From the time I have bought this TV for Rs.80,0000 from Vijay Sales Mumbai, it is giving me problems. This is the 3rd time in 2 years I have to get this part repared, spending around Rs.6000 each time. Infact, the LG 26" i bought the same day for Rs.30000 has not given a single problem to date. I strongly advise NOT to buy Sony Bravia as the model is defective and a white elephant with defunct / non-existant Sony customer service. I would rank it as the MOST UNTRUSTABLE BRAND atleast in India.

Sony Bravia — Not working

I brought new sony Bravia 32 inch. after 2-week it is not functioning.
I log complaint through phone but no person came for this.

    Dear Sir,
    Kindly refer to my Log information no. 10611682 and job information[protected] dated 17/05/2009 , In this job my LCD was changed as it was broken when I was carrying notebook to Delhi having recurrent problem of WiFI since I purchased laptop some times it works some time not . When ever WIFI stops working , notebook show no wireless network is available I repeatedly reinstall the software with total computer recovery but it doesn’t solved the problem trying to identify the problem whenever I opened device manager wireless hardware was not showing. Then I visited to your Mohan cooperative service centre Mathura road New Delhi this problem was rectified as Engineer told me that problem was some loose connection and problem solved, as I already told you while I was taking my vaio to service centre Delhi my machine fell down from car seat to car floor and my lCD was broken , then LCD was also changed I paid 21,422 bucks having invoice no. 11663723/19.05.2009/15 : 3 :57

    I purchased VGN Z26GN vaio model having serial no. 7002278 on 31st march, Since then this wifi problem was on and off . I handed over my machine to Smile Care Authorized Service Centre of Sony in Dehradun. They sent my vaio to Delhi .After 3-4 days service centre gave me estimate of repair and asked me to give consent , As i was helpless ,thinking that whatever parts required to be changed has to be changed , having no option I gave consent.

    After repair I was intimated that take the delivery of your machine, Paying 30,275 bucks in which service charges were also added with some old changed parts.

    When i looked the returned parts I came to know that due to cracked lower back body part of vaio, back part was necessary to changed, But key board and its assembly was also replaced which was not required. i am not able to understand that why key board and its bed replaced while it was absolutely O.K.

    As if palm rest was already changed then what was the utility of changing key board and its assembly.
    What was the utility of changing key board and its assembly. All these parts are not in one piece. they all are different parts and attached with screws and you can remove palm rest removing screws. why this assembly was changed giving financial load of 10,000 bucks.

    It is very embarrassing that such a reputed company is doing just for making money or ease . I always have been a consumer of Sony my all electronic appliances belongs to Sony. I had sent you a mail approx 20 days back with 8 photos of key board but it came back not delivered to you probably having large data,. Now I am writing you again without photos. Sony is highly rated and renowned company and I want serious action, kindly see the matter as soon as possible.

    Now I am going to tell you that after repairing I giving you some feedback. Some other problems started which is not excusable and much harassing.

    Problem -1 wifi position is same sometimes it works and some time not
    .
    Problem-2 There is a eject button on the right side of machine just near the speaker is not working, a new problem generated.

    Problem-3 whenever I carry it to my hospital and switch on it does not start.

    6 days back I visited your service centre in Dehradun and told the problem, he removed the battery and keep pushing the start button for 2 minutes then he installed the battery it started, he told me that he reset the machine not knowing why this problem started. Now I have to reset in same way to start notebook not every time but frequently. So tell me what should I do, Should I write Blog or contact consumer protection agencies leading litigation damaging your company’s reputation. Please try to understand my problem I am being harassed mentally, physically, officially and financially. ,

      I bought this model SATIO around 15 days back. and now i firmly believe that i have burnt my 31000 rs.Thanks to sony Ericsson. its a completely useless cellphone. hangs in every 15 to 20 minutes. ringtone goes off on its own. i need to check it after every 15 minutes only to discover that i have got missed calls. i have used two models of sony Ericsson ( P 910i & P 990 ) and was extremely satisfied. but this time you guys just duped me. i called service center and get to know that they can only reinstall the software nothing else. since i used to work with Samsung mobiles i know these problems cannot be solved with software up gradation. can u please give me back my money ?? or should i go to consumer court. ?? i really cannot stand this phone and this brand name any where in my life now onwards. i have ample of free time i'll go and sit in front of your outlets and scream to everybody about my problem. i'm ready to pay 5000 as a punishment ( for buying a sony phone ) ..but please return my 26000...hoping to receive an affirmative answer.

