Thank you for your feedback sir, I would personally like to clarify our processes for your understanding. Every Ad booked via our system undergoes editorial approval by the publication before it is confirmed for release via the publishing system.

In your particular case - your Ad matter was not editorially approved by the publication & hence wasnt confirmed for release. The editorial approval discretion is maintained by the publication and as per their norms which we abide by and also stressed in our Terms & Conditions. As per our policy our team did contact you to inform you of this and suggest to alter your Ad matter to enable that it meets the editorial requirements of Telegraph/ ABP. Since this change in your ad was unacceptable to you, we have to ensure we refund your money back which was followed.

Compalaint against release my ad..

I have booked an ad with ID 1023696 to be published on 8/01/12 in Amar Ujala newspaper after following all the steps on the RELEASEMYAD SITE. The payment of Rs. 1016 has been made through internet banking and stands debited to my account but the status of my ad still shows Payment due awaiting clearance.
I have not recieved any confirmation/ invoice on mail also.
I want to know why after recieving the payment the status is still payment due ?
Is this Company genuine or cheating the public
They have also not replied to messages sent to customer care.
This needs to be addressed immediately.

On 9th may 2012, I had booked an ad under 'medical services'in Times of India, Bangalore edition from releasemyad website(ad release date 13th may 2012).(Ad ID :1032955)I had booked this ad under medical services after speaking to an executive online from releasemyad website.She has directed me to place the ad and I placed the ad accordingly and I made the payment of Rs.5274 with my credit card.
Today i.e.10th May 2012, I received a call from releasemyad(ph.no.[protected])informing me to pay extra premium to release the ad under medical service in Times of India.I informed the caller that I had placed the ad according to the instructions of the executive in the customer care online before placing the ad and then only I booked the ad and I made payment of Rs.5274.Now they are asking me to pay premium to release the ad.I feel this is unfair and a way to take the customer for a ride when the customer placed the ad with full trust online.If this is state of affairs of taking the customer for a ride, then customers would think twice before placing any ad and the reputation of release my ad will be at stake.
I have sent a cancellation request of the ad to relaesemyad by email and also the executive who called me today evening has assured me full refund as it was the mistake of releasemyad and not from my side.hereby I request you to make refund of Rs.5274 immediately and oblige.

Release My Ad is a complete fraud. I would urge the CBI to investigate the owners of this company. They are stealing money from innocent people and their customer care staff are poorly paid so they do not care. If you have booked ads with this company please make sure you check the newspaper to verify your ad has been printed. Release My Ad will not contact you to inform you that your Ad has not been printed. This is fraud, pure and simple.

I had a very bad experience with ReleaseMyAd. Their customer service is even worst, they reply to emails after 18-24 hours, total spineless. You complain, clarify, write emails, all they would do is reply back with 1 or 2 lines talking about the payment. "This is regarding you ad no ...blah blah you need to pay the outstanding amount of ..."

They reply so pathetically, we as a customer want to reply back to the email we sent but they are least bothered. They are big time cheaters and their website is misleading the customers. The website should clearly state/hightlight before/during booking that documents would be required to publish the ad, instead, the website let the customer book the ad, even let the customer pay the amount. After 24 hours customer receives and email saying the ad will not be published unless the documents are submitted.

The most interesting part is, when i said i will not be able to provide the document, they demanded double the amount and said "Times of India" and "Economic Times" (leading newspapers) does not ask for the documents so pay extra cash and advertise in one of these papers. What does this state ???? Either it is a gameplan of releaseMyAd to loot the customers or may be Times of India and Economic Times are careless newspapers who publish the advertisement without checking the documents.

I seriously feel that releaseMyAd website should be blocked permanently for misleading the customers and should be fined for the same.

Its a complete fraud. Here is my story:

I have asked to publish one name change ad in Punjab Kesri Panipat edition (Ad id 1038181) on 14th July 2012 through releasemyad.
Then it was not published on 14th, then they said, there are some technical problem, so they didnot print the ad. Then they asked to postpone it to 16th July and I agreed on that.
Again on 16th July, It was not published and I complained again to releasemyad and they said, it will take 2 days to get reply from Punkab kesri. Then I asked for refund and they agreed on phone but did not replied over mail.
Then on 18th they said, ad was published on newpaper on 16th. I checked the newspaper again, but ad was not there. then I looked into e papers and find that it ws published on delhi edition.
I have sent the downloaded epaper also to them, where it was clearly mentioned it was delhi edition and not panipat.
So ad was of no use.
Now if I am asking for refund, they are saying its published.
This is complete rubbish from customercare of releasemyad.

