[Resolved]  Times Of India, Hyderabad — Not receiving news paper from one month

I have subscribed for TOI newpaper as on 15th Nov 08, which is due for implementation from 1st Jan 09.
Till date (01-Feb-09) we have not received the news paper. We have called up the TOI Office / Agent and complained about the issue multiple times, but none responded to the issue. This is quiet disguisting and loosing faith in the TOI Management as this is the most common problem faced by every one who subscribe to this 6 month renewal policy. Request the concerned authorities to take stern action against the responsible and get the issue resolved.

My renewal details specified below -
SI NO: 42589, 47149
RRE Code: R01960
Date of Payment: 15/11/08
Date of Implementation: 01/01/09

Name: Sagari R
Flat N0: 306, Sruthi Towers,
HIG 331-333, KPHB 6th Phase,

Wrost Customer Service at Hdfc Bank Credit Cards Hyderabad - I am one of the extermely dispointed customer of HDFC Bank Credit Cards Hyderabad.

I had to pay rs:4600 for not doing a transcation at HDFC BANK... I had been calling bank since last 6 months asking for clarification on the dispute transcation.. they never give me clarifcaiton or explained the procedure to raise the dispute..

Now they came back stating that their records do not indicate receipt of any written communication from you seeking clarification on the above charges.

Classical example of Wrost Customer service and also very nice way to cheat customers.

Regards
Santosh

Dear Mr. Santosh,

We thank you for writing to us.

We wish to clarify that HDFC Bank credit cards are accepted at all Merchant Establishments affiliated to Visa/MasterCard International. Consequently, some of the charges incurred by our cardholders may be presented to us by the other banks affiliated to Visa/MasterCard International.

As you would observe from the reverse of the statement, all disputes should be communicated to us in writing within 60 days from the date of the statement which contains the transaction in question. Our records do not indicate receipt of any written communication from you seeking clarification on the above charges.

in view of the same we would like to inform you that you are liable for the transaction and the amount outstanding on your card account is payable.

For any further clarification you may contact our Debt Management Officer at the below mentioned number to assist you regarding queries relating to your card account.

Hi Aparna,

Card no [protected]

With reference to your email ……

The issue still not resolved after speaking with Swathi, debt management officer at[protected]

I have been calling to call center from 2008 asking for clarification on outstanding, nobody told us anything about dispute process. I have learnt from Swathi now that I will have to raise a dispute for the transaction in 2008 itself.

It is not my mistake if you guys don’t tell me the right information when I have called earlier.

a) She said that the disputed amount can’t be revised back and I will have to make the payment even if I have not done the transaction. This is ridiculous to expect payment on transaction not done by customer.

I have already stated that I have erroneously made the payment of rs: 4000 on this card.

If RBI says customers are liable for payment even though they don’t do transaction then I can only comprise to pay rs: 2000 (transaction debit) on this card and would want all the other charges to be revised and wants the credit of rs: 2000 immediately back from the rs: 4000 payment made by me on the card.

And please don’t give me any contacts numbers …… I am frustrated with your contact services.

If you want I can talk to someone in person because it seems in HDFC bank on Telephone nobody wants to take the ownership to resolve the customer issue rather just want to escape from it …….

If I talk to someone in personnel, I will know with whom I have spoken and I can catch him/her if things are not done.

Looking forward for your reply

Regards

Santosh.
