Dear Sir,

I own a Laptop FE890 which I procured from US in 2007.
I had a problem with DVD drive & Wi-fi not working, but the laptop was in working perfectly fine. Hence I gave the laptop for service at Sony Service outlet in Rajajinagar, Bangalore.At the time of taking the laptop they mentined that they need to recover the harddisk and needed my consent on that. I was open for it as i wanted my laptop to work properly.
Couple of weeks later they called me up telling that the harddisk has failed and hence the recovery did not happen properly and told to me change the harddisk or take back the laptop in the same condition I gave.
So finding the hard disk to expensive to invest and thought of taking it back.
When i went to take my laptop, it was completely conked off. In the sense it was was not in the condition i gave. They said they will check and come back to me later.
After a week they called me and said that the mother board is corrupted and the laptop is totally off.
I was petrified and send mails all across the cusomter service of SONY for help but of no use. One fine day one of the executives called me to tell that they can repair the laptop at the discounted cost of 30,000 rupees else would have costed 54,000rupees.
I dont know what to do. I have the related service bill details with me.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    Sub: Problem in Sony Ericsson Hand Set.
    Model: K-220i
    IMEI No:[protected]

    I would like to discuss with you an important and serious issue regarding My Sony Ericsson Hand Set Purchased on Dated 16th Jan 2009, from M/S Impression Gallery who is an authorized dealer of Sony Ericsson in Saharanpur.
    But due to some technical fault , the mobile was not working properly since the Purchase Date and normally used to get Hang many times. Also like to inform you that I also got repaired from one of your certified service centre (M/S.A.V. communications , Saharanpur), but again the problem repeated and the mobile was not working properly.

    Further I again submitted my Hand Set at the care centre but this time they told me that there is some problem with the mother board of the handset and it needs to be replaced from their Delhi Office. After one and a half month, I got it back but again it was in same condition and the problem was still not solved.

    Now Since then till today, the hand set is not with me and it is still at your service centre waiting for a part to be replaced.

    Now I am sorry to mention here that I had got fed up with the situation and I am bound to write you in this regard, therefore I request you to please look in to the matter and get my problem solved at your end, either by replacing my hand set with the same model or any other model.

    I hope that you will solve my problem as early as possible and you will not bound me to file the case through consumer forum.

    hello sir.my name is kiran.i purchase sonyericsson w 205 mobile .with IMEI no[protected] on Nov 2009 in big bazaar r (ameerpet branch ), Hyderabad.it get hang and some times its fail to recognize the charger and headset service center people said to me that problem in mother board .nearly 3 time i give it for service but they r fail to rectify the problem.sonyericsson service center also not able to identify the warranty period using s/n also...

      I PURCHASED A SONY VAIO LAPTOP MODEL NO. VPCCW15FN/R, MACHINE SERIAL NO. 7001517 FROM SKY SOLUTIONS, LAXMI NAGAR NEW DELHI ON 02 DEC 2009. AFTER THREE MONTH O[censored]SE SUDDENLY MY DVD/CD ROM STOPPED WORKING, IT WAS UNABLE TO READ ANY KIND OF DVD/VCD/MP3/AUDIO CD/BLANK CD. I CALLED UP SONY VAIO SUPPORT CENTER FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY GAVE ME SOME ASSISTANCE ON PHONE SO AS TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM, BUT IT WAS NOT RESOLVED AS IT WASN'T A SOFTWARE PROBLEM. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT IT IS DEFINITELY A HARDWARE PROBLEM AND I HAVE TO VISIT A SERVICE CENTER TO REPLACE THE DVD/CD ROM TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE.

      FURTHER, I AM A CENTRAL GOVT EMPLOY AND WORKING UNDER MINISTRY OF DEFENCE, I HAVE BEEN TRANSFERED FROM DELHI TO PORT BLAIR (ANDAMAN AND NOCOBAR ISLAND) AND THERE IS NO SERVICE CENTER OF SONY VAIO PLACED ON THIS ISLAND. THEN HOW CAN I VISIT A SERVICE CENTER. THERE ARE OTHER NOTE BOOK COMPANIES (LIKE ACCER, DELL, HP) THOSE WHO HAVE THEIR SERVICE CENTERS AT THIS ISLAND BUT THE SONY DOESN'T HAVE ONE,

      I MADE ARROUND 6 CALL TO SONYINDIA LTD IN THIS MATTER AND EVERY TIME I HAVE BEEN TOLD TO VISIT EITHER KOLKATA OR CHENNAI WHICH IS AROUND 1800 KMS SEA/ ARIAL ROUT. AND THE COST INVOLVED TO VISIT THESE PLACES IS AROUND Rs 20000/-, IN THIS CASE WHO WILL PAY THE EXPENSES OF VISIT A SERVICE CENTER, WHY CANNT SONY INDIA VAIO TIE-UP WITH ANY OF THE SISTER NOTEBOOK MANUFACTURES COMPANIES TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM AT PORTBLAIR IT SELF, AS MY MOVEMENT FROM THIS ISLAND IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE IN NEXT SIX MONTH AND I AM FACING LOTS OF MENTAL AS WELL AS TECHNICAL/FINANCIAL PROBLEM DUE TO THE INCIDENCE.

