[Resolved] Tata AIG Life Insurance — No receipt even after taking the money out of my bank | |
I made a payment to Tata AIG in early February 2010 for my Life Insurance Policy. They are not willing to even give me a receipt because they say that I have not provided a blood report. I had ticked this column which asked if I had done any test in the last 5 years. Who hasn't done a blood test, common? They are refusing to give me the receipt until I go to their office and oblige them. I did the payment through cheque by courier as I work and have no time to go over, but now they are harassing me. I wasn't even contacted and informed about this, I had to call in and they said we have sent you the intimation, which I received early this month. To add to this I wrote to the IRDA supposed regulatory body for insurance companies in India and they took 2 weeks to reply, only to say they can't register my compaint because I have not provided a postal address and my policy number.
