Sun Direct — No channels are available, Customer care not resolving the issue

Hi

I am a sundirect customer (SmartCard No: [protected]R). Majority of the channels are not available for last one month. I have raised compliant to customer care multiple number of times and they are not resolving the issue. I already have done the payment till the month of November. What to do if they take the money from us and not giving the required service?

Sun Direct — Cheated by agent & No Channels

1. When installing, the agent took money for 1yr subscription, but have got only 6 months. Now I am paying extra. Emailed TN Nodal officers, but no use.

2. All the channels are now gone one by one. Notification to adjust the antenna for proper reception, but no technician turned in yet. Called customer care couple of time, but no response.

Sun Direct — Paid channel not telecasted

They have announced in channel that the disc positioning would be done by rep FREE of charge.
On 25/10/10, they have given a dealer's contact No of Mr.Himalayaraja at Attapur (Ph.[protected]).On contact dealer informed that the complaint will be closed on 27/10/10.He has not closed the complaint as committed.There after he have switched off his mobile.
Again I called consumer care on 31/10/10 and booked a complaint wide reference No.[protected].They have told that the complaint will be closed before 48 hrs.
Daily I was reminding the consumer care regarding the complaint.Now I am unable to reach even consumer care of Sundirect.
I have got the Tamil package for 6 monts but out of the package 3 channels are not telecasted.This is the waste of Money for me.
My smart card No is [protected]R and set up box No. is C[protected].My contact No is [protected]/[protected].
There is no other go for me other than consumer forum.Last time my complaint of receiver breakdown attended only after regitering the complaint at Consumer forum. I request consumer forum to take action against Sundirect and Dealer Himalayaraja.

Sun Direct — No Signal and irresponsible answer

For the past three weeks there is no telecast of pay channels. When we made compliant we was assured that it will get corrected within 72 hrs. After 7 days we have again called the call center. Then it was said that it will get corrected within 24 hrs. After 3 days we called again. Very cool that said that they have a seniority list and based on the list they are correcting. They cannot correct because of we made the compliant. They doesn't inform our seniority list. They said we will do. That's all. We are not getting channels for the past one month. But we are paying for that. In the channel a, they are telecasting that this service is FREE OF COST. CONTACT DEALER. When we contacted dealer, he is very cool and ask to pay Rs. 150/-. Sun group cheating customers again.

Sun Direct — Absent/Poor Service

Over a month now, since the satellite issue, our dth provided by SUN Direct shows negligible number of channels.

And over 10 times I have called their SOLO customer care number so far, only to be told the same reply:
"Our server is down, we cannot lodge a complaint now. Please call after half an hour".

Points I would like to warn fellow consumers of:
1. Half an hour is just for the record. Their server has never been up so far.
2. Today after I spoke rudely to them and asked them how many employees were on rolls in their customer care center, I was given 2 mobile numbers of "Company technicians" as I was a "Hi-Fi" customer (Should I feel good about the same? I have no doubts about that one)........
3. Which by the way is not answered. Both the 'Company technicians' are not answering their phones.
4. When I called back customer care to report the same, the executive pretended not to hear me and cut the call........

WOW. WAY TO GO SUN DIRECT DTH!
I am purchase new Sun DTH as on[protected]in Deepavali). But my DTH is not active up to this time. Every time a message display our TV Screen. The message is 'E16-4 service in currently scrambled'. I am telling this problem in Cochin Office in more time.

But not solve this problem up to this time.

SUN DTH — no proper response or service

hai i am user of sun dth for nearly 2yrs, my smart card no. [protected]. the service is very poor , actually from 4 months i am not receiving any proper channels. due to satellite error. when i called to the representive for clarrification . nearly 30 times they said it will be solved within 24 hours. but still now it has not been solved.

but from past 3 weeks due to satellite change even the channels has been reduced . i have registered 8 complaints for dish adjustment still now it has not been resolved.

Hi all, I m one of the customer of SUNDIRECT and I m really disappointed with the services from SUNDIRECT.
my smart CARD NO is [protected] and at least 50 times I have called to customer care . dealers and distributers.
but there is no one to listen to this complain.
I could not see the world cup and during that I was assured that my DISH will be re-setteled by the technician but no body came till date.
I m trying everyday as currently SONY CHANNEL AND hungama CHANNELS have the problems,

What I feel that the company like SUNDIRET thinks that they will survive long with this kind of poor services.

IF MY PROBLEMS WILL NOT BE SORTED OUT SHORTLY I WILL GO TO CONSUMER COURT WITH ALL THE DTEAILS I HAVE AND SUNDIRET WILL THEN BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL THE HARRASMENT TO ME.
THROUGH THIS MAIL I WILL REQUEST SOME OF THE SENIOR OF SUN-DIRET TO LOOK INTO THIS MATTER AS I HAVE BEEN FACING THE PROBLEM SINCE LST FEWMONTHS.

SUN DTH — Non availability of TV Channels

Hi,

Lodged complaint with SUN call center on non availability of channels as per my subscription on 4-Nov-10 which is mainly due to change in sattelite from SUN DTH. Call center person assured me it will be addressed within 3 working days buy sending field executive to change dish direction. However eeven after 10 days nothing is happening. Repeated calls to thier call center is waste. It is horrible and vertually impossile to get connection to thier call centre. Don't know how to deal with the case. Advice how to proceed. I feel TV owners should be properly informed abouth this company on DTH connection for thier third class service.

Sun Direct — NON AVAILABILITY OF SERVICE FOR MORE THAN A MONTH

From last month ie 1st Oct ,i am not getting the Sundirect services. I have already paid for the month in advance and there was enough balance. I have been running from pillar to post for getting the same rectified. I have contacted the call center where they take the complaint and give some distributor no. When we contact the distributor, he reverts saying that they are doing this house to house and so cannot commit when they will able to reach my house. They are not ready to take any details of cutomer. When we call back the customer care center, they will give the ticket nos and conveys that the technical team will contact me. It is more than one month and i have got two ticket nos where my issue is still not resolved. I have sent a mail to the nodal officer of sun direct as per the contact details available in the site. No reply was received till now. The ticket no MO-52567 &[protected]. I still have more balance with Sun direct.
Dear Sir,

We have lodged complaint with Sundirect DTH Customer Service on 30th October 2010 for non receipt of signal for DTH service.
But till today it has not been restored and when I call them they always told me that it will be sorted out today..

Sun Direct Complaints - Very Bad Customer Care — Very Bad Customer Care

I have some problem last one month in my DTH(Sun direct) for which am contacting customer care... but no responce from them... they r not sending any technician to solve the issue .. i keep on calling customer care five to six time but the problem is not yet solved.. very bad responce.. only they r providing attractive addvertisement for the product sale but the service aftrer purchase is very very bad.. am totally disappointed. we have not received more than 50% channels but we have paying more than 100 chennels.

i had never seen such waste customer care in my life.

please please please please resolve the all customer problam for staying in
north india.

Sun Direct — Dish not yet aligned "Complaint raised several time from a month before

HI,

I am a Sun direct DTH customer from the past 2.5 years, Sun direct has changed their Satellite, so the DTH dish need to align to the new satellite direction.

I have raised several complaints to Customer Care, but they are not carrying anything.
