I had bought an Air Lounge in December 2010 under order No. is M962809 and the invoice No. is V[protected] dated[protected], 1st month it worked fine then the problems started coming, like;
1) Till date I have patched up 6 punctures either pinholes or cracks all are on the upper side at the seam joint of the seating area.(Manufacturing Defect)
2) Now a new problem the back rest seams are bulging. It feels like what ever was holding them together internally is either broken or torn.

It is a pity that after paying more than Rs.7300/- including postal charges, I have been supplied with a defective product.

Complaint was registered with customer care, now they are saying product can be repaired or replaced under a very nominal charges, for the same I have to send the product back to them with a covering letter and the invoice copy along with a DD of Rs 395/- in favour of Telebrands India Pvt Ltd payable at Mumbai. Once they receive the defective Air Lounge, they will check the same and if repairable they will repair it and send it across or let me know the replacement charges.

i am facing the same problem with the air lounge telebrands. i had sent it a month back but after calling umpteen times and speaking to one ms swapnila, it is yet to be returned. the officers are hiding behind e-mail complaints only and no telephone numbers are provided even if you ask them that you would speak to a superior.

    I had ordered a "butterfly ab-machine" from Telebrands India in the month of May 2010. The order number is 1773656.For the product I had made a credit card payment of Rs.4994. Till today[protected] I have not received the product. They are not picking my call and giving excuses that we will credit it soon but till today I haven't got it. Therefore, I want the refund of the total amount(Rs 4994) from Telebrands India at the earliest.

    Agree, they cheated me for non-stick cookware 1+1 free. When i saw it and the first impression was like it is worthless, moreover it was not a good metal too but an iron made because I saw rust on items after few days even when I take good care of it (washing and cleaning immediately).

      Sir,

      I booked a 5 in 1 Sofa Bed vide order No. M928977 dt 14/8/2010 from The Tele Brands (India) Pvt. Ltd.Plot No.A-168, Road No.25, M.I.D.C., Wagle Industrial Estate, Thane-400 604. Delivery of the same was made to me on 29.8.2010. I regretfully informed the company that the Air Pump supplied to me alongwith the sofa was not in working condition. Thereafter, I had telephonic talks with their customer care centre on 16.9.2010 and as per their suggestion I returned the Air Pump via registered post No.EV[protected]IN on the same day to the above mentioned address.

      I further informed them that even after lapse of so many days I have not received the said pump from them causing me mental agony, however the receipt of the defective pump has been confirmed over phone by their office on 4.10.2010

      I have again email to their office on 8.10.2010 with an advise to deliver me the said Air Pump at the earliest so as to enable me to use the sofa cum bed which is not more than a toy for want of the said pump and to avoid any further anxiety to me but till the date i have not recevied any reply from their side.

      Now, I have no other option left beside to move to consumer forum for want of justice.

      Tele Brands(India) Pvt.Ltd. — Delivery of defective piece

      Dear Sir,

      I had ordered 1 Air Lounge and Table Mate. I received the same on 1/08/08, but both the pieces were defected, prior to it while ordering when we asked that whats the surety that the product which we'll receive will be perfect then they informed us on customer care that the product is sent after checking only.After receiving the order when we called to the customer care than they said we need to return back the product and then again they will deliver again.That will charge us another Rs.2000/- extra.being a consumer why should we tolerate this inconvenience.

        Hi sir i am from hyderabad, i have brought a sofa from Telebrands, which used to show the advertisement on AXN channel, i have pay the amount through credit card.. after some days i have received the product, but the product was not in good condition as the sofa is Air Lounge, which has to be filled with air..and there has been some punctures in the sofa as soon as i have received with the courier person..who has called me and said to come near by a specified area and I went there and I have taken my product.. as soon as i have opened it there has been air leakage from the sofa and as i filled the air..it goes off leaking from one side result in puncture.. i horrified and called the office immediately an said about it .. she is getting angry upon me and telling don’t shout nothing can be happen and at last she said to me to send it back to me ..again on the same day I went to the post office and by speed post I have delivered the product on their adress...they got the product within 2 days..but refuse to say me that it has not been delivered..u give me the pin number so I have given.. after that they have said me who has received the product , and again they asked me from which post office it has been despatched it has been taken 15-20 days to say them that the product has been despatched to them…any how after all these they accepted and said ok we will replace as soon as so again after 2 months of calling and reminding they they have send me my product back now with two punctures and two patches they have given me the sofa and when I used to call and tell me they refuse to accept my call..they used to say hello..if I explained about my detail they used to hang my phone.. I have lost the product and lost all my money for calls to them..there has been huge loss to me from this company, so I request you sir please take severe action to them its my humble request and a last hope from you I have been fed up with them calling and asking and requesting… My contact number is [protected], mail Id [protected]@yahoo.com

        Hi! i m rahul i have purchased a airlounge, but after about one month it got out of order ie.open the stiches.when i informed custmercare they told-there is only 15 days garauntee of moneyback and now you have to deposit 2800Rs.
        Now what should i do?is there only 15 days gaurantee? and what about any warantee?
        So i wanna clarification and i supposed- Difinetely i'll get response from yourself.