      me also being one of the most stupidest, dumb customer in getting this phone . I dont see any advantages in it not even the camera . I feel my N82 have done a better job sorry it done the best.
      I started to face the issue from the day 1, in hearing songs the songs get strucked and in viewing pics i get a lines and when i went to the service center they said they have updated the latest software and other issue is not resolved and the response what i got from the service center is so careless and they havent even heared about the issue
      being a high end phone we dont have the most simple option "Equaliser" when i asked about this got a update says its build in auto equaliser i dont feeel the sound quality in it . I need to know what are the advantages in this phone can any one help me in this

      i bought the satio one week ago through optus, and i am so disappointed that i did. It is repugnant. I have started writing out a list of faults i have encountered, one fault per line, and have filled one A4 page so far. This list doesn't include repeated issues either - each line is a different type of fault i've found. I've updated the phones' software twice to no avail. If this piece of doesn't get replaced i'm going to go to the ombudsman. No phone this bad should be available for purchase!
      i like it ! i love the camera. mine works just fine BUT i just cannot login to facebook or anyother site where you have to login ! it worked okay before i dont know what happened at of sudden. whenever i press login the main menu opens and it doesnt login ! can anyone tell me what's wrong with it please. :(
      i know it sucks but i still love it and i cant part with it. :((

        When i am trying to open Applications and Games on file manager it does'nt opens and shown a msg that operation failed. please give me solution for solving this.

        sir,
        I have formatted my mobile by just connecting to the PC.But its internal memory has been reduced from 77MB to 67MB, and also i cannot add or download any applications to the mobile.While downloading it starts to download but after it gets completed IT SHOWS "OPERATION FAILED", and also the VideoDJ was not working properly. I cannot add any video in to the VideoDJ.Its simply shows memory full and showing 66MB free memory in the phone.
        What can i do for this problem?Reply me...

            I bought a Sony Ericsson phone on Jan,6 2009. After 6 months o[censored]sing this phone, the phone started to show various troubles. In the first week of July the keypad stopped working properly, so I deposited the phone at the service centre for repairs. The services provided by the service center were pathetic as they never picked up the calls. I had 2 travel 30km just to know the status of my repairs where a simple phone call would have done the job. So 20 days later I received my phone back with no apparent problems but with 15 days of receiving the phone the screen and the system connecter of the failed to work, my phone stopped charging and to make matters worst the screen became blank. I went the very next day to deposit the phone at another service center because of my previous bad experience with the first service center. Again I received my phone after 15 days with the in charge of the center personally telling me that I won’t face any problems with the phone. Within a week of this the phone screen started to flicker, so without any option I went back to the service center. Since the problem was not so intense the manager told me to return only when the problem becomes intense. I returned to the service center exactly 3 days after this date, when the problem became intense. Since then the phone is with the service center.
            I have sent emails on the website seeking for a replacement but have received the mails for none. Even the letter I had sent to them last month has not fetched me any reply.
            I am keen in getting a replacement for phone but sony ericsson is not even concerned about people who buy their mobile phones I have copies of all the job sheet that I have received from them.

            I am enclosing the letter sent to them as well as the workorder sheet for reference.

              Dear Sir,
              Having a NUMBER 1 image in mind of SONY Corporation throughout the world I purchased Sony Music System MHC-GNZ8D, Serial number 6115388 on 27th Aug 2006. And from then till today (more than 3 years) the Music system performed beyond expectations in all aspects. The performance of the Music system converted my “CONFIDENCE ON SONY” to “RESPECT FOR SONY”.
              And I carry forwarded the respect by recommending Sony Products to all my near and dears. The sale of atleast 3 Handy cams, 5 cyber shot cameras can be attributed to my feedback along.
              But 2 months back I started facing some small problems in the system like Key operation hard, Key malfunctioning and Disc Exchanger malfunctioning, so I submitted it for servicing to one of the Authorized service center in Aurangabad and the details are as follows
              Date of submission: 17th Oct 2009
              Challan –CUM- Dispatch Note number – 3077

              Service center Address is
              Creative Electronics, LR 04, Kuber Avenue B,
              Opposite Hotel Athiti, Jalna Road, Aurangabad-431005,
              Maharashtra.

              They replaced some parts like Optical Block, Motor, FR Belt, B Belt and switches and charged me Rs. 1786.
              They rectified some of the problems and “AS A BONUS ADDED SOME MAJOR PROBLEMS TO MAKE SONY PROUD OF THEIR SERVICE”.

              The problem in the system is that the sound output of system is not increasing once it is increased from 25 to 30 level.

