Sir, I was demand a camera from HS18 I was demanded s3600 but i was received S32. May i request to u please replace my product, send my product those i was demanded. ye refund my money those i pay for this product. Those i was collects is s32. i was pay S3600 those cost rs 7227. But i received s32 this product cost rs 6800 (approx). may i requested to take an early action.

    Here is a copy of a review i wrote on Googleplus for this particular service center in Coimbatore (Name: Camera Service Spot. Address: 387, 7th Street, Cross Cut Road, Gandhipuram, 641012 Coimbatore. Phone:[protected] /[protected] Well where do i begin. The only reason I am writing this review is so that any other person thinking of going there knows better than to make that mistake. I gave my 80-200 f2.8 AF-D with a push pull mechanism for focusing. I happened to drop the lens and the push pull mechanism got stuck thus not allowing me to focus anywhere other than infinity. Now one day my friend was heading to the Canon service center in Coimbatore and i handed over my lens to him to give it in to this Nikon service center (which is right next to Canons SC). He came back with a document (proof of my having deposited the lens with them) which read 80-200mm f4.5-5.6 D and i naturally freaked out because the difference is obviously a huge one between an f2.8 and a variable aperture f4.5-5.6 lens so i called them up. When i stated to this woman on the phone that there was a mistake she said oh that's no problem as if that piece of information hardly mattered. Well, ok! Now the major part of the problem started. It was supposed to take around a month to fix according to them. No news from their side so I called them a month later and the same woman picked up the phone and told me it hadn't come back to them and that she would call me in two days. She didn't call as she had promised so i called her and she said exactly the same thing again. And again and again and again every time i called her, it was absolutely ridiculous! This went on for 6 months (you might be wondering why i didn't just go to the store in Coimbatore if I was only in Ooty but that's besides the point!). I was told that my lens was being fixed in Chennai (apparently) but when i asked this woman for a number of somebody i could call in Chennai she point blank refused to help me out! Utterly ridiculous again! Also this lady couldn't speak good english nor do i think she understood too much so i could never have a meaningful conversation about the whereabouts of my lens, neither was she thoughtful enough to pass it on to someone who could perhaps have a conversation with me in english! And to combat this language barrier (which shouldn't really exist if you are an authorized dealer) i handed over the phone to some of my friends who spoke Tamil but to no avail, in the sense that she had the same excuses everytime, the same old i will call you sir and tell you in two days.But even then all this rudeness and ridiculous behaviour on their part would have been overlooked by me if at the end of the day i got my beauty of a lens back in good condition and fixed up again. BUT BUT! And now i come to my main complaint with them, after keeping my lens for over 6 months (without me knowing its whereabouts and condition) it had NOT BEEN FIXED!!! And to make matters worse they wanted to charge me 3000rs for it!!! Un--believable! And the most unfortunate part of this was that i wasn't there again to pick up the lens from the store, it was a friend who knew nothing about camera's or lenses and he had no idea it wasn't fixed so he payed up. AWFUL excuse for a service centre, took 6 months to return my lens, wouldnt tell me where it was, didn't fix the lens in all that time, returned it with a pretty high cost. BEWARE of incompetency! They are prime examples of it.

      sir/madam, this is to bring into your notice that i have been humiliated by the service provider in shimla (arishiya enterprises) regarding the dealing hand of my nikon P520 Camera.I was not attended properly, in fact was discouraged for the complaint board approach.I seriously want you people to know about the severity of grievance and the way these franchise people harass the customers which no otherless will dis hamper your reputed respected expectations of product value across the globe.This particular message is to let you people know the shortcomings in the systemic way of dealing the customer support which should not make the buyer feel unsatisfied for his money's worth.         I had purchased nikon's electric chimney on 26th April, 2013 from Allied Appliances, Ambala Cantt vide From the very beginning we are facing a great problem about the light and working of chimney.We have done complaint about this to the shopkeeper from where we had purchased this chimney but all in vain.from last 5-6 months, the problem is going on and not yet resolved.We are completely dissatisfied from the product and the service provider too because he has kept us in dark that he has already done complaint to the company on our behalf . So now its a kind request to resolve the issue at earliest.

          I bought this camera on 29/01/2014. Used it just once in March when we went for outing. After few days when i tried to put on the camera it was not getting switched On. I went to the shop from where I had purchased it (E-Zone- Pune. The shopkeeper told me to go to Nikon service center. When i checked with them they said the battery is dead n they do not give any replacement for that & told me to talk to the shop peson from where it is purchased. Even they did not help me in this case & said there is no warranty for the battery. I read it on warranty card & its true that there is no warranty for battery. But what faulty products is Nikon selling. Just used the camera once & the battery is dead. for a new battery i need to pay Rs.1500 which is not at all fair. feeling as if it was mistake to opt for Nikon Camera..

