The Oriental Insurance company Ltd/ Univercell/ Alegion Insurance Broking Ltd - A CHEATING COMPANY. Sir With all due respect I am writing this mail only with a little hope that i will get justice. I purchased a new cell phone of Samsung make and monte model on feb 7th 2011, under HDFC - 6 EMI Scheme, it was my dream to purchase such a touch screen phone, unfortunately I lost the new cell phone on 14th of Feb 2011, the cell was just one week old and I have not even browsed through the features. The phone was purchased in jayanagar univercell shop, the sales executive told me to immediately send claims to insurance company, per his advice I followed all the terms and send the orginal documents to insurance company ( Alegion Insurance Broking Limited), I have not got the insurance claims till date. when i call the customer care they gave me a reference number and told me it will take 45 days minimum to process and maximum was unknown. every month now i am paying the EMI to HDFC bank even when i dont have the cell phone using. can the consumer court please help please help.
