[Resolved]  Sbi Central Pension Processing Cell, Delhi — Delay in payment of Pensionary Benefits

Dear Sir,


I retired as Group Captain from the IAF. My pension pay order no. 08/14/A/0228 of 2009 was forwarded by Office of the DY Controller of Defence Accounts (AF) New Delhi-10 for payment to SBI Branch Air Force Station, Jodhpur for crediting into my Account No. [protected].


The necessary papers in original were forwarded by the SBI Branch Air Force Station, Jodhpur-342011 to
SBI, Pension Centralised Processing Cell , Second Floor, SBI Building , Chandni Chowk, Delhi-110006 by courier on 11th December,2009.


So far the amount is not credited in my account. On checking from the Branch Manager, SBI AF Stn, Jodhpur, I was told that the SBI, Pension CPC, Chandni Chowk, Delhi-6 has informed them that the original papers sent through courier are not traceable, so they cannot credit the money in my account.


I want to bring it to your kind notice that I am a Retired Officer of the Air Force who has served for more than 3 decades and at this stage because of delay in payment of my due benefits I am feeling very harassed and helpless. I don't know who is going to pay interest for the amount which is due to me for no fault of mine. I need the money immediately to sort out various financial problems like children's education, paying for a house, insurance policies, medical bills etc.


May I request you to kindly intervene and take the necessary action for early payment of my dues as I am not in receipt of even the pension for my survival.

MY FATHER IS 72 YEARS OLD CENTRAL GOVT PENSIONER " MURARI LAL SHARMA" HAVING PENSION PAYMENT ORDER (PPO) NO "C/FYS/17959/2000" GAVE THE APPLICATION REGARDING TRANSFER OF PENSION ACCOUNT NO "[protected]" FROM SBI NEW SHAHAGANJ, AGRA (U.P) TO SBI PHOOLBAGH, KANPUR(U.P) ON 04 FEB-2011 BUT STILL PENSION WAS NOT STARTED SO FAR FROM NEW PAYEE BRANCH.

Sub: Regarding Transfer of Pension Account

I, Anil Kumar Singh S/O Mr. Jokhai Singh am an Ex-Serviceman from Army
Dated 31st 2005. I was getting pension from SBI Rai Ka Bagh, Jodhpur
(Rajasthan), Bank Code-7451. In 2008 I got settled in Lucknow it was
difficult for me to go to Jodhpur a receiving my pension every month.
Hence, on 06/03/2008 I send a letter (Letter No-2007/08/166) to SBI
Rai Ka Bagh, Jodhpur Code-7451 for transfer of my pension Account
(Account No-[protected]), PPO No-S/039571/2005(Army)
To SBI S.G.P.G.I.M.S, Lucknow Code- 07789. I had also applied for a
joint Account (A/C No-[protected]) on the same date 06/03/2008.
My joint Account was transferred within a month but regretfully my
pension Account was never transferred from SBI Main Branch Jodhpur but
SBI Rai Ka Bagh Jodhpur send my complete document transfer
To the Main Branch of SBI Jodhpur in front of my eyes, so the whole
mistake is of SBI Main Branch Jodhpur. More over I am not even
receiving my pension from Feb.2008 till now. I inquired in SBI
Jodhpur, CDA Allahabad, SBI Lucknow, AGI SBI Centralized pension
proceeding cell, SBI Jodhpur but to of no avail.
As per my inquire SBI Main Branch Jodhpur wasn’t transferred my letter
from there
To SBI Lucknow. Even I have given copy of my whole document like
Aliving Certificate copy of PPO, Pension Book discharge Book and an
application of transfer Account etc to the Main Branch of SBI
jodhpur(R.K. Jha-Pension Department) But they didn’t given me any
information regarding my document paper till now.
I request you to Probe into the matter such that I may start getting
pension S.G.P.G.I.M.S. Lucknow.
