[Resolved] State Bank of India — Harrassing collection calls on wrong number | |||
My name is Shivani Singh residing in Hyderabad. I Have been receiving very frequent and harrassing calls from SBI for a collection on credit card of one R. Kistaiyah on my BSNL landline (#[protected] since the time I got a new connection on my name. I have informed them each time to remove this number as this is wrong number, and each time the ladies on the call are extremely rude and argumentative and gone to the extent of telling me - " Do you want me to lie as I there is no option of removing this number meaning I will keep getting these calls". I get the calls from Gurgaon call center which on my phone appear as [protected]. I have also tried calling customer care #[protected] for redressal of this but unfortunately there is no such option in IVR which can lead me to an agent. It is getting extremely annoying as the calling agents are highly rude and leave my BP to soar post each call. I would really appreciate if this issue is resolved at earliest. Thanks! I feel this is some kind of fraud. If we give our date of birth, mother's maiden name, date of birth, phone number etc, it is definitely possible to use the information control the transaction of credit cards online. I hope SBI cards get into this.
