[Resolved]  Sony Ericsson W580i — mobile repair

I purchased W580i from one Electronic Showroom in Dubai on Mid of 2008.i used without complaint arround 11 months, after that i am facing lot of problems with this mobile, Key pad not working, Display not working, Blutooth, automaticaly switch off. Please let me know the address of the Sony Ericsson Service centre in United Arab Emirate (UAE) or is it possible to replace the mobile.

I have faced the same issue with Sony handsets they were unable to repair it even sa the handset was in warranty. ...shameful service

Mobile Handset is good but after some time handset creates problem which is unsolvable. Personal view - Don't purchase Sony Ericcson Handsets.

,ON JULY 12 THE SAID MOBILE WAS SUBMITTED TO THEIR GALLERY FOR REPAIRS .. RELATING DISPLY ... TILL THIS DATE NO CLEAR INFORMATION ABOUT ITS REPAIR. ONE TELEPHONE CALL NEARLY MONTH BACK STATING THAT THE PIECE WAS SENT TO CHENNAI HEAD OFFICE , FOR REPAIRS BUT DUE TO DISSATISFACTORY REPAIRS WAS SENT BACK TO CHENNAI ONCE AGAIN... NOW THE MATTER IS NEARLY 2 MONTH OLD .. SINCE THEN NO INFORMATION WHAT SO EVER. FROM THE COMANY, ONLY REPLY FROM THEIR SITE THAT THEY ARE SORRY FOR IT .. AND THATS ALL

sonyericsson W580i — mobile not on

I bought W580i 15 months back, and now the cell was not starting at all, when I checked out at the Sony Ericsson service center at Vizag, they told me that its Motherboard was damaged.

They told than the motherboard cant be replaced and suggested me to buy a new mobile, its very bad just after the completion of the warrenty motherboard got damaged, and even in the warrenty period i have got many problems and have given my mobile 3 times to the service center for repair.

Isn't there any solution for this, I thought SONY was one of the best in mobiles, but now i got to know that it was one of the WORST both in manufacturing and even in servicing.

Finally I Request Everyone not to buy a Sony Mobile and waste their Valuble Money and Time
