[Resolved]  State Bank of India — Non-payment of Revised DA

Address:Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Dear Sir,

I regret to bring to your kind notice that FOR THE THIRD CONSECUTIVE HALF YEAR my pension update arising out of DA Revision from 63% to 72% w.e.f. July, 2012 has been delayed.

It happened when the DA for Central Govt pensioners was revised in September, 2011, then in April, 2012 and now again in September, 2012.

Every time I am made to run from pillar to post. Despite sending mails to helpline, lho, cppc or branch, requesting personally / telephonically to the Branch Manager or the CPPC officiials, I am made to fret and fume any number of times till the revision is effected - more than a month later than others!

WHY AM I HARASSED IN THIS WAY AGAIN AND AGAIN?

It is obvious that there is some silly technical fault / bug in the pension Database maintained by the Bank, which is causing this problem, but are there no competent people at all in the largest bank of India to identify and remove the irritant once for all?

Or, are pensioners unimportant customers to the Bank that they do not deserve decent treatment at the hands of the bank?

In utter disgust,

C. Lakshminarayanan
Anguished Pensioner