            Dear Authorities, 1. I am an officer serving in the regular army, presently deployed in Arunachal Pradesh. 2. This complaint is pertaining to Nikon Service center, Pusa road, Karol bagh, New Delhi. I had had some problems with my camera as it stopped functioning due to reasons unknown. 3. As I was on leave, residing in greater noida, I decided to take the camera to the service center. There, I showed the camera to the expert (if that's what they really were), who told that I have dropped it in water and the warranty doesn't hold good anymore. The lady sitting next, added on to the expert comments, saying that it is sea water. I was shocked as they just fiddled with the camera and decided that it has been mishandled. 4. To this I replied, that I am posted at a place which is humid and witnesses rainfall 9 months a year, however I also use silica gel to take utmost care of my equipment. 5. They convinced me somehow to leave the camera, with them stating that warranty has anyhow lapsed, however will try and fix it and let you know about the cost. Same evening I received a call stating the total cost for repairs would be Rs. 12181. I was shocked and surprised. How can I spend (throw in) my hard-earned money for a stupid reason. Why do they give a warranty after all, if they only have to conclude for no reason that it has been mishandled, I fail to understand. 6. Those concerned are requested to take necessary action as it has become very easy for such good big companies to extract money from their customers. They even broke the battery lock, didn't say a thing, this I only noticed in the customer copy, with all vague initial observations, such a shame. I seriously can't imagine how somebody can show such a feign behaviour. Had I known that the product cannot sustain the weather conditions as we see while serving in army, I wouldn't have bought it. 7. An urgent action is requested, as the negative attitude of a few employees has spoilt the name of such a reputed company.                 I have visited your Authorized service center in 7th street, Gandhipuram, coimbatore...It's one of the worst serivce center i have visited, Actually
                the problem in my camera is the shutter mirror got stucked, i gave for
                service in that service center, they said shutter motor problem and they
                have to change it, and they said it will charge Rs.2400. I felt its so
                costly so i asked them to return the camera, they are not int rested to
                return it back, i asked them politely to return and they returned when i
                gave it to the unauthorized service center he said it just got stucked
                up and some one wantedly had pressed it.And he had repaired and he had not charged me a single paise...These nikon Authorized service center had asked me for Rs.2500. they are cheaters, since i asked the camera back they
                wanted.. pressed my shutter mirror..so don't go to nikon Authorized service center which is located in 7th street, Gandhipuram, coimbatore.

                  sir, i have a Nikon d7000 camera body and a Nikon 35mm 1.8 G lens, 1month old. The camera was facing with auto focus problem. so, I have given the camera and lens both to the Nikon authorizes service center (as mentioned in Nikon’s official website-"Capital Electronics"). When I gave the camera that was 100% perfect condition, without any fungus (and i have the document proof). But when i get back the camera that was affected with fungus. After a little argue they cleaned the fungus, but the lens was affected by the little scratches. When i told them that, they told me that was present from the time of receiving.. Now i don't know what to do and where to complain..

                    I am owner of Nikon 3200 with 18-55 mm lens purchased in Aug 2013 Sl No 8167417. Due to water spillage by my daughter I sent my camera for service to service center at Bangalore for liquid cleaning and assesment of damages if any through Mysore collection centre Raman Colour Lab vide reference MYS000376.On getting the estimate I was shocked because the centre gave an estimate of Rs 19000-. The cost of a new body is around Rs 20000- whereas the estimate given is almost equal to new body.As per the company service centre there were no usable parts in the camera. 2. As per assessment the two main circuit boards, Shutter mechanism and LED Display has become faulty .During the spillage there was no battery in the camera as it was put for charging. Additionally on opening the lenses no water came out of the camera but some droplets were available on the view finder the same has been certified by the collection centre. There was no water in the camera. When there was no power source then there was low chance of shorting. Intially as per my assement the probable causes were the camera has been mishandled by the service staff or the service staff has changed the serviceable parts with unserviceable ones or the camera may have not been opened by the service staff. 3. I forwarded a mail to customer support they confirmed the total parts which need to be replaced is 06 and apart from that, the estimate also include labor charges and tax.The charges shared with you are standard charges keeping in consideration the condition of the camera. 4. I was out of station when the whole incident occurred. On returning back the camera was already returned back to my home. I came back on 24 Oct 13. After coming back I recharged the battery and connected my camera. After switching on to my horror the camera is working perfectly fine . As per the assessment all the camera components are unserviceable and needs to be replaced the camera was of no value. But I fail to understand how this miracle has happened whether in my hands or in the technician hands. The issue was intimated to the company the company has arrogantly without investigating the case has replied it is an electronic device and can fail any time

                        I sent my Nikkor 70-200 f/2.8 VRII for regular servicing on 25/05/13 (serial[protected], Job Order No. SO/13-14/003018) at Nikon Kolkata Service Center address is 1st Floor, P.S Plus Building, 238A, A.J.C. Bose Road, Kolkata 700020, West Bengal. The receptionist checked the lens and found no fault except she said regular cleaning is needed. In the receipt, the same was mentioned. I came to know that they will sent the lens to Gurgaon for cleaning.

