Worst is there does not seem to be a quick solution to this problem. Nobody cares for ordinary citizens.

School children, Senior Citizens and handicapped are at risk each day due to the absence of a traffic signal. Speeding cars from the highway, apply emergency brakes especially before/after school causing high risk to lives. It is vitually impossible for this section of society to cross the road.

Adding to the cause, the recent walk-over bridge has also been broken down.

You are requested to kindly assess the situation and address the problem.

There is an unneccessary and non-functional signal near Sewree Court which can be re-constructed near the school to save lives and a low cost to the Government.

I have submitted the documents for vehicle ownership transfer directly myself (not by broker). After submission of documents they told me to come after 25 days to get RC, i went after 30 days they said seller signs ate not matching (usually it happens if you submit documents yourself not by broker) in this case if there were any descrepancy they should send notice but not sent. When i asked about it to the head of rto office. He said if not sent, now we will send. I called seller and we done signatures on all place. Then they said come next week and carry RC. Next week we went and asked about RC. The officer said ohhhh file is here, no issue i forward it now for scanning and come nect week for RC. Again i went after 2 weeks today the officer said same thing ohh file is here let me get it signed he got it signed by the head of rto. Which could be done by that officer on 1st day when i called seller in front of him. Why he didnt signed and made it lingered.
Today he said me to come next week.
Lets see what happen.
But i would like to clear one thing if i catch any broker he will get it done within least time period and in my case its already around 2 months.
In case of broker how these officers works fast and if any guy follow the process without broker. He will be taught the lesson, same as me.

I agree it is very unfair on the public. I also have a complaint to file regarding the auto drivers of Mumbai.

Yesterday, 22nd April 2010 at about 6pm, I was returning from Vikhroli in an auto- rickshaw and saw the meter speeding ahead. I informed the auto-driver that it was fast. He spoke to me rudely and said that it was not the case. When I threatened to speak to the police, he refused to listen and instead challenged me to do so rightaway. I got down from the auto. He asked me to note down the auto number which is MH-03 V4510 and file a complaint.He refused to give me his name but said the above details will be enought to trace the driver/owner.

I paid the fare till that point( Bhandup Station- Bus Stop on LBS Marg) and walked down to the Bhandup Police Station at 7pm. The Police Officer on duty said that I should have brought the auto to the Police Station and then only they could have helped. They asked me to lodge a complain with RTO, Wadala. Here I am writing to you.

I always felt that Mumbai autos were the best in India but my faith is getting eroded day by day. I am very upset. I want the auto driver to be brought to book because of his attempt to cheat passengers and rude behaviour. Kindly look into the above case so that I am confident that the transport authorities are listening to us.

Completely agree with the writer's sentiments, comments and observations. I am going through a similar experience. Corruption and incompetence is rife in everything and there are no avenues for complaint or redress. With regards to registering an imported car (for which I paid exorbitant customs duties) after six weeks I have still not succeeded in registering my car. They are not even able to tell me in one go what documents are needed. I have even written to the Minster but have received no response. The RTD in Delhi is probably the worst in the country and that means the worse anywhere in the world.

I send a packet through speed post no. eu[protected]n on 16.06.09 to Kathua (Jammu) till date the packet not delivered at the destination & also not traceble at internet.

kindly confirm me the status of the same docket at the earliest.

The Indian post offices are doing well , but it feels very embarrassing to say that the Badarpur Branch Post Office is not working as they suppose to do, they are not delivering most of the post to any one whether it is Speed Post or ordinary at least speed post should reach because post office charges Rs. 25 for the same .if we visit the post office to take the parcel or post they don't even talk politely. this type of behavior i.e non delivering of post cause some one very seriously whether it is financial or other losses it can be admit card for some students but they don't care about the importance of the document.
It is my humble request to you to please do something so that the post can reach the destined places.

It has been more than 7 months since I purchased bike from Himgiri Automobiles, Kanti Nagar and as on 2nd December, 2010 I have not received my Registration Certificate for the same. It has been 2-3 attempts when the Barrier policemen have stopped me on way and checked the Vehicle papers. As I have still not received my RC from Surajmal Vihar Authority I could not show it to the policemen for which I had to pay them for driving the vehicle on temporary RC provided by Himgiri Automobiles. I do not know what the authority people are doing if they are unable to issue the Registration Certificate. As I come to know from some people they are not willing to work as Government employees and trying to harras the people without any reason.

i purchased bike form himgri kanti nagar on 6/6/2010, i have not received my RC 8/3/2011 when I tyeup to himgri he said next month and after one month he say next month. & say the athority not makeing RC. I am driving with temporary RC provide by himgri Automobiles.One time I had tyeup in athority the person say tyeup to himgir automobiles. there are not give any reson why our RC are late.