              And since 17th Oct 09 when I first submitted the system to service center I am struggling to get my system rectified.
              I have visited them 15 times, made them around 50 calls and submitted the system 3 times (Can be cross checked with Job card available with the service center), but both of the problems still persists and the system is lying at my home as it is.

              My respect scattered after this incidence and I was not able to believe that “SONY” talking of customer relationship management, one-to-one marketing, most valuable customer, and customer-centric focus.
              I cannot believe that SONY can provide such a pathetic service to its customers.
              I am not able to understand how you all manage such a world class service ???

              I am still writing this with a hope that my problem will be taken care. I request you to please look in to the matter as soon as possible.

                I recently bought a sony ericsson w395 its a very attractive phone if plan just to look at it, you are going to have some serious troubles if you plan to use it. As the phone usually hangs while playing songs(supposed to be of the walkman series) even if that's not irritation enough it is very slow when you access some large menu like list of songs from your memory card, on top of every thing there is no software support from the company side to improve any of these complains and apparently these defects are mostly manufacturing defects as they are found in almost all the w395s sold throughout India. If one is still skeptic about this then he/she can google any of these defects along with the phones name and see the results.I just want a phone that will suffice my needs of a good mp3 player and a normal phone and seriously this phone doesn't have the potential to do that. The company should atleast change there softwares so that they can perform a little bit better.
                its really slow...i thought its my cell fault but nw i realized that its the manufacturing fault...how should i over come ths?

                    This is in reference to a Sony Ericsson handset K810i, which I bought in January 09.
                    It was working fine till I found the 2 buttons at the right of the Joystick getting harder while pressing around September end. After a week’s time suddenly the screen disappeared and a white blank screen was showing while opening the cell phone.

                    I was shocked to see this as the phone didn’t hit the ground during that period and it was pretty unusual. So immediately I took that phone to the Sony Service center at Kamla nagar “Cariano”…the service they provided proves that one should not buy Sony Ericsson Handset ever.
                    They simply opened the handset and the guy said the buttons not working due to a liquid damage so it won’t be covered under the warranty…that statement was not acceptable because of the care I have showed towards my handset. I have always kept my handset protected under the laminated sheet in order to keep it safe from water or sweat.

                    After that I asked why the screen disappeared. They said the Power IC got fused…It’s a sheer crap and doesn’t make sense at all. They further told that we can’t repair this either as there is a chance, the handset might go dead.
                    So after a week’s time they finally returned my phone stating non repairable.
                    Again I showed this to another service centre in Roshnara Road, they even didn’t attend my issue at all as the phone has already been rejected by Cariano…

                    It’s so disheartening to see the service provided by Sony and the money I spent around 12K on buying a handset was just a worth 8 months?
                    Now after so much of struggle and disappointment, I swear I will not spend a penny on buying any Sony product nor on the repairs.
                    I want Sony to take care of this Faulty Handset or return my money back.

                    So please help and if i could get a contact details of any Service manager, or even the CEO,i dont mind complaining.

                      Excessive telecast of cid programme

                      Sony channel is telecasting cid programme begining from afternoon till 9.00 pm continuously episode after episode daily. The problem is that my son aged seven after coming from school sits before tv only watching cid episode after episode. The programme is based on the stories of double triple murders. Such programmes based on murder stories surely put negative impact on young minds. Telecasting of one episode is not objectionable but i wonder...

                      sony ericcson w200 — not working at all

                      I bought sony ericcson w 200 model in karaikal(pondicherry UT) xcellent mobile shop on jan 01, 2008. Two months back, i received one call, which i was not able to attend. Because earlier to my attempt to attened that call the mobile was switched off. since i have warrenty for free service i approached concerned mobile shop. but, after a month my moile was returned to me with the same problem and they replied that it was submerged inside water. actually it has not happened like that. u pl guide me to do rectification of my problem.