        better delete these mail or mark those as spam because these are very common and as per this i get more than 6 mail in a week claiming about 20 million dollar i have won in some kinda weird lottery ...please delete them they are just bogus never shar your personal information on this kinda mail

          Dear Sir,

          I am Ganesh from Tamil Nadu, After long saving to buy a TV, i planed to buy Sony LCD TV. Once i was in shop. I Explained my needs of futures like Audio output mainly, And the shop keeper leaded me to buy KLV26BX300 this model, Which won't at all support with the Audio output. I totally disagree with the product that they suggested me to buy. I really dis pointed, why they are selling TV with the suggested model to a customer.

          The TV bought and it kept without using. I don't know what to do with this TV. Hole my Saving to buy TV went in wrong way. Which the Sony is not excepting, cheating sell's has done by their provider.

          I need justice form Sony.

          Places help me out to change my TV model.

            I am having the bill and box, it was new puchased
            Sir,
            I am Irene Paul.K. I am physically handicapped. Moreover I am a State Government Employee working in the Office of the District Government Pleader at THRISSUR, KERALA, INDIA. On deciding to upgrade my existing handset, I purchased on the very 1st day of the year 2009, a Sony Ericsson Handset W 200 i, thinking that this MNC product will satisfy my needs. But to my dismay, after 146 days the famouns Sony Ericsson Handset failed to work. The next day, 23.05.09 I approached your authorised Service Centre at Thrissur M/s. Cellular Care, Thrissur - 1 and handed over the set. After 3 months ( this period is very lengthy. I did not expect from a MNC this sort of delay in rectifying the defects within the Warranty period) I got the set after replacing its BOARD. Thereby changing its EMEI Number is [protected]. Upon getting the set from my father who fetched it from the Service Centre, (as my movement is limited due to physical deformity) I switched ON the set. Alas, the Handset went wrong again. The next 2 days being holidays due to 15th August & Sunday, my father again contacted your Service Centre and complained the faulty set and handed over the same. They said that the Handset will be sent to Chennai for repair or replacement whatever the company feels fit.

            Sir,
            I, being physically handicapped and being a woman, I am in dire need of a good Handset. Now I am without the Handset for the last 3 months and experiencing much difficulty in my routines. My colleagues are blaming me on purchasing this sort of Handset. So I request you to please send me a new Handset instead iof repairing or replacing the BOARD in order to uplift the prestige of the famous Brand Sony Ericsson, and for not giving chance to my colleagues to blame me again.
            Besides I request, Sir, to grant the set full Warranty period with effect from the date of deliverying the new Hand Set to me. It may please be noted that I am not willing to pay any payment consequent on issuing me a new Handset.

              Hi Friends,
              when i insert memory card in given slot, then my phones display blinks blankly(only white display blinking). There is no problem with my memory card, coz i have checked that card in other same device... i have tried my friends memory cards which are in working condition...... but in my phone it occurs same problem.....

              Sony Ericsson W700i — outgoing barred

              I am very sorry to inform you that my out going facilities barred second time first on 160408 and now 190408, even my cr bal. is sufficient. My mobile no is [protected].I have no option to inform customer care.Single facility given by airtel to lodged any complain in only 150 character on 121.This is also barred in this situation. There is no facility given to contact with cust care representative.If i have to talk any cust. representative, I have to proceed on leave and wait in queue minimum 4 to 6 hour, if reach on 10.00am.If I reach 12.00pm security guard will say "come on next day".This is the situation of airtel customer care Patna.You can imagine the situation of customer. Please care and give facility to contact with cust.care representative if they have any problem, thanks

                  mobile repair

                  i have a handset of sony ericsson w580i. i have buyed it in feb 2008 for rs 10,800/-. i used it only 8 months. after that i have changed script more than 5 time. n most of the time script is not matched if matched it work only for 5 to 6 months. now i m fed up by this handset.my handset no is fcc id:PY7A1052042 AND TYPE:AAC[protected]BV. NOW i have changed script but my keypad is not working. customer care is alos not giving me service properly....

