[Resolved] Sony Camera DSC W35 — High Service Charge | |||
Purchased a DSC W35 Digital Still Camera (7.2MP) in 2007 from Vashi, Navi Mumbai for Rs. 15000.00 +. My son broke the lens assembly gears by switching on and putting pressure on lens assembly when it was coming out. I went to a service center. They quoted a Rs. 5000.00 price for changing the lens assembly as they do not change gears only. I told them today a 8MP camera from any other manufacturer is available for Rs. 5000.00, why should I get this repaired and why should I buy a sony again? They were just not bothered. I spent Rs 12000 and bought a Nikon with 14MP!! Sony RIP Was this information helpful? | |||