I understand your concern, Since you say some one collects bribe, In Which RTO office of Banglore
Koramanagala, Indranagar, Yelankha.

I donot Now I am facing Delay in process of despaching my records from RTO Yelankha. In Rajaji Nagar RTO, They adhired to norms, But They despatched the records by post on 14th Day, When I went in person and asked they told they despatched but on the same day evening I got my documents in Self addressed Speed post I have attached.

But In Yelanka RTO [ Counter number 5 For Inward and Forms issue, 9 for Documents verificiation, 10 who re-confirms records and authories to pay the fees, 11 operated in control of Counter 10 which is Computer Terminial ] In between one have to visit Computer data Room for updating records in thier database for some Cases / New vehicles. Once all the porcess is completed without bribe only they drag telling that do this and do that like form x is required, Are you concern person, do you have Pan card, The Self addressed cover you enclosed is correct etc. And After paying the fees they told some RTO stamp for SMART card to be pasted, They told Entire documents to be stappled or wrapped in Some Sheet cover, Then stappling they told that it has to be pinned, Then They asked photograph 2 copies.

In Counter number 5 in Yelankha RTO I have given the records, They entered in thier Log book, And they gave paper slip which we have tosay as acknowledgement. [ In this matter Chennai Based RTO they give Computer generated Counterslip which will be issued along when you get Bill for your payment challan ] Then they told to give the phone nubmer.

It is more than 20 days, I prefer to Approach thru Lokalukaya advice, It will be pretty clear to know why they have not despatched. Also When I go in person if they handover they have to also handover Self addressed Cover also or else they are mis-using the stamp which I have attached with the appliciation form.

If yelanka RTO says thier process will take 20days or 25 days which is un-acceptable but for few weeks there used to be frequent power cuts, IF there is delay they should acknowledge and wave of thier procesing charges.

Also BESCOM Line mens should be only outsosurced perosnals, Some guys expect un-billed amount (means Bribe) for doing thier work in time. [ Which is also in Yelanka division ]

Note: BBMP(Bytrayanapura) is a bit better but they divert you up to a level but a person when asked for money I told that today I donot have, But a couple of days later when i approached him, He asked me to come in corrner Toilet side and asked me to pay, But I told I can pay by cheque, Since I donot have Cash or I will meet higher authority, Then with in 10 minutes with anger and fear
That guy gave the documents etc which was delayed by 14 days.

Note: People should know about RTI and how to utilize the same.

Today I just stopped for 7 minutes in front of Reliance Stationary Mart at commercial street. Though my family was inside the car. That constable used foul language and charged Rs.300 and provided me a receipet of Rs.100. I felt quite cheated, there is no busy to control these type of police man. He says Rs200 is for the toing van has come here. just for 7 min I paid this much. CRR No. E/16/114/5200; date[protected], - Kamlesh.

I would like to bring it to the notice of the respected authorities that, Auto rikshaws in ITPL location are running without Meters & are charging abonormally (ex. Rs 70 for 3-4 kms).

They do not use Meters & argue too much with commuters. My only concern is when there are meters why are they not using them.

I request concerned authorities to crack down on these auto drivers & fine them for their rude behaviour.

My today's experience is that, from Grafite India signal (Nr Mahadevpura) to Oody I was charged Rs 70. While boarding the Auto I told him clearly that, he need to take left from the ITPL signal, however, took us in different direction & started arguing on road. Auto Reg No: KA01 C 4154. Driver's name: Mr. Srinivas.(as informed by driver, not sure how much true it is).

Being an outsider & that too on a official visit, we feel, helpless.

Magadi road RTO officer collected Rs 300 & gave me Rs 100 receipt as my emissin test report was expaired is it the way these officers, cheating the people, what to do if i compalint to some body i don't think so some body will take action, really this is too bad dear officers kindly take action about this kind of officers as they are spoiling name of the department & in out of 300 Rs 200 collected by his assistent & 100 by the inspector Narasimhaiah peoples are struggling to make money of one one rupees But like this officers they r bribing money like water..I hope some body will ask him about the same other wise peoples pain like me will be useless or that god wil only punish them.

Complaint/Suggestion - Dear Bangalore traffic police, Sun film and seat belt not protect the environment population occur by vehicle. Now a days vehicle have emission test certificate, it is only mandatory. Traffic just see only exp. date of certificate. Some emission test center not test vehicle they just take the photo of no. plate and give the certificate. pls check the emission of the vehicle instantly or at spot as per ur intercepter vehicle I hope this suggestion implement as early as possible by Bangalore traffic police Thanking you
