[Resolved]  Sony Ericsson W595 — Service Center Not Providing Replacement

Description: I had purchased Sony Ericsson W595 (new set) on Dec 2008. However since April mid I had problems with my cell. It was unable to locate Service Provider network (No N/W bar indication).
The service center said it was beyond repair and so they would provide a new replacement cell as soon as possible.
Over the last one month, I have been repeated taking updates from them, with no avail. I get to hear different excuses every time i call them. It is not only frustrating but I also feel cheated.

Please help.

Sony ericsson / W595 Mobile — Faulty Product

I bought Mobile from Hypercity on 14th feb 2009.
Within 7 days camera had some problem.
Uptill July it hasnot been solved by both Hypercity and sony erricsson.

I purchase a mobile (SONY Erection W595) with Order no[protected] dated 16/07/09 with one year warranty from shopping.indiaties online shopping , payment mod credit card.

now this mobile is faulty and i send it for replacement by TNT courier on dated 19/2/10 DOC No.[protected] but unfortunately this is back to me without replacement, i make a request again i send this again on dated 6/3/10 by TNT Doc No[protected] and till date i have not received my mobile. i am suffering from 2 month.
and when i contact to costumer care they are not give me any satisfied answer or not transfer the line to the senior and give me time for next 7 days or 5 days and 10 days , what is my fault, why i am suffering.

Sony Ericsson — pathetic after sales service

I had bought Sony u100i yari mobile phone in November 2009 and within 5 months it stopped working, when i gave it to sony ericsson service center for servicing, i was informed by them that it will take 3 days to get it replaced as its keys are not working. It has been more than 1 month and i havent got my cell back. Can somebody help in this regard? whenever i call the service center they always say it will take 2 more days. Can somebody pls help me in this matter?
Facing exactly the same issue. My phone is with the service center for 25 days and they say it will take one more week. The only difference here is that they tell you it will be ready in 2days whereas I am told next week.
Had higher expectations from Sony.

Sony Ericsson W595 — Pathetic After Sales Service

I bought a Sony Ericsson W595 on the 25th Aug, 2009 with a 1 year warranty. After about 11 months, suddenly its screen started flickering. I took it to Neeru Enterprises, Sony Ericsson service center in Atta Market, Noida. They just opened the front panel and without checking the Liquid damage indicator, proclaimed that the indicator was red and that the warranty was void. They said that the screen needed to be replaced even though the screen was fine. Only a strip connecting the two parts of the slider phone was malfunctioning. I became suspicious and asked them to return my phone so that I could take it to another service center. But they made an entry of my phone on their server and put warranty status void (because of liquid damage) even though the indicator was not red at all. The only thing wrong was that the screw used to tighten the screen had become rusty due to sweat which is pretty normal for any phone. I went to another center where they checked the repair history and said that even though the indicator was not read the warranty was now void since the other center people had made an entry onto the centralized server whcih could not be reverted. I would like to request Sony Ericsson not to place such cheats at their service centers. By doing this you are losing a lot of customers. I want this matter to be resolved ASAP. As it is I'm going to the consumer court against these thugs.

Sony Ericsson W595 — unsatisfied service. 3 months passed but not handed over the phone to me.

Dear Sir

This to inform you that undersigned purchased a new handset (Handset Description is mentioned below) on 12.12.2009.
But just after 12 days of purchase undersigned faced sliding problem. It took almost 15 days to resolve. After that again the handset faced display problem. This time also it took almost 20 days to resolve.
Surprisingly again the handset faced a problem of spot on the display screen. There are two spot (Black coloured) visible on the screen which got sprayed causing non visibility of anything. Accordingly undersinged submitted the handset in SONY Eriction Authorized Service center (Located at A.K.Azad Road, Near Nepali Mandir ,Paltan Bazar, Guwahati 781008 Ph. No. [protected]) on 28.07.2010. Now it is about 50 days to pass but still i have not got my handset. Whenever i contact the Service centre always I am being told that non availibility of some spares. and they also can not confirm how much time it will take to complete the repairing process..

It is very surprising that after purchase of the handset almost 3 months i had to keep the hadnset in your Service centre. Does it viable?? is it the way to handle a customer?? Please help me in early repairing of the handset so that i can get it at the earliest or else i have to take legal action through court.