                  I had visited at Neeru Enterprises P-21, KFC Basement, Sector - 18, Noida

                  But again in vain , Still my Handset is with Them saturday i had visited there i got confirmation on the same evening that my hand had been repaired , , I can go and Collect the same , sunday 10:30 Am i had visted there still the issue was the same, lady sitting at the desk again took my mobile and told me that we will check the same with you memory card again. As per the them they had indicated me that my Phone is fine , there is No issue with handset ,
                  But still want to confirm that is If i download more that 50 MB video file the processing Speed to the phone gets very slow , the phonme gets hang In b/w .
                  But in your website no where it had been mention that a customer will suffer after purchasing the phone .

                  Do you really work for your customer satisfaction then please stop the model S 312, b'coz like me many customer would be there who would be facing this kind of problem

                  Can you guys pls look into the matter and help to get the issue resolve if , you guys don't able to resolve the issue then please let know the futher escalation Matrix and Email id and contact no of your CEO & Marking head India, So that the same can be highlighted to them too

                  As I have always admired the Brand Sony Ericsson so keeping the same in my mind,purchased a mobile set from Feb 07 , IMEI number[protected] .

                  It was a lovely phone and gave me a pleasure and avail the world class services so again I planned to go for a new handset of Sony , taken Handset Model S- 312 , On DUSHHERA 09 After 3 days the mobile set started giving the trouble in terms of slow Processing, hanging Issue.

                  I was actually shocked since I never faced the same problem in my earlier set however it is more costlier than the previous one. Well I thought same must be a small problem (software issue) so same was escalated to Customer care desk.

                  I have been called by some Shalini (Sony Ericsson) from gurgoan She told me to visit Sector 27 Market (Noida) at their service center. I followed the instruction given and went to the service center but they have not checked the phone properly and said your phone is working fine and there is no problem at all.

                  But All in VAIN.

                  Issue never been resolved from the Side of Sony Ericsson .

                  I am also working , and its actually not possible for me to visit time and again at your service centers.

                  I am unable to understand few Question :-

                  # Is this the way to Handle a Customer who is always been loyal to the organization.
                  # This is how Sony commit that he has a satisfied customer base?


                  This was not enough, the mobile set was again started giving the problem in touch buttons with week network problem, and again I follow the same wizard as mentioned above. This time they refuse to register on-line complaint.

                  Now its more than enough. Mobile set is Not Working Fine Till Date .

                  I request you to swap my mobile set with new mobile Apart from S 312 along with extended warranty . As the loss which I incurred in business and mental torment due to these above problems.

                  If you do not fulfill my above requirements then I will have to make sure same will be highlighted in media and customer's should be aware how big complaints

                    This is to bring to your notice that I had given my Sony Ericsson mobile – K550 Serial No. –[protected] for repairing to Usha Infotech (P) Ltd., Authorised Service Center of yours on 15/12/2009, Bill Copy No.- St/513 . My Blue Tooth, Infrared, Power Switch was not working. They had informed me after inspection that they will make it right and the cost estimated given to me was Rs.1730/- . Your engineer name is Mr. Sekhar [protected] In the month of January they informed me that they had made it right and I can collect it from them. As I was in tour at that time I went to collect it on 03/02/2010. At first I was amazed to see a person (no idea whether he is a staff or not) is using my cell sitting in the front office by inserting another battery and tying it with a rubber band. When I wanted to see the set, he started deleting the photos taken by him. When I enquired he said me that the staff have right to use the customer’s set. When I inspected my set, I was amazed to see a spot on the LCD which was not intimated to me, though they are insisting that they have informed me regarding this. Moreover their office has been transferred to 75C, Park Street from 10A, Ho-Chi-Min Sarani which was also not intimated to me.



                    So my question is what is to be done from my side? Please advice and do the needful at your end ASAP.

                        i purchased sony ericsson w395 mobile handset 2 months back
                        i found that new themes cannot be instaled
                        & camera as company manual said it is not 2MP ,but it is a VGA camera
                        im totay unsatisfied with the mobile
                        Very slow!

                        I purchashed the Sony Ericsson W395 at Clearwater-Vodashop. I started using the phone on the 25 December and i immediately reconised that the phone was incredibly slow!! Especially going into my files and looking at the music. Everytime i used it, i got so irritated i felt like throwing the phone!

                        I took it to Vodacare to upgrade the firmware and the software to see if that would help. When i recieved it the next day, i noticed that nothing had changed the problem.

                        Please find a solution to this problem and get back to me immediately.

                          I take this opportunity to bring the case of The Vaio Notebook VGN -sz55gn/b t71001g Dated 4/11/07 in the name of sai deepa Bill no 0410x03631 from Harvey norman pertama merchandising pte ltd 315 outram rd #01-01/02 to your notice which is in your custody for past 2 months. The problem started with blue death screen being hit very often. When given to sony service centre, they ordered us to change the hard disk which was done at the cost of Rs 9000. But problem still remained unsolved It was given back to the sony service centre and now engineers feel problem is with the mother board.

