My Father has sent a speed post on or Before 15 feb 09 from post office, Dilkhusa, Lucknow Cannt (UP) addresed to Vikram Singh H.No.34/A Balaji colony, RK Puram, Secunderabad, (AP) with a important Application form innside that have to be reached there or before 18th Feb 09, But due to some work i was not able to receive the Post.Because when the post man came to Deliver the post to my home. i was not at my home, So he just send it back to the addressses address.From then no one knows Wheres the Post has gone.till ddate i havent yet received any Enquiry about this. As per record and statement by axis bank,No receipt of above.

If the original delivary receipt shown to axis bank,it will easy to get my PF amount.

This is regarding non delivery of speed-post with article no EQ[protected]IN which was mailed from BNPL, SPC NEW DELHI on Feb. 19, 2011. The speed -post contains my IT Return chque. The following adds on to the worries and anxieties.

1. There is no information available online on the India-Post portal.
2. The customer care nos are also not responding.
3. There is no information available with the local post office too.

In spite of boasting of fail-proof and fast services, the article is undelivered even after 7 days of dispatch. Please advise me on the issue at the earliest

I had booked one item in Gaya post office for address of Gurgaon on 09.07.2012 with Speed Post. Registration No. of this speed post is EF[protected]IN. But this item is not received till this time. So, What is this. As I know, Postal department should be delivered any speed post within anywhere in India within 3 days maximum. But, in this case I have not received the booked item after 45 days. In this bag, my very important document(Cheque) is stored.

So, Please look this matter and resolve on urgent basis.

An article was sent on 27.2.2013 from Tollygunge HO <700033>: EW[protected]IN from counter No.2, OP Code:N1 to ANIRBAN LAHIRI, MUMBAI, PIN 400093 FROM D.Lahiri, Kolkata 53, wt..145 grams, amt 67.00 has not been delivered to its recipient.
At present with broken Ieg I Dr. Dipankar Lahiri, a retired professor of Presidency University, Kolkata being incapable of going to the post office and make enquiries or lodge grievance. So I take this means to ventilate my grievance seeking redress.

The above complaint was lodged 24 hours ago, but till now I have not received any feedback. My mobile No. is [protected].

I booked a parcel on 2/1/12 from NIT trichy post office addressed to Latur using the speed post service. After a week i.e on 8/1/12 when i tracked the article it showed that the article was going back to Pune after reaching Latur on 6/1/12. I was worried and asked my friend at Latur to inquire about it. She went all through the head office. There the computer was not working and she was asked to go to tilaknagar sub office. She went there and no appropriate response was give to her. Then after pressuring them they tracked on their computer and told that it has been reached in their post office and to inquire to the postman about it. She waited there for the postman for about an hour. When he came she inquired him about the article. The postman searched the article and it was lying in the dump. They found it. When asked the reason for not getting delivered the article he told that address was not appropriate. Although previously all the letters and parcels has been correctly delivered at the same address by the postman. The address i mentioned on the parcel is as below

I demand a compensation for my friend's day being wasted and an appropriate action against the post office personals.

My tracking no.is EE[protected]IN . The status shows inboud with customs since 28th Dec, 2011 , 1:54 a.m.
It is causing lot of problem as i have applied for clerkship and delay in my application would minimise my chances to get that.
It was supposed to reach in a weeks time..and I am already late. I am afraid to lose it. Kindly look into the issue as soon as possible.

UTI Pan card department booked a shipment No- EQ[protected]IN (pan card) to my Mrs Leena 's address after some days I check the status of consignment status at speed post website that was delivered but actually shipment was undelivered than I mail mark to [protected]@yahoo.com but i never got any response after many reminder.
I contect local Gokalpuri post master he told me that i am trying to delivered it but due to some reason i could not deliver it that why he update the status of delivered but actually he delivered the consignment last week after my pressure.

This is the big negligence by post master of Gokalpur post office.

If this is the case in India then what is the meaning of Speed Post or Postal department.

Please look into this issue and solve my problem asap.