                        When I gave them the lens, they asked me to take off the UV filter. I took it off and delivered them the lens. The lens was (and still is) under warranty and in very good condition.

                        After it was cleaned, I went back to take the lens and checked the internal elements for to see if it's cleaned properly. As usual, I was not carrying the filter. But when I came back home, tried to fit the filter and the filter was not fitting at all. On a closer look I found a dent. Most probably it was either dropped or deliberately the dent was made (please check the attached photos). Now they are asking me to replace the entire front element at my own cost!

                        Now I came to know from a friend of mine that it is not new, they have done similar thing to them as well. I have posted my experience here in Nikon India page as well. Here is the link - https://www.facebook.com/NikonIndia/posts/[protected]

                        Any idea what can be my next step? I'm afraid to give this expensive lens (INR 180,550) to them again.

                        Hi,
                        Good to at least hear from you. I forgot to mention that I took the lens to the service centre next day after getting delivery. They tried to fit in the filter but couldn't do the same as this was bent. So the service centre is well aware of the problem. Yes, I didn't mail Nikon India and didn't post in facebook as right after that I got busy with assignments.

                          Dear Sir
                          We are trusting the Nikon Brand Name and Product but your Authorised service centres are totally damaging the Trade mark of your brand name. Because when the customer was affected by unexpected product complaint, when they got unsatisfactory service from your Authorised Service Centre.

                          I have purchased new camera L610 at Chennai shop EXFILE Trading on[protected] vide invoice no.12487. The same was gave a trouble while taking snaps. Immediately I went to your Nikon Authorised service centre of Camera Service Centre at No.94 Purasawakam High Road, Chennai 600010. They have told me to repair the Camera L610 will take for 4-5 days and they were booked the Service Order Number CHN-007246 dated 04.09.2013. And I asked your authorised dealer why you are taking so many days to rectify your brand. They told me after registering the complaint only they will get the spares / component from the factory.

                          After 5days your service centre person called me to collect the camera, then I went to your authorised dealer to collect the camera. By that time while checking the camera condition is not working properly and they have requested to come and collect the camera on the same day by evening. Then I went there by evening and tanke few snaps at the shop inside itself and collected my L610 model camera since it was working properly. After returning to my home I was downloaded the snaps which was already taken.

                          I got shocked because of the snaps serial was very much difference from Number DSCN00229 to DSCN077166. This means it was confirmed that they are not changed the new spare/component. Event though you are spending lot of efforts to service your valuable customers to provide good service like this Authorised Service Centres is totally damaging/spoiling the GoodWill of the Company name and Image.

                          We are trusting the Nikon Company Brand Name, but you have to look in to this type of complaints when we are brought to your notice. Hence you are requested to kindly give a necessary instructions to the above Chennai Authorised Service Centre to correct my Camer Model L610.
                          We hope early action will be appreciated at an early.

                            Dear sir SUBJECT:- Regarding to the Harassment of my consumer right Against NIKON INDIA LTD , RB ZONE UJJAIN[protected],VISWAKARMA DIGITAL INDORE([protected]) I had purchased a digital camera(NIKON_L-37) from R.B. Zone Ujjain on date 23/07/2013 And I found it dead on date 03/08/2013(Just After 10 Days) when I used it first time after the day of purchase. I immediately complained (05/08/13)about my camera to R.B. ZONE Ujjain and they receive it to me and assured me that within 10 days it will repaired without any cost (because product was in guarantee period)after three days when I discussed with them to know about the status of my camera they replied me that your product is dead due to the battery leakage problem so warranty elapsed and you have to repair it on your own cost when I asked to them about the estimate of repairing then they gave me land line no and mobile no of service centre indore([protected],[protected] When I discussed on mobile no [protected] (VIshwakarma _digital Indore)they told me that the motherboard of the camera has to be changed and its approximate cost is about 3300 Rs (whereas the cost of new camera is 4800 with all Accessories) when I requested them to mail me about the photo and estimation about my camera they simply deny and demanding to me an extra charge of Rs 250 for it .Though later on date 31/08/13 they email me estimate free of cost. Again I discussed with R.B. Zone that I used only that battery which is supplied to me by you how a battery is expected to leakage in 2 hours(I inserted battery just before 2 hours ) so somewhere either It s your fault or companies fault to supply me wrong battery and you have to take responsibility of it and discuss matter with company. That time they agreed and they also assured me that most probably your camera will be replaced but it will take some time so please wait. When on date 30/08/13 I contacted with them they told me that our proposal for the replacement of camera is rejected but just don’t care we will discussed with company about some concession and they assured me that very soon company will make contact with you about concession they also gave me some mobile no( sales manager Nikon Mr Mahesh [protected]) when I discussed to Mr Mahesh he simply denied that sir we don’t have any such rights. And we can’t help you Now no one want to take any responsibility of my camera This is my mental, physical and financial harassment and again this is the Exploitation of my consumer rights .Please help me Prof Pooja saxena Assistant Professor ) [protected]

