[Resolved]  SBI - Internet banking — Activation Problem

Sir,

I got my internet banking kit from my branch 10 days ago. But till now i am not able to login. It says "Invalid username and passowrd". And it also says "Enter valid account no. and branch name" whenever i try to lodge an online complaint in the "Trouble logging in" section..
Plz activate my online banking account as soon as possible because i am working in a remote village in assam,the nearest sbi branch being 30 kms away and the only way to access my sbi account quickly is through gprs,which i luckily manage to get there...

I HAVE REGISTER FOR ONLINE BANKING 6 DAYS AGO BUT STILL IT IS TO BE ACTIVATED

two weeks back, i applied for internet banking account. i got id and password on same day from bank. they said that account wll be activated within 2 days but still i am waiting for it.
whenever i try to login on onlinesbi.com it says invalid username and password. i ask about to my bank they said "thr is problem on site" . then why it not specify on web site...
I B.SHANKER RAO HAS APPLIED FOR INTERNET BANKING IN BARKATPURA BRANCH HYD. ON 25.02.2009.MY S.B. A/C NO IS [protected] AND ON THE SAME DAY I WAS ISSUED WITH KIT WITH USER I.D. AND PASSWORD BY THE BARKATPURA BRANCH HYDERABAD BUT TILL DATE THE USER ID AND PASSWORD ARE NOT LOGGING AND NO RESPONCE IS RECEIVED FORM THE BRANCH OFFICE AND CUSTMOER CARE . I REQUEST YOU TO KINDLY SOLVE THE PROBLME IMMEDIALELY TO ENABLE ME TO OPERATE NET BANKING.

Atleast 11/2 months ago I had made a request online for providing new Internet banking user Id & password as i did not receive the same after opening my account. That time i got the following user id and Ticket no. :-
USER ID - pubguest & Ticket No. - 348855 and the new id 7 password was supposed to be sent to me wothin 10 days.But till today i've not received anything from SBI. as a result of this i am still unable to access SBI online.

Being a customer I am quite amazed with the service of SBI. This is horrible.

Dear Sir,

I have got my user id and password for internet banking facility from SBI Balkeshwar colony branch, Agra on 04.03.2009. From the till date my account cannot be access.At the time of login from given password and user id from the branch it shows a messege that your user id or password is invalid.

Please take appropriate action at earlist as possibe.

State Bank of India — internet banking activation

I have an account in SBI, main branch, in banda u.p. since 2005. I have applied for internet banking in july 2008 and after facing so many problem I got the internet banking password and login ID, but since that time I have tried many time to login but it doesnot and it shows as invalid ID.
I have also send a mail regarding this to the branch manager but i got no response.Now I am living in pune and cant go to bank.

I had applied for internet banking with SBI two months back and got the ready to use kit but whenever i try to login on onlinesbi.com it says invalid username or password. I made many complaints to my branch manager at SBI, Alambagh, Lucknow branch. I mailed him, called him and even messaged him but he is yet not been able to take care of it. I also mailed SBI internet Banking department but got no response. It feels soory to learn that Country's largest bank offers such poor services and has no customer liability.

for than i can to logging net banking but i can not watch statement etc.
A message came that following.
You do not have any accounts mapped to this username. Please contact your branch...

Now, what will have to i do?

SBI internet banking — Poor Help from Bank.

I had opened a SBI account on Jan2009 and I applied for Internet Banking. As per Application I got 2 letters from them, temporary user name and password, which I require die registration. After I finished Registration, I couldn't log in using my user name and password. I am sure my user name and password are right.( I used to register password by first typing in Text file and copy paste it). May be problem is with network while registering. When I asked help at branch office they told me that they have nothing to do with this. I tried Forgot Password option in online SBI.com. But that also didn't help me. I didn't find customer care contact for Online SBI. I tried their toll free number which is busy every time. What should I for solving this problem...

Facing similar problem with activation of SBI Internet Banking service.
Received from the Branch manager Interenet Banking Kit with UserID and Password. Since 5 months I am not able to view my account or do any transaction as the message coming is'your account is not mapped'.This is the status though i have informed thelocal SBI branmch several times. Kindly help.

I have seen the advt given by SBI for netbanking in TV.
Received Interenet Banking Kit with UserID and Password and was able to view my accounts initially but since Since 5 months I am not able to view my account or do any transaction as the message coming is 'your account is not mapped'.This is the status for so long as 5 months though i have informed the local SBI branch several times and their efforts not successful. Kindly do the needful.

Dear Friends,
I am a resident of KOLKATA, though i agree with all the complaints with the problems with internet banking and other systems, i would like to say that proper actions are not taken againt them and moreover this will happen over and over again because all the employees right from the branch manager to the peon are all getting their salaries at the proper time, so why would you bother dear, i[censored] get paid even if you are not working for which you are liable. By this SBI also means, " our service is like this and we are not being able to handle such a huge customer base, if you want then please withdraw your account".
So i feel its a total waste of time from either side negotiating this issue...and its better to act harshly by withdrawing our accounts.
