Dear Mr. Devendren.V,
I am really sorry for what happened to you.
I would like to inform you that the case scenario is not just with you but has happened all across who have mediclaim bought form Reliance. And you cannot make any complaints for that either because their policy document very clearly says that company reserves the right to change the premium rates without any notice.
But this is no point worry for you because you can get the renewal of your policy from other service providers. I being a health advisor for last 6 years advise that you should go for a mediclaim from a specialist company which has a good brand value.
If you would like to get your policy renewed with all continuation benefits it could be done with APOLLO MUNICH HEALTH INSURANCE. Kindly contact me at [protected] for more details on the same.

we face same problem. what is way out ?
I have taken Reliance Healthwise policy on 08/07/2009 for my family and my policy no. is[protected]. At the time of taking the policy, the policy amount as Rs. 4764.00. Also, I have been told by Customer care executive that policy amount will remain same for through out the life.
Now at the time of renewing my policy for next year, the customer care executive told me that it has been revised and I need to pay Rs17401.00 for the same which is almost 4 times higher than the initial policy amount.
I am feeling cheated as they attract the people to take the policy with low premium rates and do not cover any major illness in first two years of the policy and then they revise the policy amount whenever they want to.
Could you please assist me what should I do in this scenario?
Thanks & Regards
