, most of the time item placed in my Almirha. After One year camera display shown a vertical bright line throughout the on position, but camera working with line and picture quality very poor. Camera repaired by your authorized service centre Ernakulam, Kerala through the collection center (trivandrumCredenser NCC20, OOttukuzy, tele.[protected] dated 16/July/2011. Display complaint and they have repaired(display changed) and service cost collected from me Rs 3700.00 during the warranty period. After warranty (2 Years)period again problem camera lens automatically closed and not working. Again contacted the collection centre and camera sent to the authorized service centre at Ernakulam dated on 13/April/2012 through Credenser. After one week they contacted and told me service cost Rs 2700.00 without any Guarantee for working properly. thus the fact that actual camera cost 7800.00 + 1st repair cost Rs 3700.00 already spent Rs 11500.00, another Rs 2700.00 not affordable, if I spent total Rs 14200.00 not worth due to non guaranteed service. So I requested to the service people, second service not required and returned my camera without any service.
              Very much I am feeling that and humbly request you to service centre collected amount (warranty period) of Rs 3700.00 returned and without any cost you willbe given to me a new camera for the same or higher with guarantee or to be repaired free of cost with one year guarantee.

              Sir, I have a Nikon Camera S52. In Feb 2013 the battery case got damaged.I went to one of your service centre at Ranchi (Cinema Cinema Service centre). They got it repaired. But during delivery I checked and found that my memory cards that I had been using namely SANDISK 2 GB and KINGSTON 4 GB stopped working. The service Engineer named Mr.Ranjeet argued with me very rudely and tried his best to put all blames on me saying it might be defective before handing over to service centre.He further added, "your problem was battery case and that has been changed. We are not responsible for this new problem.It seems motherboard is defectice and you will have to pay all the expenses for the replacement of this motherboard." I said "My memory cards were well accepted by my camera that I can very strongly say as there are some snaps taken at your service centre on the day I came to handover my defective (battery case) camera. And that time you had told me that after replacement of defective battery case software will be updated" . And that time Mr.Ranjeet had given me the estimated cost of around Rs.1600/-( Battery case + software update + General cleaning)..He saw the snaps taken by himself on the first day by my camera which were still in the memory cards and then only he took back the camera for further checking with long face. He finally called me on 22.04.2013 and handed over the camera. I checked it in his centre only and found that 2 GB SANDISK memory card worked but 4 GB KINGSTON did not work.I again made complaint. This time his reply was, " S52 model does not support 4 GB memory card." I objected since I had been using 4 GB KINGSTON since last two years.He didnot accept my point. I asked him to give me in writing that S 52 model does not support 4 GB memory card. He was not ready to do that.He asked me to talk to NIKON CUSTOMER CARE Toll Free No. [protected]. And they again forwarded the call to certain expert at GURGAON (INDIA). That expert from GURGAON asked me to refer the USER MANUAL page No.112 where it says only SANDISK, TOSHIBA and PANASONIC 4 GB memory cards are tested and approved by the Company for use in this camera. As now I am having KINGSTON 4 GB memory card at present, I stopped the matter. But I will get a new approved memory card and will check with my camera.This is my first interaction with NIKON SERVICE CENTRE and it has shaken my faith on NIKON, so renowned International Company.Is there any standard criteria to setup a NIKON service centre ? I have some doubt about it in this matter at least for Ranchi Service Centre . NIKON should take necessary action.

They have told me to repair the Camera L610 will take for 4-5 days and they were booked the Service Order Number CHN-007246 dated 04.09.2013. And I asked your authorised dealer why you are taking so many days to rectify your brand. They told me after registering the complaint only they will get the spares / component from the factory.

              After 5days your service centre person called me to collect the camera, then I went to your authorised dealer to collect the camera. By that time while checking the camera condition is not working properly and they have requested to come and collect the camera on the same day by evening. Then I went there by evening and tanke few snaps at the shop inside itself and collected my L610 model camera since it was working properly. After returning to my home I was downloaded the snaps which was already taken.

              I got shocked because of the snaps serial was very much difference from Number DSCN00229 to DSCN077166. This means it was confirmed that they are not changed the new spare/component. Event though you are spending lot of efforts to service your valuable customers to provide good service like this Authorised Service Centres is totally damaging/spoiling the GoodWill of the Company name and Image.

              We are trusting the Nikon Company Brand Name, but you have to look in to this type of complaints when we are brought to your notice. Hence you are requested to kindly give a necessary instructions to the above Chennai Authorised Service Centre to correct my Camer Model L610.