I need to know where is my driving license and why cant i personally collect it from RTO office after showing the relevant proofs,once it has already been returned?(i am a permanent citizen of india having pan card,passport and voter ID as permanent address proof)

on date 15 oct 2011 i gave my driving license test in pune RTO to upgrade from non geared bike license to a geared one and got the receipt , inward number 326526 and DL no. MH[protected] and was assured to get the license via post within 20 days which for some reason didnt happen. when approached RTO people, said that license has been returned and we will have to show all the address proofs again and again it will be posted at the home address.
NOW my complaint is , if we are there in front with all the proofs then why i have to go through the whole tiresome waiting process of post again, which may again lead to the same result that the postman turn up in our absence. In todays time, when all the family members are working, how can one rely on the post for such an important document? when once the post has gone back, its quite possible that it will go back again.And moreover , why this big issue of address thing? the purpose of driving license is the identity proof and my driving skills. when these both are meeting then why even after 2 months i am still not getting my license? In todays time, when most of the people are away from home and staying at the rented place and that too changing frequently, then why to devoid someone from his/her license just because the person is not available at home?

I am very disappointed. after going through the complete strenuous procedure of getting the license I am still empty handed without the license.. I was supposed to go on a big bike trip organized by a TV channel.but due to the delay in getting the license, had to miss that..I had my non geared bike license due to my this license, had to submit that and as a result am not able to ride and kinda handicapped. Please have some procedure of handing over the license to the drivers in hand once its returned back.

This new process is very much against consumer. When both family member working, does RTO expect us to take 1 week leave and sit at home and wait for licence.

When RTO has already stated that DL CANNOT be used as address proof, then why cant one personally go and collect DL from RTO??

I dont know which 'smart and intelligent' person makes all this stupid processes.

I myself had the trouble of not getting my license till now. I appeared for the test on 3rd Sept 2011 and still havent got my license, I have been checking with my agent since the past 2 months, and now he says that RTO has lost my document and i need to re-appear for the test and have to apply for the learner's license as well again. It took me 5 hours to give the test and clear it on that day(looking at the speed at which things work with these people), its really dis-appointing to know this and I cant believe that people are so irresponsible and I have had such a pathetic experience with RTO for getting the driver's license..

we are facing this problem almost everyday since last 5-6 years ... auto rikshaw (or three-wheelers of small size) drivers take more passengers ('SAWARI' - in Hindi Language) than its normal capacity ... normally 4 passengers can sit inside this type of auto (3 at back seat + 1 with driver ) ... but to earn more money , drivers take 7-8 passengers which is also causing ACCIDENT everyday ... it seems these drivers dont care about passenger's life ... This is my humble request from the person who is reading this complaint , please take an immediate action against it ...

public transportation — Auto driver denying small route trip

on 14th aug 2010 while travelling from Goregaon Nesco, i had asked Auto driver to take me to Goregaon station, but he denied, then just to clarify his intensions i asked him whether he will come to borivali which is long distance.. and he got ready within no time... it shows he was not willing to take short trips.. and he also used abusive language.. so kindly take note of that. am expecting strict action against him.

Public transportation — Auto Rick-Shaw drivers denying & warning

This is my second complaint on subject issue , Today morning at Kanjur Marg Railway station few Auto rick-shaw drivers denied to go to L& T Powai , While I started noting their nos. one of them started warning & threatning me for not noting his no. he was accompanied by one more driver standing by him . The nos. are as follows MH-03L 1662 , MH03 AK 5574 , MH03 A 3992 , MH03 AA 6862. One of them who was standing by him warned me to see me tommorow.
Suggest me what legal action / complaint can be taken against their threat / warning apart from notifying to R.T.O .

He was said that he was returned that card NSPC Center, and he was unable to giving me any information. The Road Transport Office is unable to provide the documentary evidence needed to register an imported car. They ask for a set of documents, a week later ask for some other documents, a week later yet some other documents. This has gone on for nearly two months. It is evidently a case of trying to get a bribe which I am resisting. I have written to the Minister of Transport in Delhi - no response. The level of corruption in government departments in Delhi is over the top - I have never seen this level of corruption and incompetence anywhere in the world.

