Travelocity India — Cheating and fraudulent malpractices by non reversing of amount even after 10 days

Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that on 26th Feb, 2011 I tried to purchase two Spicejet Airlines through the online travel agent website www.travelocity.co.in for ticket worth Rs. 4,496/= from New Delhi to Kolkata for 14th Mar, 2011 (Order No. INBOM0201088012602201105282994723174906). Now after booking it through and after the debit of the said above amount from my HDFC bank credit card, I got to know that I was not booked being some problem in their website. After getting in touch with them on 26th Feb itself, I was being told in writing as well as verbally that the amount will be revered in 5-6 days. In this scenario I also got in touch with spicejet customer support no. where I was being assured that the amount will be credited on time.

But when after 10 days passed by I didn't get any reversal or response from Travelocity, I tried to inquire about the case by calling the HDFC Bank customer support, when I was being told that the amount is still blocked from my credit card as the merchant still haven't send them the reversal request.

Now in this circumstances I tried to call Travelocity at their customer support no.[protected] and[protected] this evening but no body took the call.

Now I am really feeling cheated by the matter. And hence I requested my banker to take care of the same. My request to you can you help me out in this regard?
