[Resolved]  Sony Ericsson Service Center — Sony Ericsson Mobile Service Complaint

Its been almost 11 months of me using Sony Ericsson W910i phone. It is very unpleasnt for me to tell you that I almost got a very unsatisfactory experience from my handset. I gave my handset which is in warranty till 10th of october, 2009, to an authorised Sony Ericsson service center in Vashi, Mumbai.
The follwoing are the problems after the diagnosis:-
1. Software Problem
2. Key pad problem

The following is my experience to the center:-
1. I gave my handset on 1st of October. The timigs as mentioned on website and as told to me from call center do not match. I waited for almost 1hr to get my phone into the service process since the center was shut till 11Am in the morning. On 4th of October I called to get the update on my phone process. They told me that WORK IS UNDER PROCESS, and was told to call in the evening as it would be done.
2. I called center on 5th October to get to know about the status. It was happy to know that my phone is totally repaired and there is dont need to pay any thing since it is covered under warranty. I asked, when do they shut down. I got a reply, it closes at 7 in the evening.
3. I reached the center to collect the phone. I was shocked to know that my phone was not repaired and shop closes at 8 PM. I almost left my office and work to collect my phone, and cancelled my meetings to collect it. The concerned Person Mr. Javed replied me that we never said so that the phone is repaired. Aslo there i got to know that i need to pay Rs. 1100 to get it repaired and which i will get after 11-12 working days as the parts are still unavailable. Mr Javed gave me a very unpleasant replies to my question and told me do what ever you can, we will not handle your case.
4. I have no clue what need to be done further. It was astonishing to know that the same experience happend with couple of customers in a day with the same handset.

Hi,

It has been more than 25 days, and i have not yet got my cell back.I was told that you will get your cell phone within
15 day's and till now i hav not got my cellphone back.Not even they have courtesy to call me and tell me the status .
And whenever i submit my cell phone they don't handle it with care.The number which is provided is also not working.
Kindly do something about this.I have submitted my phone in thane branch, the one which is in eternity mall.

Yes I am also agree with Navnit earlier I also went to vashi service centre for one key pad.They are ready to give me the key pad but they are charging three times more than actual rate.When i asked why it is.One of the authorized person said This is our rate if you want than you can take other wise you can go.You can do what ever you want.They are cheaters

Same thing happened with me as well.

This is Satyawan, i am using W910i sony ericsson handset which i bought in the month of Feb, 2010. i was very loyal customer of Sony till this experience.

Handset is giving me many problems such as Speaker not working, Keypad problem, etc.

When i showed it to service center in BSEL, 1st floor, Vashi they said, your handset is out of warranty as it has liquid damage even though my handset is never exposed to liquid.

Pathetic experience with Sony Ericsson Service center. i think they just want reasons to reject the repaires.
i am using x10 mini pro for last 2 months in Delhi. But today my second vidit to Mumbai, and suprisingly phone worked OK for 1 hour with "R" symbol...but afterwords showing continuous red cross with no network. Although Airtel SIM is working properly with other GSM phones, why not with x10 mini pro. Your only service center in entire navi mumbai remain close from 1 to 3 pm only because the owner of it is NAMAZee. what to do now...??? i am missing my important office calls...