                            I have purchased a Sony Ericsson mobile (Model no-F-305, IMEI No-[protected]) on dated-22/2/09 for Rs.8300/- from Sun Teleservices, K-18, Lajpat Nagar, part-II, n.d-110024, Tel no[protected], 41724720, After 3 month of purchasing it started giving trouble to me like hanging , low battery backup ,speaker problem , then after I consulted to Sony Ericsson customer care from where I got guidance that I should go to customer Service Centre and hand over to service centre I went to service centre Techno care , E-17, ground floor, central market, Lajpat Nagar, part-II, Tel no[protected],[protected], I lodged my complain on dated 3/6/09 from them I got complain id no- SE [protected], same day service centre representative shorted out my handset problem and given to me ,after spending a few day I felt that my handset trapped in same problem and this time a new problem was screen display was added away I was in trouble due to this handset there was no way only to consult with customer care representative from there customer care representative once again advised to me go same place it means Techno care I submitted my handset on 4th August,2009 with complain id SE-309TEC 13259 . On 18th August it means after 14 days I got my handset but problem was not shorted out even I made a humble request to service centre kindly replace my handset but they strongly denied. I through it could be general fault. That is why I went there two times but I got nothing from there. I am still unsatisfied with those services. It is not only with my handset the person who is carrying the same model no I.e-f-305 phone also facing the problem of same features Day by day the new problem are added in my handset like it I press any button of my mobile phone then contact option comes out on my mobile screen . it means it is not working like other normal mobile phones. After facing the long period of trouble in my phone ultimately I submit to it at service centre on Techno care , E-17, ground floor, central market, Lajpat Nagar, part-II, because its me nearest service centre on dated 15/09/209 after talking with customer care representative. This time my work order no is SE309TEC15482 and Sony Ericsson customer care complains id no is 85115865. Again now-a-day I am facing problem i.e phone is not charging, hanging, network and working very slow. I am very disappointed with the service of my handset and service centre. I must want replacement of my phone or pay back my money.

                              Hi, I am bought Sony Ericsson G900 mobile on 07 Nov 2008. I am usually customer of Nokia but looking at the feature of Sony Ericsson I got attracted and bought this G900 at the cost of Rs 20,000.When a person buys such a costly cell its always an expectation that it will beworkable with mentioned features. My expectation with the cell phone is to get the mentioned featured workable at least under warranty period. The day I bought the cell it was a big trouble for me till now, 7 to 8 time its been repaired. The majority of the time job sheet been created under Sony Ericsson Kalyan branch with poor service The Receptionist looks to be illiterate . Number of time I need to travel to Thane Sony Ericsson service center.Now in 11 Months of experience the cell was under repair center for 3 to 4 months this shows I not enjoyed the experience at all and its one of the worst experience I am having. I bought new Nokia cell so that once G900 go under repair I can use this. You can understand what impression running under my mind for G900 serviceafter spending 20K.

                              The Status is that the cell phone is again with non-workable status at RT Outsourcing Vikhroli (Mumbai) with“Hanging Problem and No display”. Now looking at the cell it seems the Display (screen) is getting changed. It’s hard for me to use cellc osting 20k having each part being repaired. It seems the problem exists with cell phone. The majority parts of the Cell phone is been replaced (Touch screen, Mother board, Displayscreen) and I think with such condition it’s not possible for me to accept the repaired cell phone further.
                              Now i got call from them to collect cell. I asked them for get it replace by RT Outsourcing and even sony ericsson service center they are not doing it. what i do they are not ready to do that.
                              I not accepted the cell yet can anyone please tell me wht i do.

                              I also buy Sony Ericsson on 01.12.2009. & the same go into Dead Mode on 21.12.2009.

                              When I visited Sony Ericsson Service Centre, they asked me to deposited the Mob Set & they take 2 week to return my Set after replacing Mother Board.

                              For 2 weeks i was disconnectd from all . Whenever I contacted their Call Centre/ Service Centre. Every time I was asked to contact after 3-4 Days.

                              I feel Sony Ericsson is moving to its worst phase in terms of Quality & Customer Care.

                              i too have faced too many problems with the G900 set, is their any way by which we all who are having problem with the set come together and the company for a complete replacement of the handset.
                              or any other solution plz. advice...
                              do we have an insurance for mobile also.

                                I had given you two sets of Sony Music systems for repair on 25/08/2009 to M/s Club Electronics, authorized service centre for SONY, which were handed over to me on 27/08/2009 saying that these have been repaired and functioning perfectly, and was charged Rs.7000/- for repairs.

                                On installing the system at my home the system again started giving problem so I called sony's office the same day i.e 27/08/2009 around 4 PM and spoke to Mr. Dinesh ( Enigneer who repiared ) and was told that he would visit and check the same at the site.

                                After a week when nobody came I called again and got the same answer and the person gave me a complaint number I/12/05. The other system also started giving problems.

                                But again the same response when I called again, again I was given a complaint number K/14/03.

                                Since there was no response from their end I visited their service centre at south extension on 14/11/2009 along with both the sets which were kept there and another Job Information numbers were given.

                                I recieved a call from them that I would have to pay Rs.3000/- for repair of one set.

