[Resolved] Sony Bravia KLV 32" LCD TV — processor fault | |||
To, Head Customer Care Sony India Dear sir, I purchase a Sony KLV32: LCD TV from your dealer M/S Suraj Business Pvt Ltd in Oct 2009. There was always a problem of non response of remote with TV but it was not too consistent. Ultimately the TV stopped working in Oct 2011 and we called your service centre Advanced Electronics. They charged their service charge and said that the processor is not working and it will cost Rs 9272 and needs to be replaced. They wanted us to send the TV to their service centre. I made various complaints to your customer care number saying that such a reputed company's TV not working with in two years of purchase is a shame on the company's name. Also that the repair cost is 20% of the cost of TV is exorbitant. All my complaints have fallen on deaf ears. Ultimately I could not watch the dead TV hanging on my wall and I deposited Rs 8000 as advance with Advance Electronics for the spare part on 27th Jan 2012. Today it has been 21 days and they do not know when the part will come. Please tell me which door to knock. I request you to change this spare part free of cost since your company has given me enough harassment. But if it is the strategy of the company then I will have to take shelter in legal recourse.
