[Resolved]  Reliance ADA — Extortion

After two months of trying to get Reliance to collect my equipment or even answer my emails, I received the following email.

I received the following email from reliance.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for being a valued Reliance Broadband customer.
We have been trying to contact you over the past few days through several means to request for payment due from you. Our records show that an amount of Rs xxx.xx /- as on today remains unpaid on your Reliance Broadband account.
Above said amount has to be cleared immediately or within 5 days from letter received, to avoid further follow ups and actions may be initiated by us.
For any further clarification with respect to your aforesaid account you may contact
Mr. MAHESH on : [protected]/30386258 between 10 am To 6 pm.

I like the part where they say "We have been trying to contact you over the past few days through several means to request for payment due from you."

In reality, they haven't even bothered to answer the dozen-or-so emails I sent them over the past two months, let alone *try* contact me.

They haven abandoned their equipment at my house for over two months and don't seem to have basic human decency.
