[Resolved]  Planet M — Regarding Invoice Date and Warranty Period.

I have purchased Nokia 5800 Xpress Music mobile handset from Pune Branch of Planet M.


Dated: MARCH 2010

With 1 years warranty.

I have purchased the phone on MARCH 2010.

I went to Nokia Care to resolve my display problem in my handset on 3rd April 2010.
Nokia care told that your One year warranty has been expired on feb 2010.
Means 1 months before the invoice date and they cannot provide the service.

I called at Planet M, Pune to resolve the matter at that time.
Planet M person Mr. pravin told that he will resolve the matter within a week.

After a week Mr pravin told that they have talked to Nokia and problem will be solved. Untill now no action has been taken from their side and neither they are giving any information for the job sheet if they have given it to Nokia or not .

I have visited 4 times to Planet M but they are not responding properly . They are just saying that they have send the mobile for repairing . They are just bluffing the customers.

From now onwards Me and all persons related to me will not buy any product from Planet M.

This is realy shame for Planet M. We supposed to get good service from your side thats why we were buying products from Planet M, not from Nokia Priority, but thats the mistake i have done.

Time: 09.34 PM.
With 2 years warranty.

I have purchased the phone on 3rd June 2009.

I went to Nokia Care Townhall Branch at Jamnagar, Gujrath (as i shifted to jamnagar.) to resolve software problem in my handset on 20th May 2010.
Nokia care told that your One year warranty has been expired on 08/02/2010.
Means 4 months before the invoice date and they cannot provide the service.

I called at Planet M, Pune to resolve the matter at that time. Nokia Care Person talked to them to forward their purchased invoice.

Planet M person Mr. Kishore told that he will resolve the matter within a week.

After a week Mr. kishore told that they have talked to Nokia and problem will be solved. Then i again went to Nokia care but they told we haven't recieved any mail or not even anybody called for your problem.
Untill now no action has been taken from their side.

I have visited 4 times Nokia Care. It is about 25 km from Essar Township.
I am really pissed off. I dont know how they will provide me 2 years of warranty. They are just bluffing the customers.

From now onwards Me and all persons related to me will not buy any product from Planet M.

This is realy shame for Planet M. We supposed to get good service from your side thats why we were buying products from Planet M, not from Nokia Priority, but thats the mistake i have done.
This is not at all a stray incident. All Indian arms od the multinational companies and the latter themselves, respectfully and deferentially called MNCs by the govt. and the public alike, treat Indians like animals and thus can afford to treat us like this with full sup;port of the authorities. The complainant can test this by forwarding the complaint to the TRAI who will not even acknowledge the same-for obvious (like the 3G) reasons!

When a sovereign govt. always bows before a foreigner, be it Russia or China or a Western Power--especially our former British masters which compel the nation to bear the unwanted and most humiliating burden of CEG at a cost escalation of 2000%--relegating its so called sovereignty to a mere academic relic, this is bound to happen.

Remember Gokhale's words ? A subordinate nation has no politics.

Planet M, Pune — Misbehavior by a service executive Name Pravin

Misbehaviour by a executive (floor supervisor or something) named Pravin on 2nd October at around 7 pm in Planet M (MG Road, Pune).
1. Had given headset of Samsung mobile for servicing/replacement on
2. Front desk executive did not informed me to take original bill and warranty card back and kept it with themselves.
3. I went to take the headset back on 2nd October 2010, where they handed me over the replaced headset.
4. But they did not agree about having my original warranty card and bill and said they have returned it to me.
5. Back office services guy came down and started misbehaving and using false language NOT bothering about any mannerism and ethics on how to behave with customers.
6. Finally the original warranty card was found with them BUT they did not give me the original receipt.

I want strict action to be taken for misbehaviour as I do not expect this low quality mannerism from Planet M's employee.

Mr. Pravin should be sacked as he is not fit for talking to customers OR he should be given strict warning.

The tone of Mr. Pravin clearly stated that there is no respect for customers and he can come down to any level.

Please take into consideration my appeal.
