Unknown — Stray Dogs Menace

Dear Sir,

I am a resident of Victoria Road, 1st Cross (behind lifestyle). I write with great anxiety over the daily and constant trouble faced due to the straydogs found in the locality. It is impossible to sleep peacefully a nights with the constant and loud barks. This is a quiet neighbourhood and these dogs have completely ruined the ambience. At nights, these dogs cause riot in the area with their fights and chases. The road remains dirty with the excreta and invites filth and diseases.

I sincerely request you to kindly ensure the stray dogs in the locality are removed from here (put in an animal care shelter and not killed).

Let us act in time.

Can somebody help me. There are addition of 10 - 15 stray dogs in Chandra layout Maruthi nagar. Yesterday they chased me and did not allow me to go to my house on the same street. I am sure if BBMP does not take any action there could be a repetition of a bad incident shortly.

I tried to reach BBMP, etc etc but no response. Appreciate if somebody helps me.

Hi,

There are a lot of stray dogs in Lakkasandra and Wilson garden area. These stray dogs rob your sleep and peace of mind. Will BBMP ever do something with regard to this problem. Are they sleeping? Stray dogs are a menace. Please make Bangalore free of stray dogs.

I am a resident of J.P. Nagar 2nd Phase, 17th Main.
This area especially 17th main seems to be the 'adda' of dogs as there are shops on the road-side and their projections are shelter for them. They start there 'dhamaal' at around 10 P.M. and continue barking/quarreling till morning. It's so disturbing all the night that i can't even explain in words. It's so unsafe to go out in the night as sometimes they are so violent. Please guys do something.

BBMP Stray Dogs Danger — BBMP Stray Dogs Danger

Akshayanagar, Begur, Bannergutta Road has 30-40 stray dogs and it has become heavy danger for kids to pay outside. We have seen day before yesterday stray dogs eating 18 months old kid in bangalore. Please help before some bad thing happens in taking away these stray dogs from Akshayanagar.

In this country called India, we can kill chickens, goats, lambs etc to convert them into delicious non-vegetarian food. We can kill mosquitoes, cockroaches, rats and rodents etc in the name of cleanliness, saving property and life. But you cannot kill USELESS stray dogs because of some INHUMAN and BARBARIC group of people who call themselves as 'Animal Acivists'. These so called activists behave as if stray dogs are the only animals to have a right to live, rest all can be killed, especially in the name of non-vegetarian food. These activists are the MOST INHUMAN AND BARBARIC set of people. Either they should object to killing of all animals/insects/rodents or not object to killing of any animal including stray dogs. It seems they love stray dogs for some unknown 'private' reasons. They will not understand unless their family kids get bitten or killed by a stray dog. I think such activists are either bachelors or unable to reproduce or always stay in AC houses and offices and they do not hear any UNNECESSARY dog barking in the night. They are just BIG B_ _ _ _ _ _ _ .

Huge number of stray dogs. Dangerous to move out of house. BBMP must take action immediately before something serious happens.
