I booked an advertisement from ReleasemyAd.com. It was for classified of Time Of India, Pune. The ReleaseMyAd booking ID is 1173397. I paid 1819/- rupees for 3 classified
advertisements to be published on 13th, 16th and 18th April 2015. They did many mistakes to
make my life measurable.
1. They said that ad can not come on 18th April after taking my money. I compromised and said ok although it is a cheating only. They are cheaters.
2. Then when I said that publish the ad on my desired dates, they argued a lot saying now it is not possible because they themselves gave some dates while cancelling my first advertisement. Later they agreed to give 3 ads.
3. Very big mistake: While booking the ad I selected the newspaper section as "Studies Abroad" but published the ad in "Professional courses" so all the advertisements were of no use. Nobody was going to look in professional section if he/ she is looking for studies abroad. When I called them, firt of all their call center people don't pickup phones of complaint section fast. So in half an hour it got connected. Then the CSR told me that in your invoice it was "Education" category only so we published it in the section of our desire. Come on... first your site was not good that after taking the selection it changed it, then you decided your own where to publish, even we talked before the ad that in which section it should come but that was also ignore.
These people are fraud, cheater, unprofessional and waste of time.
They are behaving as if there is no law in this country, just take money online and disappear.
I want my full money back from them or they should print of 3 ads again in the correct section.
ReleaseMyAd.com customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
In the evening I got a mail from them saying the ad was confirmed to be release as they had send it to the publication house and it got missed or got published they will check and inform within 2 business days.
after 2 business days and nothing happened I talked with thier customer care representative. He assured me that he will check the matter very speedly (Now I laugh at this) and the ad will appear on the next booking date I choose if it had not appeared. After a few minutes I got another email from their customer care that they are looking for the problem and I will get a reply within the next 2 business days.
It is not about money. But time. They keep on repeating that they will try to look into the matter and if the ad is missing they will publish it on the next business day. I do not want the ad to be published now as what is the use of an ad that was about recruitment not to be published on the set date. Also I want the person responsible to be punished so that this kind of situation does not happen. They have wasted so much of my time and they feel everything is OK.
