[Resolved]  Tata VSNL Broadband — MisLeading Information by Sales Executive

Sales Executive of TATA Vsnl Broadband Co. are cheats. They just say anything to get their product sold and later on their department admits that Sales people are everywhere wrong and customer should verify all the facts what sales people are saying with the company.

I have a prepaid connection of Tata Vsnl in Ahmedabad purchased in July, 2008 valid till January, 2009 end for 6 months. In the month of September a sales executive from tata came across me and asked me to shift to Postpaid for better connectivity and services which I was not getting earlier. I said that I am not interested if by shifting I lose my validitity till January for using the services.
But he said dont wory your validity will be transfered and after January, 2009 you will be charged accordingly. But in the month January they disconnected my services by posting a bill of Rs 900/- for the month of December.
They also charged me Rs 1000/- for refundable security deposit.

On explainint the issue to their local billing department at Ahmedabad centre Mr. Peter Joseph admitted that their sales people might have misguided me and now they cannot do anything. I need to clear my dues first to resume the services. He said that Sales People are everywhere wrong and its my responsbility to check the commitment given by Sales People with their company. I have complaint 8 to 10 times in their office but there has not been a proper communication from them. They are also not ready to return my security deposit.

Please help me in this matter.
