[Resolved]  Southern Railways — Tambaram Station Parking charges

Tambaram Railway Station reservation counter parking charges are too high just for 30 mints (which is the minimum time for booking ticket) we need to pay RS:10 for the two wheeler's which is very very high and the person who is collecting money is arrogent and rog guy. He convey all the people who asked about the high parking charges like me was getting lot of scolding from him. He conveyed one more information that person who took contracts paid 18 Laks for this. So they want to get maximum out of it.

SOUTHERS RAILWAYS PLEASE LOOK INTO IT AND REDUCE THE CHARGES.WHAT IS THE ROLE OF VIGILANCE IN RAILWAYS??????????

Indian Railways — payment of Charge without parking

Dear Sir,
I stay at bokaro steel city, jharkhand. and i have noticed aproblm at our railway station that even when me or any person takes his own vehicle to drop or pick up person at the railway station and even i we do not park our vehicles a the railway premises than also some persons there charge us the oarking fees and when we resent than they point towads the entrance approach of the premises of station and tell that even if any vehicle will approach towards the station and will not stopn than also hey have to pay parking fees.
i wish to know that even the approach is not free at the station and without paring our vehicles we have to pay.
this matter need to be looked as i saw this act as that of hooligans and nothing else.

Abuse and misbehaviour and foul language and manhandling of parking staff

Dear Sir,
I stay at indrapuri bhopal and i have parked my vehicle at bhopal main station, due to unknown reason i lost my parking ticket and when i went to pick up my vehicle at the railway station. The parking staff Abuses me, started misbehaviour and stared using foul language over all they even manhandled., I was very polite to them that i lost your parking ticket, but they are not ready to hear anything.

Due to this i was mentally and emotionally suffered, Delayed at my work. I want compensation or atleast a sorry from parking staff...

this matter need to be looked as i saw this act as that of hooligans and nothing else.

I too aggree with you. Even i faced the same situation at west mambalam station. The stand rent was fixed by the raiway department.the contractors took alleged advantage over the ignorance of the people who use the stand.they collect money even above the govt rate.due to our urgency we dont heed to such happenings.but pal, v shud understand 1thing those rogue, , son of a cannot lead their life the same way as they do now by exploiting peoples situation..its v the people have to take the actions.
i filed a complaint against the contractor of mambalam.thanks to the true govt officers who took action against him..nice to c people starting to awke and rise for the public issues.

Railway — Parking Charges

One year ago there was no parkings charges.
Six months ago they are charging Rs. 7 per Vehicle as charges they have to pay Central Railway told by Contracter.
Three months ago they have increase the charges to Rs. 10 per Vehicle.
Now on 16th Feb, 2011 they are demanding Rs. 15 per vehicle.

I want to know what is the amount Contracter paying to Railway.
Is there substantial increase in the Tender amount.
Who has authorise Contracter to increase amount in every three months.

Parking in TAMBARAM railway station is worst
1.Tambaram west has got 2 parking places, the first one is Rs 10 parking/day which is on a cement surface, but of late only reservation passengers are allowed to park in that area and we people who come daily are not allowed, the reason quoted is the space is reduced and they want more turnaround, this cannot be done if we park the vehicles from morning til evenng
2.The second is in the southern side rather can be called on the southern pit, just try to park your bike, there is no surity that your bike will be safe, there no system of parking and all bikes are left as such and the damages caused is high
If it is raining it is so horrible there is lot of mud in the ground and we never feel easy to take our bikes
At last the parking charges printed is Rs4 but collected is Rs 5
The persons who handel it are very rude
What to do we have no other go so we park our bikes and go to work, but really it is painful to us .We are being exploited because we have no choice

now they increased the parking charge to Rs.15 per day. even if your parking requirement is 1 hour you have to pay Rs.15. In Egmore they charge only Rs.6. why this much difference. How two different charges admitted by Southern Railway. Where to fill the complaint. if any one post, we all send a complaint to them.

two wheeler monthly parking renewal on or before 10 of every month starting is usual in all junction, but in tambaram they allowanced as 5 of every month starting. What is the tender notification for it.

Most of time there is no space for parking the byke for monthly holder.