                                I wish to inform you that you that these people are using spurious or sub-standard parts for repairs that is why the set gets damaged the same day. This is their modus of working so that the poor customers come back to them and they keep on charging them again and again.

                                SONY DVD — SPURIOUS DVD

                                I PURCHASED A SONY DVD PLAYER ON 4.10.08 FROM " DEY TRADERS, 57 A B ROAD, RATHTALA, K L SHOW MARKET(1st floor), FINGAPARA, KANKINARA, 24PGS(N), PIN 743126". BUT SINCE I BOUGHT THE DVD IT WAS GIVING TROUBLE INSPITE OF MY SEVERAL REQUESTS AND REMINDERS THE "DEY TRADERS" DID NOT BOTHER TO RECTIFY IT. THEN I PERSONALLY WENT TO THE SONY SERVICE CENTRE AT BARASAT AND TO MY UTTR SHPCK CAME TO KNOW THAT THE DVD IS NOT AN ORIGINAL ONE, IT IS SPURIOUS.
                                I SHALL BE GREATFUL IF YOU KINDLY TAKE STRONGLY ACTION AGAINST THE "DEY TRADERS" AND FORCE HIM TO REPLACE THE DVD.
                                I have sony DVP - NS530 DVD player Which is not working. Its show can not play ERROR. Please help me

                                SONY DVD RW, DVD/CD ROM, it works for 6 - 7 months correctly with no issues, maximum of 10 months, then is stats the problems. I have got writing problems, i always use sony disks to write Datas. When we go the dealer shops to ask about the services of sony, they will say sony servicing are too bad, if you got the problem within the warrenty period then they will look. Otherwise they wont!!! My SONY DVD RW, DVD/CD ROM is only 18 months old. Now onwards i suggest to every one, not to buy SONY DVD RW, DVD/CD ROM. They only got a good brand names, the other things are really bad. Buy some other burnner. If you ask to the dealers also, they will say Sony DVD RW, DVD/CD ROM is good, but buy other other DVD RW, DVD/CD ROM thats good for you. What is this means?

                                  sir,
                                  this is to inform that i have purchased a f305 handset which i am nor satisfied with. 0.1 mb of phone memory automatically reduces in 2 or 3 days. also there is a problem regarding the presets of music player changes as soon as song is changed. the o and x keys are losing their colour. i have already reported my problem to e-17 sony ericsson service centre. they updated the software but nothing happened.

                                    Iam a great member of your Sony family for the last 5 years.I request you to visit my residence once to prove this point.I don’t use any other brand than the spell bounding term SONY.I use Sony tv,handycam,home theatere,digital camera for a long time but all these products are trouble free.But it was my ill fate that inspired by these performances I brought a SONY(550i) cell phone on 04.12.2008.After the very first month only the performance was not as per SONY standards.So long it was functioning I did not have time to rectify minor defects.But off late since 23/10/09 I am really disappointed.Till date I have given my set for repair at Babli Media-Gariahat but it is not working.First I was told the Software was upgraded(vide work order SE309BMG10963) but it only worked for 4 days.Again the same problem occurred and I gave it to your service centre(work order SE309BMG10983) AND THIS TIME I WAS TOLD THE Mother Board was changed all the way from Chennai but not to any effect.Again I was forced to send the set at your service centre on 13.11.09(work order SE309BMG11174).

                                    I request you to see that this set is replaced at the earliest as they are unable to repair the same but are harassing me time and again.

                                    Sir I brought new xperia e dual handset on 27 mar 2013 after few days I started facing hang problem call auto cut unresponsive touch screen no voice during call so I visited the service centre they just reinstall the same old software despite new was showing on there site again it started hanging now I am very much fed up from your service kindly replace my set ASAP
                                    sir, i bought sony experia m on 28.10.13..with in 3 days i have faced heavy heating problem with in 5 mins from operating, burning smell came near headset port. so i handed over my phone to sony authorised service centre, coimbatore( cross cut road) for replacement immediately...

                                    as of now 12 days crossed, still i have not received my replacement. job sheet has been created same day itself.

                                    what is the real status now.i need my replacement immediately, since i dont have altrenate mobile.pls do the needfull.

                                      I am now in Dubai. on sept 21 me buy a sony ericson mobile model G705.shop name is Royal status,behind astoria hotel dubai. After 10 it has no display and not working then i went to that shop and asked what is the complaint then the technician said its software was gone and he repaired that.the same problem repeated 4 times and now i buy a new mobile for my use. the shop owner said sony ericsson have only warranty he will not replace that with new one what i will do.
