[Resolved] State Bank of India — False Outstanding Bill against False Card Number

I had a SBI Credit Card (vide Crad No.[protected] & SBI Account No.[protected]. I settled that Card by paynig Rs.5000/- (SBI Money Receipt No. 9293786) against Tracer No. TC-GGN[protected]. As per the letter, I paid the outstanding amount but I did not get the Settlement Letter till date. After that I have been getting some false Card Statements since last few months against Card No. [protected] and my name is mentioned there. I did not use / have this Card ever in my life. I think this is a false statement or these may somebody else's statement which your department is trying to confer to me. This is not at all expected from you where State Bank of India's name is attached. Your department is trying to haraze me by threatfull phone calls which are also baseless. Today I have received a Card Statement again where Rs.11856.61/- is showing as outstanding. If you won't interfare into this or if you won't send me the original settlement letter to me, then I have to go to the Court of law for getting justice. Was this information helpful? No (0) Yes (0)

SBI Credit Card — False outstanding bills

Dear Sir,

I would like to make complaint against the SBI Credit Card for harassing me by making threatening calls on my mobile from 2006 for a payment for which I had never given my consent.

A credit card bearing No.[protected] was issued to me in the first quarter of 2005. From this credit card, I made only three transactions:

1. For filling petrol in my car amounting to Rs. 985/- for which I made payment vide cheque no. 163228 of ICICI Bank amounting to Rs. 985/- which was realized by SBI on 27.5.05.

2. Two purchases were made by me on 17.2.06 from Ritu Wears amounting to Rs. 505/- and from NTC amounting to Rs. 300/-. For these. I made payment through a combined cheque of ICICI Bank amounting to Rs. 805/- bearing cheque No. 224886 which was realized by SBI on 20.3.06.

After that, I made no transaction. But without my consent, a health policy of an amount Rs. 2, 880/- was imposed on me by the SBI Credit Card and sending me the false bills. I request the SBI to cancel this policy and my above credit card vide my letters dated 24.2.06 and 20.4.06. I also deposited the crushed card in the drop box but still till date they are harassing me for a payment for which I had no link and and I had never been consented. From 2006 to till date they have raised this amount upto 14, 000/-. So many times I contacted the SBI Credit card Customer Care but they never listened to me instead they harrased me and threatened me on phone from time to time.

I, therefore, request you to help me from this.

i am having credit card no. [protected], i have received a wrong bill amounting to rs.929/-which i never used, for this cheating by sbi under protest i am surrendering this credit card with immediate effect, i also want to know the byerules how you are charging such fake amounts, i also wants to know the names of persons responsible for this fraud so that i can move into suitable legal forum, against them.further i also want to close my all savings accounts with sbi, please treat this as urgent, being a very old customer of sbi, never faced such instance and that was the reason i relied upon sbi being good nationalised bank
