[Resolved]  Sony Ericsson — Aino U10i handset dead in 6 months

This is very sad for a company like Sony Ericsson that even after spending 19,000 rupees on a mobile phone, a customer is not given the. I had been a brand loyal to the company and had used K810i phone earlier and used it for 3 years and again bought a Sony phone Aino (U10i) but the phone is dead before even 6 months since I bought it!!! (it was told to me by the authorized service centre people), they gave me a WORK ORDER NO. SE[protected]. And I was asked to leave the phone at the centre for 20 days and then only I’ll be told the status of the mobile condition but when I took the number from the net and called on 39011111, I was asked to call again in 4 working days and I was again given a complaint no.[protected]. If 4 days were enough, then why was misguided earlier. I’m a working woman and my shift timings are not fixed so how can I revert back again and again.How can i get the set replaced because I have searched on the internet and came through the same problems with the set Aino U10i in 5-6 months of purchase not just with me but with many others.

Sony Ericsson u10i — Don't buy sony Ericsson handsets

Dear Sony Erricson ,
My name is Mrs. Arpita Agrawal. I am writing this email to express my strong negative remarks about a high end Sony Ericson hand set and extremely bad customer service of your company. When ever we call the customer care the receptionist handles the call and there is no one to help.
I purchased Sony Erricson u 10i in the month of Septebmer 2009.
When you spent around Rs 28,000 on a cell phone obviously your expectations have been a lot. But buying this expensive cell phone from sony Ericcon has been a real pain. Since the day I started using it it had problems related to Call Drop within seconds, non functioning of touch screen, problem in the on /off button, and not to mention but the design is such that your hair gets stuck in the slider area.
Ohh my god ! when a customer spends a hugh amount of money this is what he/she gets.
I went to the customer care, they said it’s a soft ware issue so they very confidently updated the software. But nothing changed and situation because worse.
Next time I took the hand set to the customer care again , and they again updated the soft ware. Already I had lost 4 months time and was not able to use the hand set.
The third time I told them that updating the software again and again is making no sense, rather do something concrete. So they took my hand set and replaced its mother board. After one week I got my hand set back.
Problem is still not solved and sony service station has put scratches on my High End Hand Set, and also cracked the rim of camera while replacing the hand set.
So now my brand new Phone has a Bad Mother Board, a hanging touch screen, scratched key board and broken camera Rim. All for so much money.
Let me tell you now what I am going to do:
Social media is very active, I always have an habit of buying High End hand Sets, a lot of people get influenced by our ratings on cell phones. I will make sure that I will be doing a lot on facebook, orkut, twitter , you tube and Of Course C-NET. Then only you will know how to treat your customers well.
Also television media always looks for such issues.
I am also filing a law suit against Sony Erricson for cheating customers buy selling them hand sets which have terrible software problems.

i don't think that our complaints are even heard because still there is no improvement or any feedback from this website...my mobile is still lying with sony ericcson and i'm not even given a particular date.every time i call them, they ask me to call after 1 week.this is literally humiliating for a big company like sony.i'm even told that the model is no more coming in the indian market so if i'll meet any problem in future what should i do???