              2o days back camera was gving some problem with the lens .There is some mechanical problem and its lens is not

Yesterday I faced a problem related to memory card which I got from camera box in offer. Whenever I am going to capture a shot the camera is showing a message " this card can not be read ". I talked to the dealer but they was not replacing it, I also talked to the collection centre of Nikon service centre but I got the same negative response from there. Within 5 months of purchase and card is not working. No one is taking the responsibility . I don't know what to do...plz do something and solve my problem.

                This is regarding my Nikon Digital Camera (Model: S200), I bought this Camera and had an impression that this is the best brand among all other Digicam brands and it provides best services, but soon my misconception was clear.

                I bought it in February, 2008 from Laxmi Nagar dealer with the bill and two years' extended warranty. After 1.5 years, all of a sudden when I was Using the camera, it's lens got stucked and it, didn't turned on again. I was worried and thought to show it to an authorised service centre.

                I, went to Nikon Okhla Service Centre and the representative asked me to leave the camera and he will tell about the estimates of the repair cost and will call himself. He didn't call up, after waiting for his call for two weeks, I went to the Cervice centre to know what happened. I was shocked to hear, that representative says that your camera is totally damaged, he says that its lens is damaged, processor is damaged and repair cost will be Rs 8,000/- And also asked me the service charges. Why that person took Rs 275/- and that too he didn't repair anything. And that person told me that buy a new camera in he can arrange a new camera in less price.

                As per my understanding, that person has replaced all the good parts of the camera. (Lens, processor etc). He kept the camera with him for some days.It was a minor fault. I have seen people dropping their camera in water or on land and got it repaired without any cost, My camera didn't fell anywhere, it was in my hands, nothing was cracked, nothing happened to it, just the lens was not going in. And one of our friend has faced similar problem and got it repaired from Gurgaon service centre without any cost and problem.

                This is total murder of trust of customers which Nikon Service Centre did with me.

                Nikkon Digital Camera S200 model — Warranty period

                I bought a digital camera, S200 model of Nikkon make in Apr 2008. I bought the product with 1 yr gurantee and an additional year of extended warranty. In Aug 2009, the auto adjust arrangement of the camera was spoiled and I approached the Nikkon authorised service centre for service.

                I lost the warranty card but have all the details of the product like the invoice, manuals and the package indicating the model no., year of manufacturing, product identification no., batch no., place of manufacturing etc..

                Despite producing all the information for tracing the product details, the concerened people at the service centre refused to alter the piece for not producing the warranty card.

                Request to guide me in this regard. The product was manufactured in Jan 2008.

                i bought nikon aw 130 few months ago it features say water proof 30ft and shock proof to 2ft or some thing, i just used twice in swimming pool with my selfistick, now this time when i got in swimming pool it started fooging, by passing no time i switched it off and put it a side, after visiting customer care they told me that the stick attaching slot has damaged, it will take 6/7 days to check whether it will get covered in warrenty or cost something, after 6 days i call them and they told me that it will cost around 10, 000 for repair, mother board damaged lens damage, i buy it for 16000 and repair cost 10, 000 wtf what if the stick attaching slot is of low quality due to which all this has happened i didnt dropped it didnt do any thing how all this dappened dont know, just suggesting please dont buy this product they are not of good quality as nikon says about it.

                  I place an order for Nikon Digital Camera L19 to Ava Merchadising on 10/12/09, one of their executives committed that the product will be delivered in 04~05 days then after 04~05 days when i called for the product delivery status, i came to know that it will be delivered in 14~21 days, i am shocked & surprised how AVA is making fool of common people.I called up so many times to them but no body is paying heed to our requests.This is totally unprofessional company & their committents are totally false.The product is not delivered till date neither I know that when the same will be delivered

                    On Indiatimes online shopping, I have paid for a Nikon Coolpix P60 Digital Camera (Order No.[protected] on Sept 23, 2009 - but till now (Oct 12, 2009) the product is not delivered to me yet - according to the ad the product should delivered within 7 working days. I have call at your given phone nos. on customer care service, but no response found after ringing 20/25 minutes. Also you don't respond my mail. If you don't have the product - plz. refund my money I will looking for other options.

                      Today,I went to buy Nikkon digital camera and there was a scheme launched by relaiance digital for assured gift,after billing they are telling me a story to buy one more product only then they will offer a assured gift.

                      This misleading promotions are forcing and compulsory buying for the products.This should be banned or highlighted under some conditions.

                      This is all marketing/Sales tactics but this will dent the image of Reliance.

                      Stop this Diwali Assured Scheme.

