I have sent 2 parcels having 2 mango baskets in each from Valsad (W.Rly) to Ahmedabad (W.Rly), Gujarat State; on 15/6/2013 through Receipt No.S 322135 and S 322136. Parcel receipts have been posted at RMS, Valsad on 16/6/2013. But, till today it has not reached Ahmedabad.
Parcels have been received at Ahmedabad.
I have sent scanned images of both parcel receipts to my relative. They have produced the printout of the same at Ahmedabad Parcel office. However, Ahmedabad Parcel office have not handed over the parcels (without real Receipts) as per rule.
I hope, Ahmedabad Parcel Office may hand over the parcel after verifying mobile numbers and contacting me on my mobile no. [protected].
After-all mangoes are perishable commodity. Postal service may take more time in rainy season.
In this modern time of communication mobile numbers shall be considered positively.
In fact I was Amul Dairy employee and highly appreciate railway parcel/goods services because Indian Railway has been transporting milk tankers most efficiently between Anand and Mahalaxmi/Mumbai and Hawrah. Hope you will consider my complaint and hand over the parcels. For safety, I have scanned the images of receipts for the record/evidence.
Thanking you,