            I have purchased an Air Lounge from Telebrands through telephone with Order no – 1790873 on 31/05/2010.

            After a week I have not received the product,
            So I inquire for the order status to Customer Care, Ms Swapnali , I got the information that they had dispatched the product on 14/06/2010 and I have to collect the product from near by Post Office.
            I had asked why it is so, because I was clearly informed at the time of order booking that it will be the home delivery and for that they are charging me 395 Rs as VPP for the same.
            After this discussion, I received the product on 17/06/2010 through home delivery.

            I opened up the package and I found that the turbo pump used to inflate air lounge is not working. It is totally a defective piece delivered to me. Even it is not possible to switch it on.
            I asked to Customer Care, Ms Swapnali about defective turbo pump, She suggested me that I have to send back the turbo pump through courier to them and I have to pay that courier charges.
            After inspection they will send me the repaired product for which I had paid the price for the new product.
            Further I also wanted to get in touch with some senior personnel to take the matter up, to which the company's executive refused to transfer the line.

            I lodged a complaint with the company's Customer Service, Miss Swapnali, as the product is under Life time warranty, as per the claim made by on the TV and the product carries 15 days warranty, But I was surprised to hear that for any manufacturing defect the customer has to pay to get the some replacement for the defective product.

            I have received an air lounge sofa cum bed through VPP 10 days back. On my surprise, the piece which I got through postal has not yielded any results. The sofa which I inflated gets leakage and within two or three minutes, the sofa becomes empty. My order No. is [protected] and hence, I may please be apprised about the solutation whether I have to send back the air lounge or I may be getting refund after compalining the same.               I (Pankaj Mittal) have placed an order to Telebrands on March 27, 2010 for purchasing its product having name "Air Lounge" over telephone and this Company's executive has given me an order no. 1768731 against my order for further references. But even after 52 days, product (Air Lounge) has not been delivered till date. I have made payment of Rs. 5794/- through my Citi Bank (Master) credit card no. [protected].

              Company assured me that I would get my product within 15 days to 20 days. After waiting for the period as specified above. I have made many reminders through telephone to the Company on their telephone no.[protected] and every time their executive told me that they have sent my product through registered mail having reference no. R0000036 and as per them I would get my product within next 2 or 3 days and they did not tell me the exact status of my order till date.

              On the advice of Telebrands’s executive, I have faxed the letter on their fax no.[protected] dated May 06, 2010 and again May 11, 2010.

              Now, I am too much upset with this order and with Telebrands’s services

              Therefore, you are requested to do needful at your earliest.

              I also ordered for an air lounge on feb 2008 through the phone line 30307000.order number 1407237, i have received it but it was with defect. i have send it back, i have proof also, but telebrands prople saying that they didnot receive it, they jusy not bottering to replace it, i have many mails to them but those peole have reply yet to me, its really worst.. The customer service is rude that they hang up your call (happened to me more than 20 times on different days) whom should i complain about it / how do i go about receiving my product / refund...please help
              have spent more than 1000 rupees on telephone calls from bangalore