                          Nikon L 16 Camera was bought from B R Tandon Photo Studio, Civil Lines, Allahabad, UP which is under warranty. The Screen suddenly stopped displaying. When contacted the retailer, he accepted the complaint and took the camera to get it repaired from Nicon Agency on 07.07.2009 and commited to get the repairing done within 15 days. When enquired after 15 days it was told that the LCD/ Circuit is damaged which is not covered under warranty and it will cost around Rs 1, 500. Till today it is not repaired and I'm told that the part to be replaced is not available with the Nicon Agency/ Dealer. Kindly help as it was bought by the Dept Of Genetics and Plant Breeding for taking Photographs of crops being grown in the field. The cropping season is passing by and the project is heavily suffering.
                          I also had a similar camera.as taken by Dr.John anurag...and within a year i had the same problem, when contacted wit dealer in delhi, he said it'l cost me some 2, 800rs..so thought it would be better not 2 get the camera repaired cause da dealer was not agreeing 2 get it repaired in da warranty..since it has not been a year since i brought it...so i hope this kind of matters should be looked into and taken well care of...

                          Nikon L 16 Camera is not been repaired by the dealer in Allahabad, which is under warrenty. Earlier same complaint was registered which is still not been attended.
                          I purchased a CoolpixS210 for my daughter. She had the camera for 3 months before she used it for the first time. The first use the camera broke showing Lens Error. The camera is in immaculate condition. They have had the camera for over 1 1/2 months for repair in their Melville plant and the status is parts hold. I cannot get through for over a week to speak with a technician or representative. I will tell anyone I see in the store that is even considering a Nikon purchase not to buy!!

                            Dear Sir,

                            I brought a Nikon camera coolpix L20 from Nehru place shop- computer planet for Rs 8400/-.

                            Earlier I was using Kodak camera of 6 megapixels. First time I brought Nikon product and had such a bad experience.

                            Photo clarity of every picture is very bad as every picture blurs, I thought Nikon is a good brand and an international level product so must have better quality than Kodak and this one is also 10 megapixels. But its quality is worst than even 2 megapixel camera found in general phones.

                            I am highly dissatisfied with the quality of pictures and I send some pictures for their reference as well, which they replied it is a limitation of camera, one of my friend have sony camera of sony of 7megapixel which he brought for 7.5 thousand, there is huge difference in clarity.


                            Please guide me and tell me what steps can be taken against the company as i am feeling cheated and as it is a dead end product for me as not serving any purpose. I want you to either get my money refunded or provide the alternative solution if I can upgrade it with better products of Nikon Cameras.I have all the necessary documents, bills etc with me.

                              Dear Sir,

                              I reside in Baroda, Gujarat and 3.5 years back I bought a flat at below address
                              A-3/210 Chandragupt Flats, Harni Road, Vadodara -06.

                              I bought the flat with the elevator service, The elevator which was installed in the flat was from a make named NIKON ELEVATORS. This elevator has not been functioning properly since last day 1. Either some of the parts get faulty or something or the other goes wrong. The level of the lift is not maintainted and there has been numerous instances where people have got stuck in the lift and it was a big amount of mental torture to get them out of that DABBA.

                              I have contacted the local sales people numerous times to come and service the lift regularly, but I dont see any technical person coming and doing that, A guy comes in and oils the ropes and goes away, no leveling or anything done.

                              Lastly after 3.5 years today I decided to search the INTERNET with that name and found the main office number, when I talked with the owner MANOJ SHAH, I found that the builder has not paid him full payment and so he is not taking any interest in the maintenance of life.

                              As a consumer, I am not concerned with who payed and who did not payed, as a matter of fact, the residents of the society paid their hard earned money to buy this flat and now the lift is not working.

                              Its more like a danger box for everyone, which can stop at any time and kill any one.

                              I dont know what to do now, but this is a harassment to the consumer.

                              Its very true. The lift is basically a DANGEROUS DABBA. Where peoples may get stuck. But the lift authorities are hardly concerned with the same.
                              I reside in Bangalore and we do have the same issues with the NIKON ELEVATOR. Further to that there is only one concerned person for the Elevator, Mr. Naik, and he has the excellent habbit of switching off his mobile whenever we have any problems.'
                              No one is there to address the issues.

                              Similar incidence has happend with us. Our Building is having 34 flats with 2 NIKON Lifts fitted.
                              There are several brekdowns. Our Builder is having contact with NIKON Elevators, hence without knowing us he is getting lift repair and then charges to Flat owners the sum. (Though on the NET, the warranty is given for 7 years for NIKON LIft, we have pay the amount from our pocket every year for repair. Can any one from Nikon Lift explain us the truth.

