Sony — SONY refuses to replace walkman which has been a FAILURE model in the market | |||
This is with regard to a SONY walkman (Model # NWZ-W202/WME) which was purchased on 19/09/2009 from E-Zone, Ashoka Pillar Road branch, Bangalore. The issue with this set is that it is not charging and as per SONY Service Centre, Jayanagar branch, this cannot be repaired. This was intimated to SONY team by the Service center to have the set replaced and the reply they have got is negative. I would like to bring to your notice that this set is just 3 months over the warranty period and also this particular model has been a ‘Failure model’ post its market launch. Hence, I request you to kindly look into this matter on priority and take serious action against SONY India Pvt Ltd. since they are being ignorant to have the set replaced when the product itself has been a FAILURE in the market.