I already registered the complaint on your costumer care No [protected] at about three or four times. Now I am not in condition to take this product and already despatched to you on 11 Jun 2010.                   TELEBRANDS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, MUMBAI advertises its products through advertisement on TV Channels/e-Marketing & attracts consumers by giving various tall claims regarding the quality of products. But once the product is sold, Company hardly cares for the consumer. Similar story happened with Sh Avinash Prabhune but he fought back against careless/adamant approach & won the battle against the Company. The story will help the consumers while dealing with such companies/products. It will protect the consumers from unfair trade practices adopted by the private companies.
                  In the era of e-Marketing/TV Marketing, M/S Telebrands Mumbai has been accused of ‘deficiency in services’ by Hon District Consumer Forum, Nagpur & ordered company to pay Rs 10999/- to Shri Avinash V Prabhune, Nagpur within 30 days.
                  Brief Story of the Shri Avinash V. Prabhune.
                  After watching the advertisement on TV, Shri Avinash Prabhune had purchased Air Lounge (SOFASET(air) (ANL1SAB)) from M/S Telebrands, Mumbai vide Order No M640598 & vide Invoice No V[protected] dtd 03/12/2007. The Cost of the said Air Lounge was Rs.5999+295 (Post +Handling charges). The said Air Lounge was received by the Sh Prabhune 20/12/2007 at his house by VPP(Post). He started using Air Lounge in Jan-08 onwards as per instructions provided with supply of material. Complainant noticed that the said air lounge was automatically deflated. After three similar failures from the joints, Complainant packed the air lounge & stopped using the same since June 2008. The Company had assured good quality material along with toughness of material through demo given in TV advertisement & as shown on the packing box of the Air lounge. Such failures within short period o[censored]sage were not desirable. Such repetitions were not acceptable because similar joint failures at different joints locations confirm the manufacturing defects at joints in the said air lounge. It was very much contradictory to Companies claim regarding the quality of the product shown on TV Advertisement. So he requested company to arrange for replacement of defective Air Lounge (Sofa) but instead of giving replacement, company adamantly asked him to pay Rs.2500/ for replacement. Prabhune declined the offer & further requested the company to consider case through various correspondences for about eight long months. Thereafter Company had not even shown any courtesy of replying to his letters. So he was left with no choice other than to file Complaint before Hon Dist Consumer, Forum, Nagpur. Finally, filed case on 13/04/2009. Hon Forum issued two notices to the Company but Company had neither appeared nor submitted any reply to Hon Forum’s notice. So the matter was decided EX PARTIE.

                  Hon Dist Consumer Forum has directed M/S Telebrands Mumbai

                  1) To provide New Air lounge as free replacement at the residence of Complainant at Nagpur without imposing any cost or refund its cost at which it is sold.(i.e.Rs5999/-) with 9% interest

                  2) To pay Rs.3000/- as compensation for Physical and Mental Agony to Complainant.

                  3) To pay Rs. 2000/- as the costs of complaint.

                  Hon President Mr. Nalin Majithia, Hon Member Shri Milind Kedar, Hon Member passed the orders. Complainant Shri Avinash Prabhune represented the matter in person while none appeared for M/S Telebrands Mumbai

                    I had place an order for Ab King Pro with Telebrands India though order no. 1703037 on 27th Sept., 2009 and the payment for the same was drawn by them through my SBI credit card on 3rd October, 2009.

                    When on 10th I confirmed regarding its delivery status, I was told that the order has been cancelled, though I have not cancelled my order, I want to reiterate as to -

                    1.Why did they draw the payment of Rs.5448/- from my SBI Credit Card if the order said to have been cancelled;

                    2.Why they have not refunded the funds drawn by them till date.

                    I e mailed to them that If I am not refunded the payment of Rs.5448/- immediately, I will go to the consumer forum and will file A suit not only for the refund of payment drawn by them but alongwith expenses, if any and payment for mental stress and wastage of time on follow up with them to the tune of Rs.1,00,000/- as I am a patient of high blood pressure & sugar and may suffer any physical or mental loss/damage which have to be compensated by Telebrands .

                    It seems they are in a habit of not supplying good on taking the payments. I request your goodselves to please help me in getting the refund of my payment of Rs.5448/- which they have drawn through credit card. Moreso if any interest will be levied by SBI Credit Card on me on this payment, that will eventually be paid by Telebrands only.

                      I called every week from last two to three months to their customer relative executives and every time i get same reply. Every time they said your product has been dispatched and you'll get the delivery in two days. But now I'm not going to tolerate this. If I get a support from all you guys then I would like to fight with them. As they are making fool to us.

                        I ordered a product named 'slim-wear' from telebrands home shopping. They sent me the product once but the size was incorrect. I returned the product back via courier, after so many days when i heard no response from telebrands i made a call, they told me that they have not received the product back. I also Faxed them the courier receipt but no response is coming from their side. everytime i call i send them a fax copy of courier receipt and my bill but no actions are taken.
                        I ordered for an air lounge 5 in 1, .A parcel was sent to me by VP. I eagerly collected it and when opening, to my dissapointment i found that inside the parcel there was no air lounge, but many copies of - 10th Annual Report 2008-09, Innovation Courage Trust ADANI Mundra Port and Special Zone Limited. I lodged a complaint to the customer care and they asked me to send pack the parcel and its content which I did with additional expense from my pocket. But i was assured that I would be sent the airlounge when they recieve the pakage for which I put fith and am eagerly waiting

                          This is a general warning to the public to keep away from Telebrands products. The products are inferior and the company's call center representatives do not attend to calls or listen to customer requests for support.