I feel cheated over this matter and I want my refund in this matter.

ReleaseMyAd is a fradulent company and i dont believe any of the advertisement get published in any of the newspapers. I have paid an amount of Rs1055/= for an rental advertisement in Dinamalar 11th Nov edition (Booking No. 1047797). Despite all the payments been made, it is still showing editorial confirmation required and there is no response from the customer care about the progress.Is there any way that we can take this to the notice of newspaper association or to the individual newspaper?- Abdul Majeeth

I had booked an ad in releasemyad.com as on 20.7.2013, for
matrimonial purposes to be published in dainik jagran editions of
all up & uttrakhand & nai duniya for a package amount of 2800/-
for 25 words on date 28.7.2013. I had given them my full address & ad details & fee, they
got my ad registered for publishment from kanpur getting an ad
id C-484(K). while i live in saharanpur & thus ad ID should have been
registered from merrut & not from kanpur. Ad was not published in
dainik jagran paper which got circulated in saharanpur, i dont know whether they published my ad in all editions or not. as the ad did not published in dianik jagran that got circulated in saharanpur, i have been defrauded by my money.
I have been deceived by getting a wrong ID generated & thus bringing
me matches from the places i had not wished for. they have
cheated me & now they are not answering my mails & phone calls.

I had booked an Ad in releasemyad.com to be published on 21st Sept 2013 to rent my apartment.
It is a fraud website and the money will be deducted from your account immediately, The ad will not be released in the Newspaper and when you call they will give some stupid answers saying due to some technical difficulty, the ad was not released. Please beware of this site and never go for this site. The customer service is awful as is mentioned by few customers before.

I too facing similar problem now. i had booked the add in this website for sale my apartment. as usual the ad was not published. current status is following up with customer care, live chat...the answer is due to some technical reasons ad was not published and they sent mail to publication and waiting for their answer..its been almost 10 days now...will keep you update progress on this..

Here is the update: overall experience was really bad..please think twice before you book. They took one month for my refund with out publish and impacted my precious time, followups, tension..etc. Not Advisable

Ad ID : 1113504I am really disappointed with the customer service at Releasemyad.com/I have booked this ad through one of the representative and it was clearly mentioned in the email which location it should be posted and they have posted under different location. I kept getting wrong calls for the ad which have been posted at the wrong place. Now worst part starts I have been trying to reach you guys for last 3 days and no response from anyone and now my number also been blocked as it does not get transfer to anywhere. I would like to get my refund asap as this is the mistake by your representative and I am not going to pay for this. This is cheating as ad posted at the wrong place and now no one is attending the calls.

Please check the advertisement Sir, your ad matter states "Vivek Nagar" and the ad has been placed under Vivek Nagar. We have checked the content thoroughly and also inquired with the concerned representative. Therefore, Sir it is not possible to issue a refund when an ad has been correctly printed in the appropriate section.

Vivek Nagar is a diff location and Vivek Nagar is a small area under marathahalli as well. I specifically mentioned in my email that i want my ad to be published under marathahalli. Then why it was published somewhere else. Pls investigate this further as it was their mistake. Pls go through my email sent to them. thx

Sir as per our records the ad matter was supposed to be delivered to us via email or through the phone and following the receipt of the ad matter the ad was due for release. As per the records your ad was confirmed for release and was published on the dates specified by you. In case of it not being published by the publication we do refund the amount spent on the ad as we have done earlier as well. Therefore, we urge you to check the newspaper again.

Other locations or editions are not available for booking and the same is visible on the website. It probably was a miscommunication on the part of the representative who might have failed to inform you about this detail. We request you to kindly choose some other newspaper for any advertisement to be published in Panipat while booking via releaseMyAd in future. In that case Sir it was a decision made by the publication, as all the ads are published only after the editorial confirmation is received from the publication itself and this is something we do not have any control over. The representative had specified the your requirement and yet the ad was printed the way it was which was in lieu of the editorial confirmation by the publication. We are sorry for the inconvenience but this issue cannot be taken any further as the ad was published under the right section as per the publication. If you have the requirement, you can book your ad again and remove the mention of "Viveknagar" and only mention the area you intend to target, so that there is no confusion caused on future.
Usually due to some guidelines that the publications need to follow, such issues may arise. In case of property ads, the larger area or the more popular region mentioned within the ad text is taken into consideration while placing the ad under a specific regional category.