                              Some one here has mentioned Mr. Nayak. He is the front man for the owner of this company called Nikon. The lift Licesinging authority is playing along with this owner of Nikon and looks like for grtification in money and kind. I do not have the time and energy to go the consumer forum for a redressal. I dis speak to the owner... Manoj Shah. simply sounded like a goon on the phone and threatened not to service the lift if made a noise about the lift quality... Looks like a lot of consumers are helpless... will the govt look at this issue at all?
                              I agree with the comments made on Naik... is a slippery caracter. They commit something and then at the time of delivery they do a very bad job... they keep giving excuses. The quality of lift is suspect. Manoj shah the owner is also not reachable most of the time and is only worried about the money...                               First of all my humble request to everyone never
                              ever get Nikon lifts installed. They are just minting money and least bothered
                              about the customer satisfaction and service. We have got the lift installed
                              almost more than a year and still fighting for the licence and the nice thing
                              is every time you can call them you get to hear a new story. The blame will be
                              on each and every person involved in providing the licence and the best part is
                              there is some govt official who has been transferred and he has not been
                              replaced with a new person even after 6 months. They think that we are foolish
                              people to believe them and the every
                              time you ask Mr Naik speak
                              in such a way as if we are going to get the licence the same day evening. I
                              don't think they can survive with this kind of service in the market for long
                              time where they are cheating people by taking their money. In between they said
                              they had kept some materials in the building and its stolen and we have to bear
                              the cost. The room was locked and how can it be stolen, I feel these are the
                              multiple ways they have found to make money. The only way is to help other
                              people by giving the review like this so that they never even think of Nikon.

Firstly they promised to complete the entire process of removing old lift and installing new lift in week time, but its been more than a month but its still not fixed. I wouldnt have worried much had I seen the regularlity in their work. But they were not regular at all, were bunking after every 2 working days(never worked on Saturday and Sunday). People in our apartment are struggling a lot because of their service(Old age people who needs to climb 5, 6 floors). Workers who come for work, if you ask something they will simply say, talk to our company not to us. Highly irrreponsible company. Last time when I checked with the company owner, He said even you deleled our payment so what is wrong if we delay your installation. (Seriously, due this money demonetisation, nobody is having cash, but this company was so money minded that they didnt even thought of suffering of people). I believe, they could have earned some respect if they could have completed the work, but now, I am 200% sure that I along with the people staying in my apartment will reccommend Nikon to anyone.

                              Hi, I am staying in Oxford Studio, Bangalore. We had replaced the old lift with the new lift( only controller and car) and Nikon Elevators had taken up the task of doing so. We had made to an agreement that payments will be made in 2 installments. The 1st installment was paid but the 2nd installment was due and it was agreed to that once the materials are delivered the remaining payment will be made. But due to some issues the payment was delayed for which the work was also delayed. We cannot blame Nikon Elevators personnel for this. The new lift was installed within 2 days of making the payment. The new lift is installed and is working fine and the service is also good. I would personally recommend Nikon Elevators and their customer service is also good.
                              Never go with Nikon elevators. We fought in consumer court and arrest warrant has been issued by court against Mr. Naik and is out on bail

                                  I placed a Nikon D40 SLR camera on Indiatimes online shopping site on 02nd Jan, 08. I paid through a ICICI bank cheque. The total value of the order Rs.7785.00. The money was debited from my account on 7th Jan 08. After all the drama of amount received and amount verified, next comes the hardest part "Delivery".

                                  I started to call the customer care enquiring about the product after deduction of money from my ICICI account, I got a mail mentioning that the product is not available due to "Out Of Stock" and hence the order is being cancelled.

                                  When I placed the order it was clearly mentioned on the site that the product is 'in stock' and also still at the site (www.shopping.indiatimes.com) the same product is available for sale and it is indicated the product is 'in-stock'.

                                  Now I am waiting for refund from two weeks and the customer care people say that " It will take some time" for them to refund.

                                  The problem that Indiatimes is not at all bothered about all this.

                                  MY REQUEST TO ALL ONLINE BUYERS IS THAT -- THEY SHOULD PREFER 'CASH ON DELIVERY' METHOD RATHER THAN PAY IN ADVANCE THROUGH CREDIT CARD.
                                  My strong feeling is that the product price has been mentioned wrongly or the product price would have gone up since it was posted. The merchant is reluctant to honour the commitment and Indiatimes go hand in hand with the seller. The money thus received can be utilised as a temporary working capital for 30-40 days.                                   I place an order for two products on Indiatimes online shopping site on 09th Jan, 08. I paid through my credit card. The total value of the order Rs.7857.00
                                  Though one of the two was delivered on 12th itself, the other one was not delivered till date. Then I called the customer care today 18/01/08 and found that the stock was 'out of stock' and hence the order is being cancelled.
                                  When I placed the order it was clearly mentioned on the site that the product is 'in stock' and also when I checked to-day (18/01/08) at the site (www.shopping.indiatimes.com) the same product is available for sale and it is indicated the product is 'in-stock'.
                                  Now I have to wait for the refund to come which will take another two to three weeks and with my continous follow up.
                                  The problem is I have to pay this amount to the bank as credit card bill payment is due now or else I have to pay interest. Indiatimes is not bothered about all this.
