[Resolved]  Northern Railways — inconvenience and careless attitude of staff

we regret to inform the pitiable services of the northern railways in context to the comforts, it claims to provide to its passengers and irresponsible behaviour of its staff responsible for supervising and providing the comforts in JAMMU MAIL train number 14033.

On 13 november 2011,we got our reservation in 2nd class AC as both o[censored]s were females travelling in this jammu bound train but we had a horrible experience:

1) Though we had confirmed 2nd tier AC tickets but we were shifted to 3 tier AC on the pretext that 2nd tier coach has not been attached.

2) No refund or certificate in regard to refund was given rather TT vanished from coach and could not be found even after searching the train.
No contact of any TT was provided by the serving attendants.

3) Due to non availability of TT no refund certificate could be obtained.

4) The worst part started when we were denied of blankets,bed sheets and pillows on the pretext that the same are not available with them.Even after raising hue and cry no body bothered to heed to our problem. Instead their attitude was very harsh,we had to travel without blankets in A/C coach throughout our journey period.

It is requested that the matter may be investigated honestly and responsible /officals be brought to book and under intimation to us and refund the due amount in our favour in account number [protected] before we make complain to higher authority.

Northern Railways — Poor attitute

Sir,
On dated[protected], I went to SAS Nagar Railway station at 14:45 to pick the train for Una (Himachal Prasesh) with my family members. I asked for rail ticket for the same destination. The booking clerk refused to give me the ticket and said I have another plenty of jobs not only making of tickets. There are another some passengers also who were waiting for the same. When the train reached at railway platform he starts giving tickets. My turn was around 3-4, I got the ticket and rushed to platform with kids. At that time the train starts moving. My son, his wife (aged 28 years) got the train; I and my wife left the train. We were going for some marriage to Una. So many passengers left that train because of late ticketing issue. I came back to same ticket window and asked from same clerk for the entire incident. He replied “ASK FROM SENIOR OFFICERS THAT WHY THAY HAVE GIVEN ME SO MUCH WORK LOAD AT THIS SEAT EVEN I CAN’T MANAGE TO PREPARE THE RAIL TICKETS FOR PASSENGERS.” He even said that my name is Balwinder Singh, do what ever u want, I am always at this seat, come to see me any time or complaint to any officer.

Sir, I felt shame on Railway Department for this incident. Any miss happening can occur any time for this type of attitude towards customer. Please take the needful action so that person can’t harass to other people and avoid to any major accident.
