[Resolved] Public Provident Fund (Ppf) Office — Settlement not yet made

My PPF Account number is GJ/23258/806. I had resigned from my services on November 2008. However, till date my PF settlement is not made. When the PPF Vapi Office made the cheques in my name # 545789 and 644363 dated 1/10/08 and 30/09/08 drawn on SBI, Vapi, they had mentioned the account number wrongly. It took time for me to trace as there was no intimation to me. After locating and giving back the Cheques to PPF office, Vapi with letter from my banker, they have not yet made the settlement till date. Whenever i try to contact their office, they keep on evading me. They once tried misleading me by giving wrong indications that the cheques were sent by Speed Post whereas the cheque is still with them. I am not sure when my settlement woudl be made. I am subscriber for Public Provident fund for the past 15 years. I had moved from Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam. I had applied for Transfer of my Public Provident Funde from SBI, RP Road Branch, Secunderabad, to SBI, VSEZ Branch, Visakhapatnam. After delay finally transfer has taken place during September, 2008. Further deposit was made during the year. When I had insisted credit of interest during the transfer, I wa told interest will be credited once in a year.

During April 09 when the interest was credited my account I am surprised to notice short credit of interest by 17, 000 or so. SBI, VSEZ has no explanation on this.

The detais are: Account no. [protected] with SBI, VSEZ Branch, Visakhapatnam
Account no. [protected] with SBI, R.P. Road, Secunderabad before transfer

Balance to account as on 01/04/2008 was Rs. 452, 480/-
Deposit made during the year on 09/09/08 Rs. 70, 000/-
Interest credit as on 01/04/2009 was Rs. 23, 916/- as aganist Rs.40, 000/-

Interest Shor credited by Rs.17, 000/-

I have a PPF A/c with GHUGHUDANGA POST OFFICE, KOLKATA, a/c no. being 6025008. The a/c is being maitained there under COSSIPORE HEAD OFFICE. I have submitted the pass book in the Ghughudanga post office on 18/07/09 to be sent to Cossipore H.O. for posting of interest for the year[protected]. I am totally shocked to find out that till date the job is not done. Both the post offices are computerised and are supposed to be connected through NET, and even there physical distance is not more than 2 kilometers, still isn't it ridiculous to spend more than 2 months to get a job done which normally should take hardly a day !!!

I am D.Dilesu PPF account holder no. [protected], CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA, FORT, MUMBAI - 400023 and this PPF account had transferred to state bank of India, chatrapur on last week of august 2010 (SBI PPF account number is [protected]). The state bank of India, chatrapur pays to me interest only September 2010 to march 2011. But while CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA transferred my PPF account to state bank of India, chatrapur, that time CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA did not send interest with PPF account of April 2010 to August 2010. I request to you please check my PPF account and transfer my interest to STATE BANK OF INDIA, CHATRAPUR-PO, GANJAM-DIST, ODISHA, PIN 761020, IFS C Code :- SBIN0000055, MICR Code :[protected], Email: sbi.[protected]@sbi.co.in, PPF account number is [protected].

I request to you, please consider this matter and transfer my remaining interest as soon as possible.