                          The advertisements are very misleading and deceptive. For instance, the advertisements for Telebrand's air sofa and air lounge (both made in China and costing over Rs 6, 000 including Rs 550 VPP), aired everyday on different channels, falsely claim that these products can withstand the pressure from a bulldozer without breaking.. another visual is that of a air lounge being tied to a tractor and being dragged at a good speed without being damaged... obviously, these are false claims as these products get punctured within months of normal day-to-day use...

                          I had a bad experience with an air lounge which I ordered from Telebrands India in August last year. Within two months the fabric started leaking air... the so-called repair kit given by the company (a tiny tube of adhesive and some fabric patches) was inadequate as the adhesive was exhausted after a single application... moreover, even after the 'repair', the air lounge continued to develop punctures...

                          After all the above, I have contacted the mediocre call center to which Telebrands India has outsourced its help desk five times since January this year. The call center representatives are trained to just remain silent when the customer lets out his ire, promise the customer that the repair kit will be sent, and then just DO NOTHING about it...

                          A 'Nicer Dicer' which I purchased from Telebrands last was also of inferior Chinese make... the advertisements highlighting this product are misleading simply because the product is not capable of doing what it claims to do... the advertisements claim that the blades of the product have been specially designed in a criss-cross pattern to take any amount of pressure when dicing fruits or vegetables... actually, the blades don't live upto the company's claims... when I used my Nicer Dicer for the first time after unpacking it at home, its blades simply crumbled within seconds of coming in contact with the vegetables I was trying to dice... forget dicing it, the Nicer Dicer could not take even the pressure of half a piece of onion...

                          Please note that public advertisements for the above by Telebrands India continue to claim that the Nicer Dicer can dice an entire apple without any problem... the truth is far from this bogus claim, and all those who purchased this spurious product on the strength of Telebrands' lies know it...

                          I request all customers to not fall for the deceptive marketing practices and utter disrespect for the customer practised by this fraudulent company.

                            This is reference to order number M810140 we ordered air press massager and the service was prompt on time delivery but unfortunately the machine powered pump which support to massager for airpressure was not working condition, on the same time after receiveing the same we have informed the call center and was advice to return it back for repllacement and was guranttee return 7 working days.

                            We have received the courior before time but unfortunately this time we receive the thai pads instead of powered pump machine, however we call up call center several time as per their record the the courior was sent on time which is true the content of the courior is not the powered pump but thai pads.

                            After many letters email post we are oblige to complain this matter to consumer court to take necessary action

                            Hence sir i kindly request to help us in the above matter will be highly appreciated

                                I have bought a easy sew machine from Telebrands India. My order number is 1639781. It was not working properly, so I send it back for replacement. I received a new machine, with the same problem. I am really fed up with this. I have to send it back at my own cost and again receive a faulty product. I want my money back or get it replaced at their cost this time and they are say that none of these are possible. I don't know what should I do.

                                  I am very sorry to say that your products are Crap and the service that you provide to customers is totally pathetic………..
                                  I had purchased a 5 in 1 Air sofa somewhere in August 2007…. I got a faulty piece and to get it replaced I had to follow up and follow up and finally got a replacement nearly 45 days later…… I used the product for around 4 months and it started developing holes all of a sudden…. We had to go out of India so we kept the product as it is, so that we can repair it at a later stage….
                                  On 4th February my wife delivered the faulty piece to your bhandup office to get it repaired….. I was told that it would be repaired and delivered within next 4 days…… I was told on 7th Feb that it had 5 holes and has been repaired and will be couried on the 9th Feb. I waited till 14thfeb. When I called your bhandup office on the 14th Feb., I was asked to fax the letter I submitted by me while delivering the product. I did it and waited for the person to call back from bhandup. She told me that the product will be delivered by 18th Feb. and today i am told some other story...I have still not received the product……… between 4th to 19th February I followed up with the customer service desk atleast 50 times and nobody spoke to me properly or was able to give me a convincing reply…
                                  Today when my wife called your Bhandup office she was told that it has some problems and that somebody senior would talk to us……Is this the way you guys treat customers…. You guys advertise a lot boasting that the product that you show is very durable and it can sustain all weights and even kids jumping with spike shoes---. Is this what you call durability?? You are cheating your customers by giving false promises and advertising values which the product does not have at all……………….. I think it is now time for me to go to consumer court with my grievances, while you continue harassing your customer by transferring his phone calls from customer care office to some other office and again somewhere else…..

