Sabazi Mandi Station

Dear Sir,

It is a matter of great concern & bad for the Indian railways since it
has failed to provide reasonable amenities to its valuable passengers
are not interested in to save their lives..

Today, I ( Senior Citizen) happened to travel by Train No. 54303 from
Sabzi Mandi to Panipat. It was my great surprise when in the rush I
boarded the train in Wagon /Parcel/Luggage type Coach No. NE 08827.
One another luggage wagon no. SLR 13493 was also attached to this
train. Really, it is shame for the Indian railway when I have found
that there was only floor for the passenger in this wagon type coach
to complete their journey. In the wagon there was no light, handles
for standing, windows etc. Only 5’ open space was available to enter
this wagon & there was no door & handles with door were available for
the safety of the passengers in running train. In addition to this
there was around 400 to 500 passengers including women & children.
Most of the daily passengers were found as senior citizens.

This train has total 7 coaches including one coach exclusive for
ladies. All the coaches were fully/jam packed & there was no room even
to stand in the coaches. I am surprised that when such rush are being
experienced by the railways in this train then why only 7 coaches have
been attached with this train. Passengers have told that no. of times
agitation & complaints have been made but railways have not bothered
to initiate any action to over come this grievance & welfare of their
valuable passengers.

You will appreciate that one side we talk about to enter 20th century
& other side such type of facilities are being provided by the
railways to its passengers without looking into their hardships &
safety of lives.

Under the above circumstances, you are requested to look into this
grievance in the own interest & creditability of the railways so that
unwanted accident is avoided at any time while traveling in this
train.

Prompt action & response is desired please.