Completely agree with the writer. I have also experienced similar problems with the RTO office in Delhi and many other NRI say the same thing. Corruption is very rife in government departments in the NCR - anything from registering a lease, to get a gas connection to registering a car. Really sad to see the sad and deteriorating state of affairs in our motherland.

I have been struggling since 2 months back and forth making repetitive calls to Indian Driving School,J B Nagar Marol and to RTO Andheri West to get my original and valid 4 wheeler driving licence back. The driving school have no interest in coordinating with the RTO in assisting to get the licence once the fees are paid to them. The RTO at Andheri West dont take calls, dont listen to grievances and finally dont revert on the status of my licence.
I had renewed my 4 wheeler driving licence at Andheri RTO through Indian Driving School,Marol. On September 21, 2011 I had applied for a 2 wheeler temporary driving licence through Indian Driving School Marol and gave my 4 wheeler driving licence to them as identity proof. I had personally visited the RTO at Andheri West on September 21 to confirm my driving licence verification process. After completing my licence verification I was told to proceed to the Data Entry Window but when the officer entered by driving licence number in the computer, it showed information of my 4 wheeler valid driving licence is deleted.
Indian Driving School, Marol does not want to take any responsibility for this and pushes me to fight with RTO. The RTO on the other hand shows no interest nor gives a valid reason as to how my details of my valid licence have got deleted from their computer and they have held on to my valid licence for nearly 2 months.

It is not correct to keep a valid licence pending at the RTO office for 2 months without any reason.

I have been very casually transferred from one RTO official to another as per their convenience without a solution. Mr. Dhargode at RTO office was handling my case, today I am asked to speak to Mr.Bosekar.

The Indian Driving School at Marol does not want to get into helping me after they have collected the fees.

I request the transport commissioners office to look into this malpractice and provide me a solution at the earliest.

WHY RTO IS NOT SOLVING PROBLEM. LIKE OTHER STATES AND AS PER SHRI.ANNA HAZARE, THERE SHOULD BE TIME LIMIT IN EVERY SERVICE WHICH IS CALLED "RIGHT TO SERVE". WHO ARE NOT DOING THEIR JOB, THEY SHOULD BE SEVERLY WARNED. THERE SHOULD NOT BE ANY EXCUSES SUCH AS SIGNING AUTHORITY IS NOT AVAILABLE. BUT HOW LONG ???
FOR THE LAST THREE MONTHS, MY SON HAS APPLIED FOR DUPLICATE DRIVING LICENSE, IN RTO OFFICE ANDHERI, PHOTO AND THUMB PRINTING TAKEN ON 13 FEBRUARY, 2012, AND WAS TOLD WITHIN ONE MONTH, WILL BE POSTED TO RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS. TILL TODAY NOTHING HAPPENED. IN THIS ELECTRONIC ERA WHY SO MUCH DELAY. WE SHOULD BE SINCERE TO OUR JOB FOR WHICH WE ARE PAID FOR.
I REQUEST THE RESPONSIBLE AND CONCERNED AUTHORITY TO TAKE UP THE MATTER WITH CONCERNED STAFF.

I am also facing similar problem, for my car. I was transferred from ONGC, Karaikal to Mumbai, in May'11. I brought my car No. PY02H7731, with NOC from Karaikal. It was not entertained for more than 2 months & an avoidable penalty was imposed. The papers & car was physically verified in Oct'11. Till date I am yet to receive RC Book, though Mumbai No. has been alotted as MH02CH3495, While registering & verifying the documents, all due care is taken about documents, but ultimateresults are not delivered in due course. They might be handedover to the irresponsible contract persons, who do not either actually despatch, for want of something, or send it at anyother wron address, from where it does not get returned. The despatch details are alsonotrovided, through which, it may be followed. Only, either the assurances are given, that you will receive it in 8-10 days, or gien the lame xuses of their being busy in holidays, election, ear closingetc., etc., which have no bearing/ concrn with them. Inorder tofollow rules, hand delivery is also fobidden.
Authorities may kindly look into.

hi Sir, My name is Leo Pereira i have purchased new bike in June 2012, but i have not yet received my Smart Card RC of the bike, when i visited RTO andheri office, i was told that my file is in Godown and thats why it is not printed, I asked to remove it from there, they asked to speak to the godown clerk, I requested the clerk he asked a bribe of rs 100/-. I complaint to the supervisor, but looks like he was also not interested and asked me to come after 1 week. Looks like they all have share in the bribe money.