                                  The product was finally said to be repaired and we collected it from the Bhandup office yesterday... went home inflated it and within 10 minutes it was flat...

                                  i just wanted to bring to everbody's notice that how we are being cheated with products which teebrands boast of durability and the customer service is least bothered to even give us a reply...

                                  hopefully somebody would look into this





                                  You guys really need to be taught a lesson and after spending Rs7500 on this crap piece it shows how you cheat customers…….

                                  I have purchsed a COMPAQ PRESARIO V3611 AU LAPTOP Sr. no.2CE7352TP1 in Feb. 2008. It started giving me trouble like white screen in Nov. 2008. Finally a approached to local Ahmedabad based service center : Xcort Micro Systems in Jan 2009. It was really unbearable to work with it. Sudden it becomes white and after 5-6 restarting efforts it might show. As usual I sent to service station they kept for 3 days and reported that it do not have any problem. It becomes measurable situation when presentation is going on. The warranty was about to over so they smartly killed some time (they are trained for it! It seems). Meanwhile when the problem occurred we rushed to service centre. Now they said that it is out of warranty and LCD replacement will cost you Rs. 27000/-!!!. New Notebook just cost 26000/- toaday.
                                  Now who is at fault?. HP COMPAQ always fools customers. So I would like to warn other HP COMPAQ user to be careful. And new buyers not to purchase HP COMPAQ products because it has very short life.
                                  Anyway it seems that HP COMPAQ are just do not care about customer and feel that no customer can do anything that what they told me. ‘You can go to anywhere and complain for us – we don’t care’ their last answer was just today!!!

                                  Till today the machine is lying in PUNE and HP service staff is playing football with me.!!

                                  I had buy a lotto flotters from Kumar Shoes, Station Road, Bhandup. But I realize that the lotto flotters which are available for Rs. 250/= are been sold for Rs. 500/= & same for other brand shoes and chappals. Other than that, they remove the company price tag and stick their own price tag on it.

                                  When asked about it, they argue and behave very rudely and in shameless manner.

                                  They have the worst service, specially pricing issue.

                                  It is quite disgusting that the contact numbers of service centres (kanpur) given on the web are all fake. Some say wrong number, and some are invalid...Compaq has imposed a negative image on my mind. I am not gonna make anyone to buy hp products, even they are in hurry when you contact them online.

                                      I'm Dr.Abhijit Mondal, recently baught "Air Lounge" from Telebrandsindia by VP Parcel. That was delivered to me on 25112008. My address is 31.S.N.BANERJEE ROAD; BUDGE BUDGE; KOLKATA-700137; WEST BENGAL.

                                      Now, the problem is that the lower part (bedding part) of the Air lounge getting deflated spontaneously in about half-an hour after inflation which is supposed to remain air tight.May be the valve provided for that purpose is not working. So, Air lounge has become ABSOLUTELY USELESS to me & my family. After spending more than 6500- for it, we couldn't even use it for 60 mins!!!
                                      Moreover, one clip provided behind for making Air-lounge into sofa is ABSOLUTELY DEFORMED, can't use it in any position.
                                      I had sent complaint via email on 28112008 to customercare of the company.But, none bothered to reply or contact to me, then helplessly I tried them to contact on phone, some customercare officer picking up my, after listening my problems just DELIBERATELY DISCONNECTED my call.Now, none is picking up my phone.They are saying in their advertisement that they will refund total paid money if that's returned within 15 days or they will change the product if it's found defective anywhere.But, in this condition how can i contact to them?...THEY ARE SIMPLY CHEATING COMMON PEOPLE LIKE ME...!!
                                      Now, who will help me?...If possible try to contact & help me please!

                                        Booked a German V-Slicer vide order no. 1563635 dated 25.09.2008. Till date I am unable to receive the product and the company Telebrands India has already deducted a cost amount of product as Rs.1994/-.

                                        I am not interested in having the product now, as my money amounting to Rs.1994/- + interest thereon may kindly be got refunded at the earliest.

                                        telebrand / German V Slicer — non-receipt of German V Slicer

                                        I had booked German V Slicer on 25.09.2008 through Telebrand. The company despatched the product on 01.10.2008 vide parcel number B 0064082 at the given address. So far I am unable to receive the product and lot of complaints telephonically have been made to Telebrand Customer Care, but futile.
                                        I am very annoyed with telebrands india who has not sent the product but deducted the cost money earlier.
                                        these people selling this product is TELEBRANDS, they have worngly named it should named TERRORISTS of TV BRANDS, all false products.

                                        where is the replacement product of the German V-Slicer AWB No.[protected] ?