                              at the time of submition there is no damage in my camera so they not mention it also but after a week they ask me for rs 7995 for replacing lcd of camera.

                                Consumer complaint for improper service:

                                Dear Sir/Ma'am,

                                Nikon- the brand says it all.....this was the trust I had on your company since my childhood. But now the company is loosing its charm in customer service and repair. I am sorry to say but I as a consumer had a very bad experience with your service center shop named Verma Brothers, Sanjay Place, Agra.
                                Firstly for general public I am very disappointed by the shop timings, its just like a government entity. A person working in private firm can never ever avail the services of the shop. The shop opens at 11 a.m. and closes at 5 pm from Monday to Friday and its Saturday Timings are 11am to 3 pm keeping Sunday closed. please make some flexibility in shop timings so that people working in private firms i.e. 9 to 8 job can avail its services on time.
                                My another major problem is the improper service handling at this shop. I have a Nikon Coolpix L26 digital camera no. 70013255 with 2 years comprehensive warranty. I was on a travelling trip where on opening the camera its showing lens error and its lens which opened once is not getting closed. I took this to the service center where the contact person is asking around Rs. 3000 for its repair. May I know why i need to pay the charges when my camera is under warranty period and that too it will take 15-20 days for repairing the camera. If this is the case than what is the need of advertising warranty options on the camera.....making public fool out of such campaigns. I hope this is not the Nikon known for ....

                                  Just on 14th may 2013 I Bought one nikon D5200 DSLR from siliguri form maa amiya computech - (13-14) product serial no[protected]. But I totally surprised and ashamed to say that today (16.05.2013) when i went to take some to take some pictures i found that the lcd display is not responding..it's only 2 days..then i contact the dealer about the problem and he suggested me to submit it to the service center..so i submitted it and my service order no is SLR-000668.. And the service center persons, all were wondered to found such a defect within 2 days. I am also depressed to get such a camera from such a world wide reputed company NIKON. However I have handed over my camera to your service center of siliguri. The Service order no is: SLR - 000668

                                  Please do look into the matter and do the needful.

                                    My name is prodyut mondal, customer of great estern,holding bajaj finserv card ([protected]).
                                    I have just completed the EMI of Samsung refrigerator now I see the news paper "Eisamay" that one Nikon Camera D3200, Offer price Rs. 33900/-
                                    & EMI Rs. 1999/- but when i went to the show room (shibpur, kazipara Howrah) they told me that i have to pay DP Rs. 14480/- & EMI Rs. 2825 X 8 = 22600/-

                                    So i have to pay 22600+14480 = 37080/-

                                    IS THAT WRIGHT ?????

                                    WHERE IS THE OFFER PRICE ??????

                                    I have purchase many time cash/credit from your show room but this time I am not satisfied. So I have to search any other show room..... Maybe i have pay a litle more...... But.

                                      My name is Swaroop.K.S. I purchases a camera (Nikon coolpix p510, order ID (I[protected])) online from Indiaplaza.com. I purchased it on 9th feb 2013. I didn't got any updated on my product delivery from India plaza till today. I had paid complete amount through creditcard . Customer care number is not operational. I raise many compliant tickets in there site . but no respose to any of my tickets . I applied for cancellation of product . I visited there office in 2nd Floor, No: 21, Brigade Square, Cambridge Road, Halasuru,Bangalore - 560008, Karnataka, India three times , its closed. Please help me in this regards. Please help me to get my money back or product i ordered . Please help me in this regards.

                                        i have sent it for service 3 times for the same problem to M/S VISHWAKARMA DIGITAL Nikon service center at INDORE but the problem is not solved.
                                        The warranty period will expire soon ,so kindly replace my product.