Please let me know If any respected honest officer to whom i can speak or any email id to take this issue and get my work done. It will be great help.

my name is manoj kumar yadav i have given my final driving licence test on[protected] my recepit inward no is 33160013 its been 5 month i have still not driving licence yet the system in rto is very poor and there is no one to answer anything i have called many times at rto office to check my driving licence status the person who received my call kept me on hold for 20 mints and he is tellin me to come at rto and check my driving licence status when i went there i was shocked to see such rude behavior of rto staff they are talkin like i am fool corrption is going openly there in rto my some kms is pending from 2 month when i inquired about kms of driving licene the guy who is in incharge of kms asking me bribe of rs -100 otherwise my driving licence will taken another 2 month very disappointment the way rto work its a same i am not the only one to suffer there were some 50 people with the same problem my cell no -[protected]

TA 2354 - Having plied me upto my office at Andheri, this arrogant auto driver
refused to ply the auto inside the gate, complaining that I have chosen the
route which according to him was not good and I am getting down at a destination
which according to him was not the one for which he had agreed to in the first
place. Firstly, I would like to mention here that the auto driver has no 'right
to refuse' to ply me to the destination that I want to go, unless he has downed
his meter. He is bound to ply me where I want to go, when I am sitting inside
the auto.
After pleading with him that my office building is on the other
side of the gate and asking me to drop there, from which gate he can come out
straight onto link road, he reluctantly agreed, but refused to honk to alert the
security to open the gate. I also agreed to pay him extra just to drop me inside
the building compound. After going inside the gate, where the building compound
had neatly laid out tiles, he complained that nobody will ply in this kachcha
road. He refused to stop in front my building also. He stopped on the way out of
the building. When I paid him Rs.100 note [had to pay 60], he said he had 'no
change' and he arrogantly replied, that I get down from his auto, look out for
the change, pay him the money, else he will take me onto the main road [ where
he wanted to drop me in the first place, by an alternate route] from where I can
get the change. However, he did not budge an inch to look out for the change, as
he did not have the intention to do so in the first place. However, I have the
inkling, he had the change, but did not want to budge with an intention of
harassing me. Normally, auto drivers volunteer to get the change, if they
genuinely do not have one. However, I gathered all my change and paid him 60
bugs. I, then, said, I have taken his no., will complain about his arrogant
behaviour to the RTO. As I got down from the auto, he kept shouting, take my
photo, click photo of my auto regn. no. Let me see what you can do. This is the
way auto drivers behave and they want us to take us to the destination they are
interested in plying, without wanting to ply where we want to
go.

Earlier, 10 days back I had complained against another errant auto
driver by emailing complaint at RTO Andheri, Traffic police etc. However,
nothing happened. Hence, trying to see if any action would be taken by
complaining at this forum.

I came here on 25 th August 2016 and this is the worst experience of a government service
There are multiple people doing same jobs and still they are so happy in making people wait for hours. Horrible service of the RTO in andheri West. Really don't know whether my driving license will come or not

I am a residence of Jogeshwari East (Ramwadi), and this is every single time phenomena where the vehicles do not follow the traffic signals and resulting into everyday quarrel and inconvenience to every person that awaits to cross the road. There has been times that many of them infact missed meeting accidents.

This inheritence of traffic rules have lead to be the controller of the signals with acceptance of risk to allow oneself cross the road, which is really patience challenging, especially the bikers, rickshaw drivers and private vehicles are to be blamed for this kind of action.

Would request the RTO to kindly arrange to have a traffic police control this to avoid major accidents and smooth following of traffic rules.