                          Engineers are not sure what they are saying ,they just want to pull money for their mistakes, i would suggest to take the matter seriously ,can you people get back to me with the reply no one is bothered to atleast address the issue seroiusly and Rectify the problem ,If you people are working please response at the earliest ,Such a big organisation and no proper engineers to rectify the product ,If they r not able to rectify i insist to return my laptop and the repair charges which is been charged by the inefficient engineers , i would like to have response at the earliest as possible

                          The time taken for diagnostics and trouble shooting is absolutely pathetic and shocking.

                          This is to let you know that every product in my house including radio, Plasma TV, dvd player, tape recorder etc.. are all sony brand. My faith and satisfaction in sony has been on top. But with this purchase i am frustrated and confused at the treatment given to a loyal customer. This is unfprofessional on part of sony service centre engineers to blame it on each and every part of the product on trial and error basis. Now they want me to pay Rs. 16000 for the mother board. I sincerely do not think i need to pay this amount as this problem was brought to sony during my warranty period which can be traced on the following emails.

                          Hence i request you to take this matter seriously and act on it asap.

                            I purchased a Sony Ericsson W705 handset on 06/06/2009. It went dead on 30/12/2009. I gave it for repair to Sony Ericsson Service Centre Vaishnavi Enterprises (Road No. 2, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad) on 01/01/2010. I was charged Rs. 395 for general service but my phone was returned to me in the same dead condition and I was informed that it would cost around Rs. 2000 for repair (the display and the mike had to be replaced). I was told that my warranty would not accepted due to Liquid Damage. After that, I went to Sony Ericsson Service Centre Omnet Enterprises (Abids, Hyderabad) on 02/01/2010. I was reported that the handset had been "physically damaged" and "tampered"; it would cost approximately Rs. 2700 for repair. Then, I went to Accel Frontline Services Limited (S.D. Road, Secunderabad) on 27/01/2010. I was informed of a "crack in display"; the display was to be replaced; the estimated amount was Rs. 1500. I was told that this would be done within 4-5 days, but it wasn't. When I went to collect the handset on 06/02/2010, I was informed that it would take another week. So, I left a complaint on [protected] on the same day.

                            The handset has still not been repaired and the service centre cannot still tell me when and at what cost it can be done. Morover, I have no idea how my handset has apparently been "physically damaged" or "liguid damaged". My 6-month old handset has been damaged for no real reason and the service centres are unable to even repair it.

                            These Sony ericsson phones suck ...I am using W705 handset & this would be my first & last sony phone in my life...I swear i will never buy a sony phone again...I bought this phone just for Music quality but this turned out to be a wrong decision all togather...music quality is awsum but u have to lose everything in other features...i bought this phone in 2009 & 2010 it goes for a first repair the buttons were not working...they charged me 1200 bucks then again few months later display went off...now using the phone as it is...need to replace the display now...

                              I bought SONY WEGA 29 CRTV KVSR29M89K in 2005 and couple of weeks back its BC BOARD becasme faulty which lead to the flickering in the picture. My TV is still with service center and i already had a word with them hell lot of time and everytime they say that this particular part is ot avialbe.
                              My question is how this is possible that company make a TV and its parts are not available.

                                I Bishu Rizal a resident of Siliguri, West Bengal I had bought a Sony Cyber-Shot camera model no: DSC-W180/BC E37 (Sl.no 4064778) on 22nd of September 2009 from Spectrum Color Labs, Siliguri, West Bengal. There are problems in my camera they are listed below.
                                1. A picture turns yellowish if taken in sunlight that means a person whose pictures is taken his/her face turns yellowish, as if a person is suffering from jaundice.
                                2. I compared the pictures taken by my camera and other camera such as Kodak, Samsung etc.
                                3. I tried to take pictures in all modes i.e. auto, pgm, iso, soft snap, landscape, twilight portrait, twilight, beach, snow but the same problem persists.
                                4. The pictures taken by this camera is seen both in TFT and CRT screen as well as in print copy, but in CRT and print copy the differences(yellowish) comes clearly as compare to TFT screen.

                                I took this camera to Sony service centre in Siliguri .The service centre engineers are saying that the pictures taken by this model comes like this and they told me to compare the pictures with same model. I have never heard this type of statement from any company’s service support. I have questions in my mind:
                                • Does this model is manufactured and designed only for taking pictures for specific condition?
                                • Can’t I take pictures in sunlight?
                                • What are the exact conditions and modes to take pictures from this model?

                                  I have purchased Sony ericssion Mobile handset Model S312 after studying its features shown on company's website that this phone will also work as Modem. After its purchase & use, it has found that this set is not works as Modem when I connect it to my computer. To solve this problem, I have talked and tried to company's customer care service centre and comments. But all in vain.
                                  Now I request to you/ your company to please give the solution by which this Model S 312 can work as modem.
